Once I'd gotten inside the flat, I was greeted with a very relaxed-looking Jack. He was wearing his sweats, a T-shirt and he was barefoot. As soon as he saw me, his reaction was, " HOLY SHIT! WTF HAPPENED TO YOUR FACE?!" His face was covered in confusion. "Fucking Joe happened." I threw my hands up and made a bee-line for the couch. "That makes sense. So how was it?"
"Besides ending up looking like a sleep-deprived clown on drugs, it was fine!" Jack let out a small laugh." Well I think you still look gorgeous. Druggie clown or not, you're beautiful." Jack smirked at me. I was on the verge of squealing. "Oh! Thanks! Uhm, I'm gonna go get this off!" I ran to my room and had a solo-dance party.
Wait, where are Josh and Conor?
"JAAAAACK!!"
"WHAAAAAAT?" I chuckled at our weirdness. "Where are Conor and Josh?"
"Conor went out to a club with Josh and some of the boys. They won't be back for a while." I frowned. "And they didn't invite us?" Jack came into my bathroom and said,
"They invited me but I decided to stay here with you." I blushed.
"Why?"
"Because I didn't want you to be alone." I blushed bright red and looked away from his beautiful structured face.
"You look cute when you blush." Jack said as he touched my cheek and brought my sight back to his eyes. Our lips were only inches away when

I rolled my eyes and huffed.
"I should probably take this." I checked my phone, it was Sophie.
"Sophs! How's it going?" I was excited to talk to my sister but I was also disappointed that she called right then and there.
"Hey Mags! I came across a picture, that I really want you to see! I'll send it." I could picture Sophie smiling over the phone.
"Alright, bye Sophs." A minute later, I heard the beep of my phone. I opened the message from Sophie, it was our first family photo. I don't know what happened, but my breathing started to become rapid and my vision became blurry.
Not again, please God, I don't want this.
"JACK!"
Jacks POV
Damnit. Our moment, just like that. Gone.
"JACK!"
Oh shit, it was Maggie.
"MAGGIE! I'm coming!" I made a mad dash for her room and found her on the bed shaking and sobbing. Her breathing was going a mile a minute. "Maggie? Can you hear me? Breathe, in and out, in and out. It's okay, I'm right here." Slowly, she started relaxing and she sat back.
"Are you okay now?" I was starting to shake.
"I-I'm okay." I gave her a weak smile. When she sat back up I asked,
"What exactly just happened if I may ask?" She let out a small laugh.
"Well, when I was younger I had depression and anxiety which caused panic attacks. What you just witnessed was a panic attack." She sounded so calm when she told me this.
"Oh, I'm so sorry. I had no idea."
"It's okay Jack, it's not your fault." She sighed and crossed her legs.
"If you don't mind me asking, what happened for you to develop depression and anxiety?" I could tell I was treading on thin ice here, but I wanted to know.
Maggie's POV
Shit. I need to tell him. Fuck it, you only live once anyways.
Jack's POV
I could basically see from her expression if she wanted to tell me or not. She took an deep breath and told me the whole story. Everything about her parents, how she was left alone with her sister for years. This girl had gone through so much more than what I could've imagined.
"Oh for fucks sake! Here come the waterworks again!" She started to tear up, but I held her in my arms and stroked her hair.
Maggie's POV
Before I could say anything else, I was engulfed in a warm hug. Somehow, I felt safe in Jacks arms. Was I falling for this guy? The guy I only met today? YOLO BITCH!
Jack's POV
Once I let go of her, she looked much more calm than she was a few minutes ago, and I was glad. As we looked into each other's eyes, I went for it. I kissed her, and may I say, she was a very good kisser. Her lips were so soft.
Maggie's POV
Before I knew it, Jack had pressed his lips on mine. At first, I was taken aback, but then I gave into the kiss. I felt like I was on cloud 9. As much as I didn't want the kiss to end, I pulled away. As I did, I felt the urge to kiss him again. But, I wasn't just going to give in. As much as I wanted to, I couldn't give my heart away to a stranger.
Jack's POV
As Maggie pulled away, I realized my mistake. I shouldn't have been so forward with a girl I've only met today.
"I'm so sorry Maggie, I shouldn't have been so direct. I mean we've only just met today! I understand if yo-" I was cut short when she smashed her lips onto mine.
"Don't be sorry Jack, I needed that. I know we've only met today, but I can tell you're a special one Mr. Maynard." And with that she pranced out of her room. Damn, that girl is indescribable.
Maggie's POV
I decided to text Sophie about everything that's happened.
Mags😜: SOPHS!!! Ya know about Conor's brother Jack, and how I told you about him?
Sophs😚: yea? What about him?
Mags😜: Well, we just kissed. I know I've had a lot of heartbreak in the past, but I'm willing to risk it for this guy.
Sophs😚: Way to go! But, you just met him.
Mags😜: Well yeaa but, it feels so right!
Sophs😚: Well, just, follow your heart. Just don't get hurt okay?
Mags😜: I won't, love you. xx
Sophs😚: love you too. xx
Maggie's POV
I smiled at my sister, she always looked out for me. She'd make an amazing mother one day. I checked the time, it was only 5:26. Conor wouldn't be back for a while. I had some time to kill.
Jack's POV
I was in such a faze that I'd forgotten to film a video and what better way to film a collab with Maggie. "MAGGIE!"
"WHAD'YA WANT PRETTY BOY?" I started cracking up at the name she'd given me.
"I need to film a video for my channel and I was wondering if we could film a collab together." Her eyebrows shot up when I said the word 'together'. "Yea sure! What kind of video?"
"I was thinking about doing a truth or dare video."
"Oooh! I'm down." We both started to set everything up in my room. Once everything was ready, Maggie and I sat on my bed and I turned the camera on. "Hello everyone today, I'm joined with, the one, the only, Maggie!" As I motioned to her to introduce herself, she smiled and gave a small wave.
"Wow, such an introduction for a Youtuber with 18 million subs." I poked her in the side and she swatted my hand away.
"Oh piss off Jack! Hi I'm Maggie, also known as MaggieDoesStuff. Great name right?"
"There, that's much better. Alright, what are we doing today Maggie?"
"Well, I decided that I'd do Jacks makeu-" I shushed her before she could say anymore.
"First off, LIKE FUCK I'D LET YOU DO THAT, second, today we're doing a truth or dare. I tweeted you all to send me ideas, except, there's a twist!"
"Ooooh, tell me more, I'm so interested." This girl is so sarcastic.
"I will thank you very much. The twist is, if I dare you to do something, and you don't want to do it, there's a forfeit!" I smirked at the camera. "Yeah enough, let's get into this."
