"Ah!" Xaviera said, as she almost tripped, but she didn't fall. She felt a heavy force hold her back, and as she turned, she saw a pretty lady looking at her with those eyes which meant sorry.
"I'm sorry." The lady said meekly, but, she had a smirk on her face. Xaviera nodded her head and continued walking to her soon to be husband.
'I have never seen her before, she might be one of Ales' cousins.' Xaviera mumbled to herself.
As she walked, the piano played some hymns. Everyone's eyes were on her.
"OMG! She's so pretty." The men whispered amongst themselves.
Carlotta took her daughter's hand, and she sent her to the alter. Xaviera couldn't look at Sandro, she had her gaze pinned on the floor.
"Alessandro, I promise, she's your soulmate." Camerillo whispered to Sandro.
"May the hymn seize." Camerillo mumbled, and the pianist stopped playing the piano.
Camerillo started blessing the couples, then, he started saying the vows; as Sandro and Xaviera repeated after him hesitantly. Xaviera and Sandro knelt before him, as they took the vows.
It was time to exchange rings.
Sandro removed the rings that Lucy had made from his pocket. He handed his to Xaviera and kept hers.
It was time for the groom to kiss his bride; something that was gonna take years, and to send butterflies into Xaviera's stomach.
"May the groom kiss his bride." Camerillo announced.
Xaviera was tensed. It wasn't her first time kissing a man, she did it couple of times with Antonio.
Sandro turned, as he watched the crowd.
"Come on, don't be shy. Kiss her man." The men said in unison.
Sandro turned and looked at Xaviera, he raised her shoal (/veil).
He glared at her and hissed along. Xaviera couldn't argue here, could she?
Sandro did it, he kissed her. Which made Xaviera's body cold. It didn't feel like how she felt when Antonio kissed her.
She was cold that she felt sick at that moment.
The crowd clapped, as the men cheered for their brother.
"Any words to your wife? And any words to your husband?" Camerillo asked them.
Xaviera shook her head, but Sandro nodded a 'yes.'
"I'd always try my best to make her feel like she married me, and only me. She'd be mine, only mine. If any man stares at her, I'd create a hole in his chest. She'd always be by my side, anywhere I go. She'd be my possession. And I swear, I'd kill anyone who tries to take her away from me. This is the least I can say. But, I have a lot of things to say to her. Happy wedding, wife." Sandro mumbled to her. Xaviera was the only one who understood. Sandro used 'her' instead of 'You.' Which meant that he wasn't referring to Xaviera but another person; Violeta of course.
"Aww!" The crowd exclaimed in happiness.
Everything was done. The most important part of the wedding had been performed, it was now time for them to go home and celebrate.
Sandro and Xaviera hugged each other, and they left the Church.
They were made to sit in the same car.
"I'd drive." Sandro told everyone. He snatched the keys and he made Xaviera enter the car; at the passenger side.
He drove off, leaving everyone puzzled.
The newly married couples were supposed to be driven in the same car, by their driver. But Sandro insisted to drive.
He had his own intentions, to intimidate Xaviera in the car.
"Did you see Violeta?" Sandro asked her.
"She wasn't there." Xaviera mumbled.
"Have you met her before? She was there, directly behind you the time you walked over to me. I'm shocked she didn't create a scene. She could have done something to you." Sandro said.
Xaviera casted her mind back at the Church. She remembered someone stepped on her dress, and she was almost embarrassed; she almost fell.
"I remember someone almost made me fall. I'm sure she was the one." Xaviera mumbled.
"Mhm, she's pretty, isn't she?" Sandro asked. Xaviera fidgeted with her fingers as she said, "Yes she is."
"Thank God you know." Sandro scoffed.
