David found a little comfort in their conversation. He had never seen this other side of Kyle. Kyle seek to know him other than the ungrateful teen he saw David as, he saw a totally different person behind his drawing, the dedicated type and he was curious to know why David found his solace in drawing. What could have possibly caused that attitude in him? Kyle was intrigued to know. Even if David repeated his admiration for his father's work he knew something else was right behind his thirst for sketch.
"Have you ever had any bad experience during your childhood?" Kyle asked David who was cleaning his dish in the sink.
He paused. The tap ran freely hitting his soapy palms.
"Yeah." He said, his voice was not audible enough but it gave away his tiny little secret.
He rinsed the plate and arranged it neatly, before going to wipe his hands.
