Dark. Everything is dark. Anna thought as she stood in this dark empty room. Is it another dream of hers, another part of the puzzle that kept haunting her for more than 20 years of her life? She twisted in her place searching with every ounce of instinct she have, for an exit in some place here to find. Unfortunately, there was not.
Struggling to stand up, she looked around her in an attempt to find where she is now, because the last thing she remember is the fact that she went to bed after a long day of study, and waking up in this room like tomb is out of what she expected. Still she did not panic. She was not scared.
She simply stood there trying to find out where she was. I mean by now her mind simply got used to the unexplainable, bizarre dreams that have been her only companion in her life. Through her childhood, occasionally, she will wake up screaming from fear, first she thought she was hallucinating, mentally ill. Letter on, cocooned by her absolute terror, she confronted her parent with what she is going through, to be assured that it is normal to have nightmares, like everyone else.
And for a short time she believed it, as her mind believed her parent lies. However, there lies did not last. As the years went by she knew that something is wrong, that something is not normal with her nightmares, because not everyone's dream of the end of life, the end of the world with very specific details and emotions that an international and fames films director will not be able to reach the level of her visions. But lately her visions as she called, become regular, very tense, nearly every week if not daily in others.
A presence of someone near her pulled her out from her daze. She wasn't able to see, nevertheless her other senses were totally awake.
"Who is there, what do you want" she called out, although she was totally aware that no one will answer her like every time.
For years she screamed, begged fell to her knees, asking to be left alone, to have some answers to why she had this nightmare? When, will she finally get her goal she wondered?
"What do you want from me, just leave me alone." She begged. Again.
Voices rose from the depth of the darkness that surrounded her. Fading voices at first. But with every moving second, it became clearer and clearer. Like a passing hurricane, the words were blurry. She shook her head, moved around looking for someone.
Still the voices didn't abate. A new voice, feminine, this time arose from behind whispering into her ears.
"The evil soon will rise my dear and your blood shall be the key. You are the key. The key to hell."
Confusion swelled inside her, growing and intensifying with every second that passed by. Surely this take's insanity into a whole different level, she internally laughed.
"What now, what do you want from me, am sure this is all a big misunderstanding, am not who you think I am. Look am totally normal, see, and this." Waving with her hands around the space "is a mistake, my mind's mistake, you see am ill, my mind sees thing that isn't real, so sorry for the big disappointment. Now, I would like to go back to my bed, thank you very much."
"You still don't believe, even after all what we show you." A new one spoke with a bitter tone, just by her right, scarring her for a second. How many are there, she questioned.
Desperation rose within her, and all the patient that she was masking withdraw to the backyard of her mind. For a new will breached her conscience, the need to go home.
With an angry, furies determined look she eyed the darkness in front of her. Challenging, it to stand against her if it dared." What do you want?" she probed it.
And for that simple question, one answer was delivered.
"We want you to surrender." They said in unison. As if one voice they spoke, as if one person they were.
Yelling for a second time "we need you to surrender" as a faceless man appeared in front of her. With unanticipated movement, the fear, shock her to the core, her bones shock like a Leif. Since she dropped to the ground, screaming for whoever above to save her.
Her dreams never were as realistic as this before, she always feared them, feared what she will be seen in them, but never feared for her life. She has always been an observer, watching from afar, and never interfere. That was the rule that assured her safety, assured her soul that she will always come back home, back to her family and friends no matter how far she went. This time the golden rule had been broken. Her safety net had been torn, so what to do?
Lost, scared, terrified, angry, did I say lost? Our dear Anna was battling with all this emotion as she set trembling in the ground. Nothing was normal about her, she understood that, but what made her so special was a big mystery.
