Chapter 2 - Chapter 1: A Fate Far Worse Than Death

The story of this Warrior, begins with his parents' two noble hearts of purity and valor. His mother Felia, she was a great swordswoman. She was strong, courageous, brave, loving, and truthfully she never let go of her morals for she knew that she had the power to help those and protect what cared and loved for. Felia's eyes were piercing and righteous shades of blue like a crystal, her hair was as elegant and graceful as gentle fire, it was red with a hit of yellow and orange. His father, Sir Valen, was a mage of knowledge, grace, and strength, he was smart, understanding, wise, and valient he never let himself succumb to his power he kept his mind in check and love pure. He was well built, yet slim, his eyes were gold as the sun, his hair was dark as night. These two people met at war against a Common enemy, Lord Alrien. These two fell in love when Sir Valen shot a spell called "Sun's Arrow" . It's a powerful spell that can decimate anything it comes into contact with. Felia saw that she was enamored, in awe even, she had never seen this spell and knew that Sir Valen was hers. It was then that she decided to be at his side and fight with him, and at that moment the battlefield became a stage for them to dance in harmony and defeat Lord Alrien.

The battle was intense, unlike any battle ever recorded in history. The ground became red with blood, the air carried a stench of decay and Death, Felia and Sir Valen knew they had won the war but at what cost, thousands dead, hundreds injured, and some with no will to fight. It was brutal and disastrous, it came to be known as "The Red Battle" war, at its end Felia and Sir Valen saw each other, their eyes met, they felt a spark of something truly magical, a type of magic called Love, ancient and mysterious. Once they felt that spark they went to each other and spoke, after the war they became close almost as one even, they laughed, they cried, they fought, but they never stopped loving each other. Eventually they got married and had a child called Edmund their son. Edmund was born on a night full of stars and beauty, where the moon shined as bright as the sun.

Edmund has his mothers eyes, a perfect shade of blue like a crystal, and his hair was a combination of his mothers hair and his fathers, it was black with shades of orange like flame at night. That night he was born everything changed, his fate twined to ancient prophecy, one that states, "ON A NIGHT FULL OF GRACE THE WORLD WILL CHANGE, A BOY WITH GREAT POWER A HERO That IS DIRE, THIS BOY SHALL FIGHT THE EVIL, BRING PEACE ACROSS THE LAND".

That prophecy was known all over the world and Aligrey was the center of the prophecy, Sir Valen did not want his son to be burdened by this. So he set out to stop this ancient evil and protect it. He went with other Warriors But he never came back . There was one survivor of his party who brought back his blood stained wand. Once Felia saw this her world crumbled and she did not know what to do, the only thing she did know was to protect and show Edmund the way, a way that is pure, loving, patient, wisdom and strength. She would do her best, she would show Edmund what a person is, what humanity truly is, Unity. Sadly, she wasn't able to do it for long. The evil that Sir Valen set out to stop and took his life, was out in the world.

The evil that came to the world decided to make Aligreys Mountain called Mount O'Grey its land where the Catastrophic will reign over the Aligrey. This evil called Catastrophic summoned their own kind. With their summoned allies they began to conquer most of the island until it fell. The island once so beautiful and peaceful now is nothing more than a place of torment and carnage. The Catastrophic decided to get followers, since they themselves had no physical bodies of their own, so they used Warriors or regular people as vessel bounds. A lot of Warriors choose power over the lives they once fought for, protected and loved. Felia seeing this decided to take arms once more and protect the island and the world, she fought bravely while keeping Edmund safe. Until Edmunds 5th birthday, where she had to make the ultimate choice, the only thing she could and only do. Felia saw Edmunds potential in both magic and aura, a rare combination and one that is undoubtedly the most potentially important power that can fight against the Catastrophic. Felia knew that the Catastrophic would target Edmund first, to either take his body or kill him. Felia would never allow such evil to take Edmund from her, so she decided to go to the Catastrophic now known as Belerhria. Felia went Belerhia, and made a deal. Felia knew that Belerhia needed a strong and willful body. Knowing that she chose to give her body to Belerhia in order to keep Edmund safe. Before she left to meet Bererhia she made sure Edmund was hidden, where she spoke her last words, " Remember my son, Fear is just the predecessor to valor, i don't need you to think of what a hero is or isn't i need you to become who your meant to be" she said with tone so low and heartbroken, her face filled tears and stain Edmunds face. before she could leave. Edmund shouts, "mother how do i become you and father how can i be strong", he says yelling as if to tell Felia don't go stay, show me. Felia turned and said with a voice full of love and longing, "you already are strong? but I don't want you to be like me and your father. I want you to be better than both of us". With that being said she walked away and never came back.

Edmund being in the woods did not know where to go or to whom, he stayed and cried and cried. It wasn't until a guiding light appeared in front of him a light that shined brightly but gently as if to only be there for him in his hour of need. He followed the light, and it took him to the only village left standing in Aligrey, the village known as Khoakwa meaning "Kindness for all Kinds". Edmund now needs to survive, but how? How can he if doesn't know things or thinks he can, he's scared, alone doesn't know what to do. Edmund made a silent vow to save his mother and the island, the world everything, just like his mother and father would. His fate is far worse than death for he must fight for a world that may not want his help or will never trust him once they find out who his mother is, or what she did.
