However, Kaguya Ōtsutsuki believed Asahi when he said that the Ninja World had changed so much that even she wouldn't come out unscathed.
Asahi had mentioned before that he had lived in the Ninja World for many years, and Kaguya had no reason to doubt his words about the current state of the world.
"As for Hagoromo and Hamura Ōtsutsuki, they died a thousand years ago."
"They didn't have your luck; they couldn't break through the limitations of this world and enter a transcendent state."
"They slowly turned to dust. Although you can't see Hamura, you can still meet Hagoromo. Before his death, Hagoromo took a different path."
"Using a flaw in the collapsing rules of the Ninja World, he fused his soul with the world, preserving his consciousness."
"As for your will avatar, Black Zetsu, I killed him a few years ago."
Hearing Asahi's words, Kaguya fell into a deeper silence, her eyes occasionally flashing with sadness.
Being sealed, she was unaware of the passage of time, and it never occurred to her that she had been sealed for a thousand years.
Her two sons had long since turned to dust. Although Hagoromo's consciousness still existed, it was no different from death—only his soul remained in a different form.
As for Black Zetsu's death, Kaguya felt no sorrow.
Although Black Zetsu was filial, much more so than Hagoromo and Hamura, he was merely her will avatar, a tool created to free her.
Now that she was free, Black Zetsu's existence didn't matter much. When Black Zetsu was created, Kaguya had already been sealed.
She had no time with Black Zetsu, unlike her deep connection with Hagoromo and Hamura, whom she had raised from birth.
Her sadness was solely for her sons' deaths. Asahi noticed the sorrow in her eyes but didn't realize that Black Zetsu's death didn't affect her.
Kaguya's silence didn't last long. She turned slightly, looking at the distant blue planet, and said wearily,
"In that case, I haven't decided what to do next. But if Hagoromo's consciousness still exists, I'd like to see him."
Asahi nodded gently and said, "That sounds like a good idea. After you see Hagoromo, you could travel around the Ninja World."
"It's quite a place now. I recently broke through the world's barrier; if the Ōtsutsuki clan's strong members sense it, they should come soon."
"I'll help you deal with them then." Hearing Asahi's words, Kaguya opened her mouth slightly.
Upon hearing of the deaths of Hagoromo and Hamura, Kaguya Ōtsutsuki had the idea of leaving this world.
With nothing to hold her back, escaping seemed appealing. However, Asahi's words made her reconsider, not wanting to appear weak in his eyes.
Seeing Kaguya hesitate to speak, Asahi paid no mind and drifted leisurely toward the Ninja World.
Kaguya quickly followed, leaving behind the lonely, unused moon sealed by Asahi.
The distance from the moon to the Ninja World was vast, but for Asahi and Kaguya, who had reached the pinnacle of strength in the Ninja World, it posed no problem.
In no time, they descended onto the earth of the Ninja World.
Because Hagoromo had merged with the world, Kaguya immediately sensed his chakra upon entering the Ninja World.
She released a slight energy wave, instantly waking the dormant Hagoromo.
Since merging with the world, Hagoromo had spent most of his time in slumber, significantly as the Ogami Clan grew more assertive.
Today, however, he sensed his mother, Kaguya's, presence. At first, he thought he was mistaken—there was no reason for Kaguya to break the seal.
He rechecked, and although he couldn't discern the details, he felt Kaguya's presence. This realization left him shocked.
Kaguya was beyond the Six Paths level. If she returned to the Ninja World, who could stop her? The Ogami Clan?
Though Asahi was powerful and the Ogami Clan had many strong members, against a transcendent being, even a group of Six Paths level fighters would be ineffective.
Would they have to rely on Kaguya's emotions and use underhanded tactics again?
Due to Asahi's barrier and Hagoromo's constant slumber, he was unaware of Asahi's breakthrough.
His thoughts were consumed with whether he needed his sons' reincarnations, Indra and Ashura, to seal Kaguya again.
Despite knowing they couldn't match Kaguya, he hoped their chakra presence might cause Kaguya to let her guard down and be sealed.
However, Indra and Ashura's reincarnations hadn't undergone training—was there enough time?
Hagoromo was troubled, filled with both conflict and worry. After much contemplation, he saw no better solution.
Now, it seemed his only option was to proceed step by step.
With the Ogami Clan's warriors stalling for time, he hoped Indra and Ashura's reincarnations would succeed. Hagoromo sighed inwardly.
Though he knew his chances of success would be greater if he acted personally, Hagoromo was reluctant to do so.
He had already betrayed Kaguya Ōtsutsuki once before. The last time, he had been lucky enough to seal her due to her moment of leniency.
This time, no matter what, he didn't want to betray and hurt his mother again personally.
So, Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki had already decided to leave the future of the Ninja World in the hands of his sons' reincarnations.
No matter the outcome, even if the world were to be destroyed, he wouldn't intervene.
Steeling his resolve, just as Kaguya was about to seek out the reincarnations of Indra and Asura, Sasuke, and Naruto, a divine thought echoed in his mind.
"No need to worry, there's no danger. Kaguya just wants to see you."
This message left Hagoromo stunned. It was Asahi who had sent this telepathic message to him.
When Kaguya released her energy wave, Asahi immediately understood her intent.
Though Kaguya seemed talkative with Asahi, it was only because she had been repressed for so long.
Usually, she was a person of few words, even with her children. Otherwise, she wouldn't have had such a hard time explaining things to them back then.
Now, although she wanted to see Hagoromo, she didn't know how to initiate the conversation.
Hence, she released her aura, hoping Hagoromo would come to her. Asahi could easily guess Hagoromo's concerns.
Dragging things out would only cause more problems, so Asahi decided to step in and help.
Even though Hagoromo had merged with the natural order and become almost ethereal, for Asahi, who had broken through the limitations of the Naruto universe, this posed no difficulty.
A quick search with his divine sense easily located Hagoromo. Kaguya could have done this, too, but she hadn't figured out how to face her child yet.
Asahi's intervention wasn't purely altruistic; he also wanted to help Kaguya and Hagoromo reconcile.
Upon receiving Asahi's message, though confused, Hagoromo stopped his actions. He trusted Asahi despite not fully understanding the situation.
After a moment of hesitation, Hagoromo appeared beside Kaguya.
Seeing Hagoromo suddenly beside her, Kaguya couldn't help but reach out with both hands but quickly retracted them.
Despite Hagoromo's tall, upright figure, his aged appearance was evident.
Standing next to Kaguya, they looked more like father and daughter than mother and son.
Noticing Kaguya's hesitant gesture, Hagoromo felt a pang of guilt and regret. The thousand-year-old sage could easily see the worries in Kaguya's heart.
As a mother, Kaguya was excited to see her child but also feared being resented by him.
Back then, Hagoromo and Hamura had fought her to the brink of exhaustion. This made Kaguya anxious.
Seeing the two hesitating like this, Asahi couldn't help but feel a headache coming on.
Despite being ancient beings who had lived for a thousand years, they acted like characters in a drama.
Asahi sighed and spoke directly, "You two should have a good talk."
"Kaguya won't be causing any trouble for the Ninja World now, so there's no need for this tension."
"I'll head back to the clan to handle some matters." Without waiting for a response, Asahi vanished on the spot.
Watching Asahi disappear, Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki felt a sense of relief at his words.
As long as Kaguya Ōtsutsuki didn't intend to destroy the Ninja World, there would be no conflict between them.
Gratitude flashed in Hagoromo's eyes as he turned back to Kaguya. Finally, he could seek his mother's forgiveness.
Without hesitation, Hagoromo knelt on the ground.
"Mother, I'm sorry. Please forgive me!" His swift action caught even Kaguya off guard, especially since her mind was in turmoil.
She hadn't expected their reunion to unfold like this. Seeing Hagoromo's actions, Kaguya's mind went blank for a moment.
However, she quickly regained her composure.
Tears welled up in her eyes as she reached out to help Hagoromo up, only to realize that she couldn't physically touch him.
It was then she remembered Asahi's words: Hagoromo had died and only lived on by merging his soul with the world of the Ninja World.
Tears streamed down her face uncontrollably. Being treated like an enemy by her child was something Kaguya couldn't help but resent.
But all her resentment vanished the moment Hagoromo knelt. In that instant, she was simply a lonely mother who had lost her child.
Seeing his mother cry, Hagoromo quickly got up to comfort her. This touching scene of mother and son eased much of Kaguya's sorrow.
They talked for a long time, mainly while Hagoromo was speaking and Kaguya was listening.
Although Kaguya had lived longer, her communication skills were far inferior to Hagoromo's.
Naturally, Hagoromo asked many questions about the past. In his younger years, he had impulsively concluded.
After living for so many years, Hagoromo realized there must have been hidden reasons behind her actions.
Previously, he couldn't bring himself to release Kaguya to ask her because of her intent to destroy the Ninja World and reclaim the chakra.
The situation had been resolved, and Hagoromo wanted to understand the truth.
Kaguya did not hide anything; she told Hagoromo about her origins, the pursuit by the Ōtsutsuki clan, and the terrifying power of their clan.
