*2 months later*
The Addams Family we're sitting in the living room. Lurch, as usual was playing g the harpsichord, mama was brewing up a potion of hers, Morticia was cutting up paper dolls, Gomez was practicing the zen yogi society's latest position, siting crisscrossed with his legs behind his head. Wednesday and Pugsley we're playing with their toys the brought from their rooms and Uncle Fester was playing chess with thing.
"Checkmate!" Uncle Fester exclaimed moving his chess piece to the wining space. Thing threw his chess piece on the floor and slammed his box lid down.
"Fine! Be a poor sport!" Uncle Fester exclaimed. Morticia and Gomez looked at each other and walked over to Thing's box.
"Thing, come now that wasn't very sporty of you!" Morticia exclaimed.
"Look, he's not even coming out of his box!" Uncle Fester exclaimed pointing at Thing'a box. Morticia knocked on Thing's box.
"Thing! Come out, you owe Uncle Fester an apology!" Morticia exclaimed. Thing still refused to come out.
"I'll deal with this." Gomez said. "Thing!" Thing refused to come out again.
"Thing, if you don't come out this minute I'm going to be very disappointed." Morticia said. With that being said Thing slowly came out of his box.
"Now was that nice?" Morticia asked. Thing put his thumb down to say the word no.
"Now I'm afraid you owe Uncle Fester and apology." Morticia said. Thing tapped around his box to say he was sorry.
"That's alright Thing! We all get a little unsportsmanlike once in a while." Uncle Fester said extending his hand for Thing to shake a s a truce.
"Say! Do you want to play again?" Uncle Fester asked. Thing tapped his box to say yes. "Good! Now let's get crackin'!"
Morticia and Gomez smiled as they made their way back to Morticia's chair. Morticia continued to cut the paper dolls she was cutting. When she was finished she showed them Gomez but as usual, the middle doll always came out with three legs. Morticia set her dolls in her lap in frustration.
"Why is it that every time I cut paper dolls the middle one always come out with three legs?" Morticia asked getting frustrated.
"Don't worry Querida, your projects are always so artistic!" Gomez exclaimed.
"Darling, you always know what to say." Morticia said patting Gomez cheek the way she knew he liked. Gomez began to kiss her hand but then the doorbell rang, sounding off its steamboat noise. (Which didn't distract Gomez.) Lurch answered the door. When he saw who was at the door he was pleasantly surprised.
"The Munsters." Lurch greeted smiling.
"Yes, we're here to visit the Addams'." Herman said.
"Follow me." Lurch said. Lurch led them into the living room. "The Munsters."
"Oh my what a nice surprise!" Morticia exclaimed happily walking up to hug Lily. Lily hugged Morticia back.
"We've missed you all." Lily said.
"We've missed you all too." Morticia said hugging Lily.
"Eddie!" Wednesday exclaimed running up to give him a hug. Eddie hugged back.
"Gee Wednesday, I sure missed playing with ya!" Eddie exclaimed.
"I missed playing with you too!" Wednesday exclaimed. Pugsley ran up to Eddie and gave him a hug.
"Why don't we go in the playroom and start playing!" Pugsley said. "Last one is a dead alligator!" The children raced to the playroom.
"This is still such a pleasant surprise!" Morticia said. "However did you find us?"
"Oh, grandpa has his ways." Lily said modestly.
"That's right, I do." Grandpa smiled.
"What ways exactly?" Gomez asked.
"Well, I used a crystal ball." Grandpa said. "What better wya than to find something you're looking for than to have a crystal ball!"
"Did somebody say crystal ball?" Mama asked.
"Well, yes, I did!" Grandpa exclaimed. "Do you like crystal balls?"
"Like them? I love telling fortunes with them! One time, I dressed up in a Gypsie get up and posed as Madam Bovary, but then I went to jail...." Mama trailed off. "But at least I got to do my favorite prison picture scene!"
"Dear mama, she just loves prison pictures." Morticia said. "She was very convincing too!"
"So convincing I even started to believe it." Gomez said as he smoked his cigar.
"If only I could do another one." Mama said.
"One day." Gomez said. Mama smiled.
"Grandpa, would you like me to show you how to wrestle an alligator? I can take him with one hand tied behind my back!" Mama said.
"Oh sure! I have nothing better to do." Grandpa said following mama out to the swamp.
"Mama don't wear that poor alligator out now!" Morticia called.
"If anything he'll wear me out!" Mama called back.
"I was just thinking." Gomez started. "How would you too like to learn how to fence?"
"Fence?" Lily and Herman asked in unison.
"Oh yes! You know, with swords." Morticia said.
"I for one would love to! Wouldn't you, Lily dear?" Herman asked.
"Oh yes!" Lily exclaimed.
"Well then, darling, could you please ring for lurch?" Morticia asked. Gomez tried to ring for Lurch with the noose shaped bell, but it didn't ring.
"Hmm, guess it's out of order." Gomez said before calling Thing out of his box and told him to ring the gong. Thing rang the gong and Lurch entered the living room.
"You rang?" Lurch asked.
"Yes, could you please grab our swords from Mrs. Addams and I's room?" Gomez asked.
"Yes, Mr. Addams." Lurch answered. Lurch got the swords from Gomez and Morticia's room and handed them their swords. Gomez taught Herman some quick moves with the wrist and hand.
Morticia taught Lily basic thrusts and poses. She also taught Lily how to fight with one hand behind her back.
"Lily you're a natural! Your one handed thrust is just marvelous!" Morticia exclaimed clapping her hands.
"Oh thank you!" Lily exclaimed. This is actually fun!"
The Munsters continued to sword fight and once they've had enough sword fighting they ate dinner together and talked about their likes and dislikes. Gomez brought up the time Mr. Thompson from across the street told Wednesday and Pugsley there were no such things as witches or Santa Clause.
"How dare he!" Marilyn exclaimed. "That's like saying vampires aren't real!"
"I am a vampire and so is Grandpa!" Lily exclaimed.
"It's true! I am the real Count Dracula!" Grandpa exclaimed proudly.
"You are?!" The Addams Family exclaimed in shock and happiness.
"I see I have some fans!" Grandpa exclaimed.
"We love vampires around here." Mama smiled at Grandpa. Grandpa smiled back.
"Well, the next time they tell Wednesday and Pugsley that there are no such things as witches, ghosts, or goblins, I'll set em' straight!" Herman exclaimed.
"Much appreciated Herman!" Gomez exclaimed.
"That's my Herman, always making things right." Lily said admiring her husband.
"Bug cookies and henbane on the rocks anyone?" Mama asked handing out the cookies and henbane to everyone. Everyone indulged in their drinks and treats.

Everyone knew they would miss one another very much when they went away back to their homes, but they always kept in touch by sending letters. The Munsters and the Adams's were so different but alike in a lot of ways, and they respected each other for that. Marilyn was the most different out of all of them on the outside, but on the inside, she was all Munster and had things in common with The Addams Family. On the inside, everyone was all Munster and Addams alike.
