Sending only the Uchiha clan's forces out is impossible.

Putting aside that the Uchiha aren't fools, even if you hold them in high regard, it's absurd to pit one clan against an entire village.

Anyone can see they're deliberately targeting the Uchiha. Besides, even if the Uchiha agreed to it, Hiruzen Sarutobi wouldn't allow it.

The Hidden Mist Village is one of the Five Great Shinobi Villages and home to one of the largest number of kekkei genkai Clan.

Plus, they excel in Water Release. If the Uchiha were left to face them alone, the war's outcome would heavily favor the Mist.

Considering the Fire Country's security, even if Hiruzen Sarutobi and Danzo Shimura were more inclined towards the Uchiha, they wouldn't make such a foolish decision.

So, after dispatching the Uchiha ninja forces to the Mist battlefield, Hiruzen ordered the Hyuga clan to send out a large number of elites, led by the current clan head, Hiashi Hyuga, to support the Mist.

Of course, there were also numerous ordinary ninja forming the ninja forces to resist the Mist. And Itachi Uchiha entered the Mist battlefield under these circumstances.

At this moment on the Mist battlefield, there was an eerie calm. Of course, it was only an illusion.

Just a few days ago, Konoha and the Mist clashed fiercely, but both sides understood that they were at a stalemate.

So, before preparing for the next attack, both sides were restraining themselves. Of course, there were still some minor movements from both sides.

For instance, the Hyuga clan head, Hiashi Hyuga, was personally leading a raiding party to destroy the Mist's supplies and teach them a lesson.

Normally, the head of the main branch like Hiashi shouldn't be involved in missions behind enemy lines.

After all, his Byakugan isn't sealed, so there's a risk of it being exposed if something goes wrong.

But there's no choice; the potential credit for this mission is immense. If successful, Konoha would gain a significant advantage in the Mist battlefield.

If they seize this opportunity well, Konoha could even defeat the Mist in one fell swoop.

Although Hiashi Hyuga is the head of the main branch, he still covets such a major achievement.

After all, if he wants to reach for the position of Hokage, he needs merits recognized by the entire village. Clearly, this mission is a golden opportunity.

Of course, this mission was only confirmed by Hiashi Hyuga after multiple infiltrations and thorough reconnaissance by members of the Hyuga clan ensured its safety.

Hiashi wasn't foolish; even if he disregarded his own safety, for the sake of his clan's interests, he couldn't risk putting himself in danger.

At the rear of the Hidden Mist forces, several figures were swiftly advancing. Among them, the most striking feature was that most possessed the Byakugan.

Of course, there were also a few Uchiha clan members carrying their distinctive fans.

Leading them was Hiashi Hyuga himself. Naturally, Hiashi was extremely displeased with these Uchiha infiltrators.

After all, it was his clan members who risked their lives to confirm the safety. It was infuriating to see the Uchiha clan benefiting from their efforts.

Unfortunately, his displeasure was futile.

The Hyuga clan lacked individuals capable of employing large-scale Fire Release techniques, making it challenging to inflict devastating damage on the enemy's supplies.

Moreover, the commander on the Mist side was an Uchiha clan head. Despite his frustration, Hiashi had to swallow his pride.

Suddenly, Hiashi, who was running at the forefront, gestured with his right hand. Instantly, all Leaf ninjas came to a halt.

Observing the scant few individuals before him, Hiashi steadied his mind and spoke,

"Just to confirm one last time, Kanzaki, you've confirmed the enemy's defenses are weak, right?"

"Yes!" Kanzaki, the Hyuga ninja queried by Hiashi, nodded firmly.

Kanzaki was the last Hyuga ninja to confirm the Mist's supply situation.

Based on his intel, combined with information from previous Hyuga scouts, this plan was formed.

"Excellent. According to the intel, we're about to reach the location where the Mist's supplies are stored. The destination will come within my observation range in about another mile."

"To avoid alerting the enemy prematurely, I'll handle the Byakugan surveillance alone when we get there. Understood, everyone?"

In response to Kanzaki's affirmation, Hiashi spoke softly.

His decision was spot-on; although the Mist's supply defenses weren't watertight, they still needed to proceed cautiously.

In the Hidden Mist's supply camp, there were definitely some formidable Mist shinobi stationed on guard.

The Hyuga ninja, could easily be detected by them while observing.

Therefore, assigning this reconnaissance mission to the strongest among them, Hiashi Hyuga, was only natural.

"Understood!" Everyone shouted in unison.

"Very well, let's go!" After speaking, Hiashi swung his hand heavily, and like an arrow leaving the bowstring, he dashed out.

He was prepared to complete this mission in the shortest time possible.

The team led by Hiashi also followed closely behind him.

Their movements were swift, except for Kanzaki, who had just been questioned by Hiashi, who lagged behind for a moment.

Touching the caged bird seal on his forehead, a complex emotion flickered in Kanzaki's eyes.

However, he quickly concealed it, and no one noticed any anomaly.

The speed of the Konoha group was rapid, and soon, the Mist camp came into Hiashi's observation range.

Without hesitation, Hiashi instantly activated his Byakugan. However, as the Byakugan activated, his whole body froze.

Because in his black-and-white vision, there was no sign of the supplies; instead, he discovered a large number of shinobi.

At that moment, Hiashi realized they had fallen into an ambush. The Mist's supplies had been secretly moved away long ago.

But how could the Mist act so swiftly when Kanzaki had just finished scouting yesterday?

For a moment, Hiashi couldn't understand what was happening.

However, he knew they couldn't afford to waste any more time.

He gestured, and everyone stopped once again. Facing their puzzled looks, Hiashi took a deep breath and said solemnly:

"Everyone, we've been tricked. The Mist has already spotted us. Our mission has failed. Retreat immediately!"

Hiashi's words were rapid, and without hesitation, he led the team away towards the distance.

However, all of this was sensed by the perception shinobi in the Mist camp in the distance.
