HE/HEROINE AND MY VILLAINES

(WHAT?)

-DUKE RESIDENCE-

*Cathlen Chamber*

"Ha!"

'Ugh... I am tired...' Cathlen thought as she lay in her king-size bed, tired and exhausted from joining her Mother's shopping for five hours.

Knock

"Miss?" Angela called outside the door.

"Yes, come in," She responds, and Angela then went inside her room.

"Miss? Are you okay?" Angela asks, walk over to her and stand beside her bed.

"No, I am exhausted," Cathlen did not deny,

"Oh, I heard you and the duchess went shopping today," Angela reminded her,

'Ugh... why you bring that up again,' Cathlen thought, complaining.

"Uh, yes, we did," Cathlen reply, swinging her body to the right side of the bed, searching her comfortable position.

"Do you want me to massage you, Miss?" Angela asks,

"No, thank you. I'll be fine once I get proper rest," Cathlen respond,

"Okay, then. Do you need anything, Miss?"

"No, I'm good. I will take a rest for a bit,"

"Okay, I will leave you then, Miss," Angela responds, and Cathlen nods.

While Cathlen is taking a rest, someone is talking about her on the other side of the place.

-ASTROD KINGDOM-

*PRINCE ADAM CHAMBER*

"When I chase after Lady Cathlen. I lost her," Sir Ken mentions,

"What? But how?" Prince Adam asks in surprise.

"The way she runs is strange," Sir ken answers, speaking out his concern out to Prince Adam.

"What do you mean by strange?" Prince Adam asks, pissed off.

"She runs like an assassin,"

"Assassin?" Prince Adam asks, shocked.

'Come to think of it before she does use an assassin's way to fight us,' Prince Adam thought.

"And also one more thing, Your Highness,"

"What is it?"

"Earlier, when I was hiding at the gigantic tree, she recognizes my presence," Sir Ken mentions, and Prince Adam looks at him, shocked.

"What?..."

'What is going on?' Prince Adam doesn't know what to reply because he is confused about Cathlen character at the moment.

"Okay, go back to her now," Prince Adam demands as Sir Ken then vowed, kneeling, then stood up and leave the room.

"What are you hiding to me, Cathlen?" Prince Adam mumble, curious.

-MARQUIS RESIDENCE-

"Ha... I miss the young Miss," The whole servant's words.

"Yeah, me too,"

"When she is around, our workload gets lessen, but when she is not around, not only does our workload get tougher, but Butler Sebi also getting strict towards us," The maidservant complains.

"I agree, hay,"

"Hey, you all! Stop sighing and get back to work," Butler Sebi demands to all the servants who keep slacking off from their work.

*LORD MARTHUES OFFICE*

Knock

"Come in," Lord Marthen respond to the knock, and when the door opens, his wife showed then get inside the room.

"I heard a letter from Voldron land came an hour ago. Is it from our daughter Vendia?" Madam Rose asks, curious as she went over to her husband's desk.

"Yes," Lord Mathen answer.

"What did it say? Did they arrive safely?" Madam Rose asks, worried.

"Yes, they arrived safe, and according to her, she is having a great time with Aloit and Mary," Lord Marthen mentions.

"Oh, thank god. Did you reply to her letter already?"

"I was about to, but you bargain with your worried face again," Lord Marthen tease her wife a bit.

"Honey, stop teasing, please," Madam Rose respond, and Lord Marthen giggled a bit.

"Okay, do you want to write something for our daughter?"

"Yes, tell her to don't worry about us, and that get home after five days because the Queen's death anniversary party is coming up," Madam Rose reply.

"Oh, I almost forgot about that," Lord Marthen respond, surprised.

"Me too. Good thing Sebi ask me about that a minute ago on the way here,"

"Oh, that's good then. Do you have a dress to wear on that day?" Lord Marthen ask and Madam Rose gasp.

"No... I don't. Honey, I want to buy a new dress, can you accompany me?" Madam Rose ask,

"Sure, why not? I also want to buy a new suit for the part. But, wait, let me check this paper first, then we can go," Lord Marthen mentions, then Madam Rose nods as she sat down on the couch inside the room, waiting for Lord Marthen to finish some paper works. After two hours, Lord Marthen had done his works, and they then go out of town to buy a new dress and suit for the Late Queen party.

-TOWN-

"Oh, honey, stop for a while," Madam Rose halts themselves outside the Dress store as she looks through the store glass door with a frown expression.

"What? Why? What's inside?" Lord Marthen asks, clueless.

"The Duchess is inside with her daughter," Madam Rose mentions as Lord Marthen then holds her wife's right hand and walks away from the Dress store.

"Honey?" Madam Rose calls out to him, confused as, why they're running away from the Dress store.

"We should buy my suit first," Lord Marthen demands.

"But..." Madam Rose about to insist, but Lord Marthen grip into her right hand tight, and she shut up, not arguing any further.

"I understand," Madam Rose added as they continue walking to get inside their carriage and go towards the suit store.

*SUIT STORE*

"Dear, how do I look?" Lord Marthen showed himself to his wife, wearing a stylish suit.

"They're good," Madam Rose responds, sitting in the waiting area, not showing any interest as she thinks back on what happened an hour ago. Lord Marthen went over to her, then bend down in front of his wife.

"What are you thinking right now?" Lord Marthen ask,

"Who made your day bad today?" Lord Marthen added as he smiles. Madam Rose locks eyes with him as she deep sighs, then held her husband's cheeks with both hands.

"No one, I remembered your daughter for a while. I wish she is here right now shopping with us," Madam Rose respond,

"Awe, don't worry. When our daughter comes back home, I promise to spend time with you both to go shopping and have fun in town, okay?" Lord Marthen swore.

"For real?" Madam Rose asks, shocked.

"Yes, for real," Lord Marthen answers, and Madam Rose cheered up then squeals with happiness.

"Hahaha, for a second there, I thought you were thinking of the Duchess and her daughter," Lord Marthen mentions, and Madam Rose looks at him with a poker face.

"Why should I care about them?" Madam Rose asks with the same expression.

"Hahaha, yeah, right? Why should you care? Hahaha," Lord Marthen responds, laughing at his wife's words.

"Come on, hurry, change, that suit," Madam Rose pushing Lord Marthen away from her.

"What? Why?" Lord Marthen asks, confused.

"I hate it. The design is cheap, and it does not show your figure," Madam Rose's honest reply and felt stunned by his wife's words.

"Ah!" The store owner felt triggered by Madam Rose's words.

"Ja! Hahaha ha," Lord Marthen laugh.

"Stop laughing and go change," Madam Rose's force demands.

"Hahaha, okay, I will go now," Lord Marthen respond, felt astonished by his wife.

The sunset fasts and another day rises once again. The next day at the Marquis residence, silence filled in the air onto their mansions for the person who causes a riot, and heavy sounds left their territory for five days.

To be continued.
