At this point, besides Asahi and Toneri, there was no one left alive on the moon, except for Kaguya Ōtsutsuki.

The various techniques accumulated by the Ōtsutsuki clan over a thousand years might be considered valuable treasures to the great ninja villages in the Shinobi world.

However, to Asahi, they were less valuable than a single herb.

The Ōtsutsuki clan on the resource-poor moon lacked material resources rather than training techniques.

Therefore, after a quick survey, Asahi concluded that there was nothing worth taking from the Ōtsutsuki clan.

Scanning the core of the moon where Kaguya Ōtsutsuki was sealed, Asahi sensed a chakra presence that surpassed his own in both quantity and quality.

However, due to the barrier of the seal, he couldn't see Kaguya's true form.

Asahi didn't mind this; after all, this seal was a genuine Six Paths level barrier, capable of containing a transcendent being.

Disregarding it would undermine Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki's efforts. Moreover, now wasn't the time to release Kaguya.

Kaguya, despite her immense strength, chose to create an army of White Zetsu, which was ineffective against the Ōtsutsuki clan.

Asahi didn't believe that releasing her would result in gratitude and obedience. Since he couldn't defeat her, releasing her could backfire.

Asahi decided to wait until he had grown stronger before freeing Kaguya to get the answers he sought.

Without further delay, Asahi picked up the sleeping Toneri and instantly left the moon.

Moments later, Asahi, carrying Toneri, appeared in the Outer Disciple Area on the remote island of Ogami in the far north of the Shinobi world.

Ogami Island was bustling with activity, reflecting the turmoil across the Shinobi world due to recent events.

The unprecedented power Asahi displayed had left everyone in awe.

Thus, every corner of the Shinobi world buzzed with discussions about his performance.

The disciples of the Ogami Clan were no exception, fervently debating their leader's extraordinary strength.

Consequently, no one was training, and Asahi's appearance immediately drew everyone's attention.

The instant he appeared, the lively discussions ceased abruptly.

Excitement filled the eyes of everyone present as they turned to look at Asahi, but their attention quickly shifted to the child in his arms.

Why had Asahi returned with a child?

Curiosity and confusion were evident on their faces, and some bold individuals even considered asking about it.

However, Asahi, not wanting Toneri's identity to be revealed, gestured for everyone to remain silent.

Seeing Asahi's expression, the disciples of the Ogami Clan wisely kept silent. Asahi found an empty room and carried Toneri inside.

After laying Toneri on the bed, Asahi gently tapped his forehead, causing the already nearly awake Toneri to fall into an even deeper sleep.

As Toneri slept, Asahi's hands began to glow with a greenish chakra.

A surge of life energy emanated from the room, drawing the attention of those outside, who could only speculate about what Asahi was doing.

As Asahi continued to channel his energy, converting it into life-infused yang chakra, Toneri felt as though he was returning to the womb.

Despite the similar chaotic sensation, his body felt vastly different.

Gradually, as Asahi infused more energy, Toneri's previously sunken eyelids began to fill out.

With a deep exhale, the chakra glows around Asahi's hands and fades away. He knew Toneri had grown new eyes.

Although the process of remedying such a congenital defect was taxing, Asahi chose this path instead of transplanting ordinary eyes.

For Toneri, having his own Byakugan would enable him to achieve far more than ordinary eyes ever could.

Asahi had assessed Toneri's potential and believed that with effort, Toneri could awaken the Tenseigan and reach the Six Paths level.

After completing this task, Asahi stepped out of the room.

Seeing the disciples still waiting outside, he nodded to them and then addressed one of them, saying,

"When the child inside wakes up, bring him to the main hall to see me."

The chosen disciple quickly nodded and agreed to Asahi's instructions.

Without further delay, Asahi disappeared from the spot, reappearing in the central hall.

Using his spiritual sense, he detected that Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki were in the Ogami Clan.

He immediately summoned them to the central hall, as he had plans for Toneri.

Asahi's plan for Toneri was straightforward: he would send him to Konoha to grow up.

While Ogami Clan could provide training, its small population and lack of peers Toneri's age would not benefit his development.

Moreover, Toneri's father, Ōtsutsuki Asahi, wanted Toneri to see the beauty of the world. Thus, it was logical and fitting to place Toneri in Konoha.

If Toneri wished to join the Ogami Clan later, he could do so during the entrance ceremony in seven years, when he would be the appropriate age.

As for placing Toneri in Konoha, it was not Asahi's intention to gift the village a future powerhouse.

Given Toneri's pure white eyes, living among the Hyuga clan in Konoha would not make him stand out too much.

Responding to Asahi's summons, Minato and Kushina soon arrived at the central hall.

Asahi explained the situation to them without hesitation, including Toneri's lineage.

He wanted to keep Toneri's background from becoming widely known, understanding that such knowledge could hinder a child's growth.

However, it didn't matter if a few people knew about Toneri's background.

After all, since Toneri was going to live in Konoha for a long time, his origins would inevitably be investigated.

Even though, with Asahi's status, nothing would be questioned if he chose not to disclose anything.

After hearing Asahi's explanation, Minato and Kushina felt a deep sense of pity for Toneri.

As parents themselves, they were moved by Toneri's tragic fate.

Their parental instincts were immediately stirred, and seeing that this arrangement would only benefit Konoha, Minato, as the Hokage, readily agreed.

He wasn't worried about Toneri following the path of the Ōtsutsuki clan on the moon.

It was almost humorous to think that Konoha couldn't guide a child towards a positive and healthy upbringing.

"Don't worry, I'll take good care of Toneri," Minato assured, patting his chest.

Asahi nodded gently in response. Soon, a disciple's request to enter was heard from outside the hall.

A quick sweep of his spiritual sense revealed that it was the disciple he had previously sent to fetch Toneri.

Asahi softly instructed them to come in, and his voice, though not loud, was clear enough for both the disciple and Toneri to hear.

The disciple and Toneri quickly entered the hall. Toneri now had a pair of pure white eyes, contrasting sharply with his previous appearance.

Following behind the Ogami disciple, Toneri looked around curiously but nervously at the unfamiliar surroundings.

The sudden ability to see made him fascinated by the colorful world, though his eyes occasionally reflected fear and sorrow.

Despite his young age, Toneri understood that his father was dead and that he no longer had any family in this world.

However, he didn't harbor much resentment towards Asahi. Even though he couldn't see before, he sensed that his father had taken his own life.

His father's final words clarified his motives, showing that Asahi was merely the one who defeated him.

Don't underestimate the understanding of children in the Naruto world, especially prodigies like Toneri.

Furthermore, Toneri knew that his new eyes were a gift from Asahi.

On the way here, he had constantly asked the Ogami disciple who brought him about Asahi.

Unfortunately, the Ogami members knew little about the specifics between Asahi and Toneri.

During the journey, Toneri only managed to gather basic information about the Ogami and a general understanding of Asahi.

The disciple who brought Toneri into the hall quickly realized the presence of Minato and Kushina, and with one look at Toneri's distinctive white eyes, he quickly concocted a backstory in his mind.

Stories about an illegitimate child of the Hyuga clan left to fend for himself quickly filled his imagination.

Despite his vivid imagination, the disciple was smart enough to keep these thoughts to himself. After delivering Toneri, he respectfully withdrew.

Before leaving, he nodded to Toneri in a gesture of comfort, showing that he had taken a liking to the boy.

Nevertheless, Toneri couldn't relax, especially with Minato and Kushina looking at him with curiosity and concern.

Minato and Kushina certainly weren't some creepy strangers. They were merely examining the child they were about to bring back to their village.

Seeing Toneri so nervous, Kushina's maternal instincts immediately kicked in.

The Ōtsutsuki genes were indeed impressive, and Toneri had inherited them well, looking quite cute.

Moreover, with Toneri being around the same age as Naruto and having such a tragic background, Kushina found herself growing more and more fond of him.

Gently nudging Minato, Kushina whispered, "Minato, why don't we adopt this child? He could keep Naruto company."

Minato raised an eyebrow at Kushina's suggestion.

"But I was planning to send him to the Hyuga clan," he whispered back.

Originally, Minato intended to place Toneri with the Hyuga clan, as both the Ōtsutsuki and Hyuga clans shared the Byakugan, which would facilitate Toneri's upbringing.

However, did Kushina care about such details? Hardly.

"Why send him to the Hyuga clan? Do you think we can't raise him properly?" Kushina shrugged, looking at Minato.

Minato sighed, seeing the logic in her words. Indeed, their guidance wouldn't be inferior to that of the Hyuga clan.

Plus, it would be nice for Naruto to have a companion.

As for teaching Toneri to use the Byakugan, Minato was confident he could get the necessary knowledge from the Hyuga clan.

It seemed the matter of Toneri's future was settled. However, there was one person whose expression was quite interesting—Asahi.

Though Minato and Kushina had spoken quietly, their conversation wasn't meant to be secret, so Asahi heard it.

If he remembered correctly, Toneri and Naruto were rivals in love, with Toneri's presence eventually leading to Naruto and Hinata getting together.

While this situation wouldn't happen now, who knew what kind of dynamic would develop between Naruto and Toneri?

Thus, if Minato and Kushina adopted Toneri, he and Naruto would become brothers in all but blood.

This scenario struck Asahi as rather odd. Nevertheless, he wouldn't interfere. Regardless of the path chosen, life promised to be interesting.

After Minato and Kushina finished their discussion, Asahi nodded slightly at Kushina.

Understanding that Asahi had heard their conversation, Kushina didn't hesitate and waved Toneri over.

Toneri looked at Asahi nervously. This was his first time seeing Asahi's face, but he remembered his aura.

Asahi was momentarily taken aback by Toneri's look.

It had been a long time since he had seen such an expression, and a strange feeling flickered in his heart.

Smiling, Asahi gently nodded at Toneri and said, "Go ahead."

Toneri, reassured, walked over to Kushina. Seeing how tense he was, Kushina affectionately ruffled his hair and gently comforted him.

Feeling the warmth emanating from Kushina, Toneri relaxed, and his face flushed.

This comforting warmth was something he had only felt from his mother when he was very young.
