The crowd started making way for the cops.
"What's going on here?" One of the cops said. He had a name tag on his uniform; Yashel Melendez.
The fight didn't seize, it was worst than before. The two young men didn't know what they got themselves into? Did they?
Or they just decided to ignore the fact that they were going to be locked behind bars for fighting in public; shamelessly.
Antonio tore Sandro's shirt, and Sandro did same. They were both left with their white chests.
The cops separated them, but it was very difficult.
Why were they even fighting? Because of a lady or because they were business rivals? Or maybe because of the insults?
Three cops were holding Sandro by his arms, and the other two were holding Antonio.
"It hasn't ended, okay?" Antonio yelled.
"Tsw!" Sandro hissed loudly, as his little lips pouted.
"Okay, young men, you'd have to follow us to the station. You'd be asked a couple of questions. You're lucky no one died." Yashel Melendez said.
The two sweating men were taken into the cops' car.
"Who are you to them?" Melendez asked Xaviera.
What was she going to say now?
Antonio's girlfriend or Sandro's prospective wife?
"I know them both. I came with Sandro." She mumbled.
Melendez mumbled and asked her to follow him to the car. She sat in the passenger side, as Sandro and Antonio were at the back, along with some other two cops.
They drove them to the police station, to settle the case.
When they reached, Sandro and Antonio were taken in respectfully. They were respected because they were both very powerful, and if the cops tried anything stupid on them, they (the cops) would lose their jobs.
"What happened?" Yashel Melendez asked.
"Isn't it this butt hole? He called me names!" Sandro yelled, as he pointed his index finger at Antonio.
"Hmm, you just need a breath taken slap!" Antonio winced.
"Okay okay." The cop said.
"Ma'am, you were the witness, what really happened?" Melendez asked Xaviera. She cleared her throat and started ranting,
"We were on our way home, Sandro and I, when we met my boyfriend, Antonio. I got down from the car to greet my boyfriend because I missed him a lot. Sandro also came down, and he and Antonio got into a little argument." She narrated, leaving out a lot of things.
"Oh okay. So who then is Sandro to you?" Melendez asked again.
"I don't think I should be telling you that, I'm sorry." Xaviera replied.
Melendez nodded his head and went straight to the street fighters.
"So, I thought it was something serious. You'd need to pay this amount in other to be freed, it's your bail." Melendez handed over a well printed paper to Antonio and Sandro. They both peeped inside it.
"Do you take credit cards?" Sandro asked.
"Yes." Melendez replied.
Sandro took out a credit card from his wallet, which was in his back pocket.
He paid the money, for both of them and got up to leave.
Sandro and Antonio signed some papers.
"Where is my car?" Sandro asked.
"It's outside, along with Antonio's. Here are your keys." Melendez handed some keys to Sandro.
The police nurses cleaned up the blood on both Sandro and Antonio's body. They looked like they weren't hurt at all.
Sandro took Xaviera by the arm and they both walked out.
"Bibs, I love you." Antonio yelled as he followed them out.
Xaviera ran as she hugged him, and told him what she wanted to say.
Sandro pulled her into the car and drove home.
•••••••••20 minutes later ••••••••
They were home, and they both walked inside the mansion.
"Oh, here they come." Rafaela told everyone.
"Why are you almost naked?" Rosetta asked Alessandro.
What was going to be the excuse now? That Sandro fought?
"I just decided to take off my shirt, I was feeling hot." Sandro lied.
Everyone giggled.
Sandro pulled Xaviera upstairs.
