Asahi directly opened the door to his newly developed home. Shisui, Yugito, and Sakumo Hatake followed Asahi into the house.

Similar to the previous layout, they had lost interest went straight to their rooms.

Dinner had been eaten long ago, and Shisui and Yugito, upon returning to their rooms, immediately fell asleep. As for training, well, that could wait until tomorrow.

.....

The sun had barely risen on the second day when Asahi and his group officially set out for the Wind Country. This daily routine had become a long-standing habit.

Walking on the desert of the Land of Wind, feeling the soft sand beneath their feet, Asahi looked up at the sun hanging high in the sky.

The environment of the desert had already revealed itself, and even though the sun had just come out, Asahi could already feel the hot prelude.

He wondered if he could find someone to fleece in the Land of Wind.

As time passed, Asahi and his team ventured deep into the heart of the Land of Wind. "Master, look ahead, there's an oasis!"

Just when the group was starting to feel a bit fatigued by the desert scenery, Shisui suddenly exclaimed with excitement.

Following their gazes, a patch of green appeared in the distance. The appearance of the oasis lifted everyone's spirits.

Even Asahi was not an exception. As they quickened their pace, the full view of the oasis unfolded before them.

Although they hadn't reached it yet, they could already feel a refreshing breeze.

Shisui and Yugito couldn't control their excitement, intending to rush towards the oasis.

However, before they could act, Sakumo swiftly appeared in front of them. With a raised hand, Sakumo stopped the excited steps of Shisui and Yugito.

"Uncle Byakko, what's going on?"

Shisui and Yugito looked up in confusion, wondering about Sakumo's intentions. Sakumo didn't answer their question but squinted at Asahi.

"My Lord, you've sensed it, right?"

Sakumo believed that Asahi couldn't have missed something even though he had detected it.

As expected, Asahi nodded, looking in the direction of the oasis with curiosity. There, he sensed a not-insignificant chakra fluctuation.

Also, a faint sense of death. Death was mysterious, but when one's strength reached a certain level, one could still sense a different feeling.

Asahi carefully examined the oasis and then waved his hand, leading the group towards it. Sakumo didn't voice any objections, just a bit more cautious.

Even though that chakra wasn't weak, there was still a considerable gap compared to him. Moreover, there was a god-like Asahi in the team.

Being bold and daring, the current Asahi didn't care about the possible small fries hiding ahead.

Following behind Asahi, Shisui and Yugito couldn't help but become vigilant.

Based on the recent situation, there was some risk hidden within the oasis.

Even with Asahi and Sakumo by their side, the vigilance of a ninja couldn't be lost. They didn't want to undergo another special training session by Asahi.

As Asahi and the group set foot in the oasis, a series of air-breaking sounds followed.

Numerous senbon, like a dense rain, crazily shot toward Asahi and the others. Shisui and Yugito quickly pulled out kunai to defend themselves.

However, given their current strength, dealing with these was still a bit challenging, and Asahi was well aware of that.

So, without giving them a chance to take action, Asahi simply raised one hand.

As if those senbon suddenly fixed in the air, froze in place. As Asahi's arm descended, the senbon began falling to the ground one by one.

This was just Asahi's application of sealing jutsu. Through instantly activating the sealing jutsu, he formed a defensive barrier in the air to control and block the enemy's attacks.

As Asahi lowered his arm, the attention of everyone shifted from him to a figure not far away.

Crack!

A stooped figure slowly appeared before them. Covered in machinery, it was easy to see that this was a puppet of a Sand Puppeteer.

Shisui and Yugito looked around warily, trying to find the hiding place of the Puppeteer.

Sakumo silently observed; he had already figured out that the enemy was likely within this puppet.

As for Asahi, he squinted his eyes at the moment. The appearance of this ugly puppet seemed strangely familiar.

Even though it wasn't wearing the attire of the Akatsuki organization, Asahi could unmistakably recognize the features of Sasori's Hiruko puppet.

Asahi hadn't expected that on the first day in the Land of Wind, he would encounter such a prominent figure.

Sasori had quite the courage to remain in the Land of Wind after the fall of Suna.

However, considering that his grandmother was Chiyo, Asahi figured it out. The Hidden Sand Village probably hadn't issued a wanted notice for Sasori.

It was indeed advantageous to have different origins, resulting in different outcomes even in exile.

"You're quite strong. If possible, I believe you would make excellent material."

A hoarse voice emanated from within the Hiruko puppet. Sasori's attention was now fixed on Asahi.

Although he didn't have the confidence to defeat Asahi, he couldn't help but express his thoughts.

This was a kind of obsession that belonged to a genius. Of course, if he weren't a genius, it would be considered arrogance.

However, Sasori didn't think that Asahi could understand the meaning behind his words.

Upon hearing Sasori's words, everyone except Asahi was a bit bewildered, not quite grasping the meaning of "material."

Asahi, on the other hand, narrowed his eyes again. Honestly, he didn't like Sasori's personality and methods.

Although Sasori's personality and methods were formed later in life, and the real culprit was still around him (Sakumo), Asahi couldn't overlook his dislike for Sasori's character.

Regardless of the present or the future, Sasori was too obsessive.

"Are you provoking me?"

Asahi squinted his eyes, and his voice coldly echoed. Sasori didn't speak; he just gazed deeply at Asahi. He was calm and exceptionally patient.

Watching the fleeting danger in Asahi's eyes, though not clear on how Asahi understood the meaning behind his words, Sasori decided not to take any risks.

"Hehe, I was just complimenting your formidable strength."

Upon hearing Sasori's submissive words, Asahi suddenly understood how the Third Kazekage had silently died at the hands of Sasori.
