"Ms.Johnson you're not serious right now are you?" with a skeptical gaze towards Ms.Johnson, Laura couldn't help but question her idea.
For her whole life living at Grace Orphanage, Laura has dealt with the aftermaths of Ms.Johnsons crazy ideas due to her lack of planning and timely manner.
"Of course I'm serious! Don't you dare give me that look, I know you're questioning me right now and I don't appreciate it. Now if you don't get your butt up those stairs in the next five minutes I'll call back the crazy band of misfits to drag you back to your room."
Sending shivers down Laura's spine she immediately sprinted back up the stairs narrowly avoiding the toys cascaded across the steps.
Almost slipping on the tiny red car left a the top of the step, with a big slam of her bedroom door Laura running frantically around her room trying to find her suitcase.
"Ms.Johnson wheres the suit case!?" yelling downs stairs as she's frantically tossing her clothes to her bed to be shoved into her suit case.
"Its in the attic! By the way Laura your flight is booked and you're taking off in three hours. So you need to get ready and prepared to leave in less than an hour." With hearty laughter filling the orphanage, Ms.Johnson with a massive grin savoring her genius idea of getting Laura out of the orphanage.
"Why did you book it so soon!? I still need a passport, money and we have to drive there! Who will look after the kids!? Have you thought about any of this!" Yelling back down the stairs towards Ms.Johnson, she couldn't help but nervously run around from room to room desperately trying to find all her belongings.
"Darling, do you think I'm dumb enough to book you a flight to a different country if I wasn't prepared? I had your passport made a while ago and the money was donated from all the families you've tutored over the years." Still laughing down stairs and basking in her wonderful idea when she flashed a huge smile towards Laura who stood at the top of the stairs in shock.
"You did not..." In utter shock and surprise Laura could barely comprehend what she just heard from Ms.Johnson.
"Why did you ask them!" with clear displeasure in her voice the shock on her face still not leaving any time soon.
"Because darling they wanted to repay you for all the wonderful things you have done for their families. Besides they said it was a birthday present from them all, you can't just out right reject them that would just be plain rude!" A huge grin full of mischief looking up towards Laura who was clearly dissatisfied with her answer.
"They really didn't have to though..." not knowing wether to accept the wonderful gift and opportunity that was given to her, Laura couldn't help but stop to sit at the top of the stairs with a sigh slightly escaping her mouth.
As she sat their Laura thought back to all the memories she had made at Grace Orphanage, remembering all the other children who came in and out while she continued to grow up never leaving the orphanage for seventeen years.
"Are you sure this is alright?" with slight nervousness and uncertainty in her voice, glancing back at Ms.Johnson.
Laura suddenly started to form tears in her eyes because she came to realize how much she appreciated and loved Ms.Johnson for everything she's done for her over the years. Since the day she was left on the steps of the orphanage, Ms.Johnson took care of her and treated her like she was her daughter.
Thinking back to all the wonderful memories she had made with her and the rest of the children that came and went through her life, Laura started to weep not wanting to leave her only home so suddenly.
Walking back up the stairs and taking Laura back into her arms "Darling its finally time for you to leave this place now... I haven't watched you grow up for all these years just for you to waste away here with me. It's okay to be sad but remember that I will be a call away if you ever feel homesick."
Kissing Laura's head trying to sooth her, Ms.Johnson started to tear up as well due to her remembering all the times she has had with her for all these years.
*sigh* "Alright... I guess I'll go" tears still running down her rosy cheeks sniffling from all the crying she's done in the past two hours. Laura rose to her feet and headed towards the attic to retrieve her suit case.
"Its finally time to say goodbye to Grace Orphanage I suppose" looking back at Ms.Johnson with a soft smile she left towards her room with suit case in hand.
"Yes its fine time I suppose"
