It was a typical day at Karasuno High School. Students were chatting with each other, the weather was nice and a wild goose chase scene was going on, in the second year's hall.
Oh, chase scene? Don't worry, that is a normal thing, here at Karasuno. At least for the ones who were used to it. There were still some who had to get used to it though. Even after last year. Although, most people had gotten over it after the first several times.
What is going on you ask? Well my dear friend, it is a very funny story.
A second year student, by the name of {L/n} {F/n}, was trying to escape his history teacher. That is not all, the teacher was soaking wet and looked completely pissed off, while {F/n} was running away with his papers and grinning to himself with a small chuckle.
Most of the other students turned to look, some were just watching, feeling annoyed or some couldn't help but chuckle a bit at this. It always took a lot to piss this teacher off, but {F/n} had always managed to be able to do this with ease.
He quickly took a turn and jumped down the stairs to the first year's hall. He never lost his pace and kept running through the fellow students, while hearing the teacher shouting his name.
The students stood shocked, but some laughed a bit and gave their upperclassmen and high fived him as he ran. His {h/c} hair blew freely in the air, as he let a small smile out on his lips.
After what seemed like twenty minutes or so, {F/n} had managed to lose the 'crazy' sensei, after he had gone to the first year's floor. He had lost the teacher in the youngest halls, so there would be some time before they figured out he was not there anymore. Now he was making his way to the third years hall to access the roof.
He quietly panted for a bit, before calming down and heading up to the roof. He went there seeing as all the others had gone to their classes again. Meh, he was used to skipping a lot. It wasn't anything new for them anyway.
Also, he had something he should do up there. They would probably be up there too. He held the papers that he had stolen, behind his back, before opening the doors to the roof and walking out to see the person he was expecting.
A male with dark brown hair, blue eyes, and in his black school uniform, was standing there, waiting. When he heard the doors open, he turned around with a small nervous smile, watching as the male came closer to him.
"Hey, Yagami-san. Got that test and the answers back that you wanted." {F/n} said with a small grin and pulled them out, watching as his classmate was shaking slightly and took the papers that were given to him.
"Th-thanks again {L/n}-san... H-here, I got you this as a thanks..." The second year said, handing him something that was in a bag labeled as 'Animate' on the outside. It made the taller of the two's grin widen more as he took it and looked down into it.
"Sweet, thanks man." He said, walking around the shorter and leaning down, giving him a quiet whisper, as he placed his hands on his back. "You better head to class, wouldn't want sensei to be mad, now would we~"
Before Yagami could reply, he was pushed out of the door, with a blushing face. He heard the doors close behind him and he gave a small glance, before turning back and running to his class.
The second year's smile faded slowly, before he walked over to the railing and looked down at the ground. He felt how the soft wind blew through his messy hair. How the only thing that could be heard was the birds, mostly crows chirped sometimes and how peaceful it actually could be in this world.
Too boring.
Slowly, a smirk made its way onto his lips as he pulled out something shiny. It was a pair of silver keys, which was normally only supposed to be used by club members or teachers.
Which club? The volleyball club, of course!
It wasn't the only thing he had that wasn't his. Believe me when I say that. You wouldn't want to know what else that boy had taken with him on his many small 'missions.'
{F/n} looked at his watch, seeing as there was still some time left before classes were over. So, he decided that he could just toy around with the new things he got: a keychain with one of his favorite characters, Izaya Orihara* and a manga called '20 Century Boys*'.
Good choices. He walked over to a wall and sat down, with it against him as he started to read it with a small smile.
~~~
It was lunch, it should have been a normal lunch at least. Just a minute ago, {F/n} had just been eating his bento under a tree in silence, before he heard someone shout his name, causing him to look over.
Right then and there, stood the captain of the volleyball team, Sawamura Daichi with a pissed off expression on his face.
The {e/c} eyed male just grinned a tiny bit and he swallowed the rice that had been in his mouth, watching as the upperclassmen walked over to him.
He laid the lid over the bento, knowing what was about to happen next. His predictions were correct. He got pulled up by his collar and came face to face with the scary monster.
"Where are the keys this time?.." He asked, seriousness was clearly something present in the olders tone, but that did not affect {F/n} the slightest.
"What are you talking about, Daichi-senpai? I haven't seen them today." {F/n} lied with ease to his senpai.
"Liar, I know that you have them. You play this trick two times a week, even up to three if you're bored. Also I saw you running from your sensei in the second period through the windows." Daichi said, glaring at the male.
The younger male smirked down at him, even if he was only a few inches taller, but he could always make it seem like more. "Man, you're no fun. You were always nice to me when we met last year, now you're just becoming boring." He said, pulling Daichi's hands away from his collar.
{F/n} smirked at him, before putting a hand on his hip. "I took them, but you're gonna have to find them. But don't worry, it is in a place that you know well." He said, making the other groan quietly. This kid was really giving him a lot of stress about this.
He took his bag and put his lunch in the biggest pocket, before heading back to the main building. "Say hi to your team for me." The younger of the two said, but was grabbed by the back of his collar.
The short haired male behind him had a dark purple aura surrounding him, which would horrify most people just by looking. "You're going to go get the keys. I don't have time for your stupid games."
There was some silence, before {F/n} sighed quietly and mumbled something incoherent to himself. "Fine, only because you'll hit me otherwise." He answered, boredom clearly laced his voice. The younger of the two started walking in the direction of the gym the boys use for volleyball practice.
The direction the second year walked in confused Daichi a bit, but he just followed after him. The thing that was weird about this was where they were heading. Normally the prankster would hide the keys in a tree, or a classroom, heck, one time he even threw the keys out of the window when the captain came to his classroom.
Right in front of him, Daichi still remembered that smirk and look the younger boy had on his face that day. It was one that could easily charm people, as well as destroy everyone's hopes and dreams. And let's not get started on those taunting {e/c} eyes. How they showed nothing but amusement. It was almost as bad as that time with the... the wig. He did not want to remember that again.
The taller one stopped a couple of meters in front of the door that led to the entrance of the gym. The older was extremely confused now and watched as the taller bent down and jumped to the top of the door. He took something in the air by the top, before landing again and turning around. The silver keys were in his hand, dangling there like it was taunting the captain.
"Out of all places, why there?' Daichi asked the taller male, cocking an eyebrow at the boy. Meanwhile {F/n} just swung the keys around his finger and gave a small grin. "Well, you see it was getting quite boring, watching you and the others jumping after them in the trees. I figured I might as well spice things up, for the heck of it."
He tossed the keys to Daichi, who caught the keys and watched as the male started to walk towards him. The boy stopped when the two came by side by side, facing opposite directions.
"I meant what I said earlier on. Don't try to match an alpha wolf... You'll only end up getting hurt." The taller boy said, before he continued to walk off, leaving Daichi in a slightly frozen state. It soon went away, after half a minute.
Daichi looked over his shoulder, but the other was long gone. He was completely out of sight. Daichi did not like him, nor did he hate him either. Nobody really did have an exact opinion on that boy. Most either hated him, worshipped him in secret, or felt neutral about him. But one thing had always been for sure about him. He was dangerous, not only for others but for himself as well.
He sighed quietly, shaking his head before turning back around and going up the stairs, unlocking the door and walked in, after taking off his outdoor shoes and putting on his indoor ones. Daichi has no clue what was about to change soon for Karasuno's volleyball club.
