"What's Alter ego, I know it's something related to dual or split personality. But, Can I return to my normal self after that, and what are the benefits of entering Alter Ego state?" questioned Levi by his thoughts.
"Wow, the system made by the deities is surely messed up, This thing wants me to enter my cruel state to win this battle and survive. Or be me, and die by this girl, who calls herself, the saint of time." thought a surprised Levi.
"Today, You would be dying. Remember all your loved ones before I kill you," told Titania in a soft yet ordering tone.
"Nope, I cannot let her do it to me again, I barely dodged that last attack. Although it hurt my leg badly." thought Levi.
"Not yet, Saint. Initiate, Alter Ego State right now." cried Levi in top of his voice.
"Nothing will help and is this a code word to call your allies?" mocked Titania as a cruel smile appeared on her face.
Immediately, Levi started to growl in pain as he bent down on his knees, clutching his whole body with both the hands. He felt like, his whole body was on fire, and someone was lashing him with a whip. Suddenly, he lost consciousness and lay on the ground.
"Well, this was your way of dying, eh?" commented Titania as she softly kicked Levi's unconscious body.
"It can't be... is that guy dead?" asked a shocked bandit.
"What just happened, He started growling in pain after crying something out?" commented another bandit.
"He's dead. Now, it's the turn of you all savages to die," informed Titania as she stepped forward.
"Do you really think that I, Levi Ackerman is dead so soon?" whispered someone in Titania's ears while she was heading towards the bandits.
Titania immediately turned back, but, saw no one behind her. She again turned around to face the bandits but, a realization struck her, and she turned back to find that Levi's unconscious body was not there.
"Where did that silver guy go?" Titania asked the bandits in an irritated tone.
"We don't know. We never saw that guy getting up from that place." said all of the bandits unanimously.
"I don't need any magic to defeat you, the so-called Saint of Time, Titania Lius. But, you would need more than that magic to defeat me," warned Levi from behind Titania.
"You can be so sure. Well, I already saw your useless spell. It's so useless that, it won't even put a scratch on me." mocked Titania while glaring at Levi.
Titania felt a powerful ominous aura radiating from Levi's body. Earlier, she felt a weak but, light aura. This time, something was different. She looked into the aqua blue eyes which had turned a lighter shade of ocean green due to some reason.
"You are not Levi, but, something else. He didn't felt this powerful and ominous."
"Indeed I am. I am Levi Ackerman. It's just that now, my dual personality is active." said Levi calmly.
"Whatever, Chrono Magic: Heavens Time." cried Titania.
"You really think that this type of spell can affect me in any way?" asked Levi.
"Well, it did affect you pretty badly before," replied Titania.
"Now, Chrono Magic: Chrono Fusion." cried Titania.
Instantly, Energy called Mana from the atmosphere started to accumulate into a large sphere of light. The brightness of the spell lit the whole area, giving the feeling of the day.
"Not again, not this time," said Levi as he immediately went near Titania without her noticing his movements.
"But, how can he move so swiftly, I cannot even see him." thought Titania.
Immediately, Levi grabbed Titania by the throat and pressed her onto the nearest wall while lifting her body in the air. Titania struggled and gasped for air as her windpipe was slowly crushed by Levi. She tried to push Levi back, and leave her throat. But, he just held it firmly.
"Leave me, Please. I beg you." Titania pleaded between breaths.
"Not yet, First, I will kill you, the so-called Saint of Time. Then, I will laugh at your dead body." mocked Levi.
When Titania felt that, she was done for in this life, and was about to give up the struggle, Levi threw her in another direction. She went crashing into the debris of houses that the bandits had plundered earlier.
"I am not going to give up, Chrono Magic: Chronic Time Shifter." cried Titania mustering the last of her remaining strength."
Suddenly, everything started to go backward. It seemed like someone had turned on the rewind button on the television. The time started to flow backward and stopped at the time when Levi rushed at Titania and grabbed her.
"This type of magic drains most of my mana reserves. At least, now, I know what this silver guy could do to me. I must do everything with more focus, and precision." sighed Titania.
"Now, the most powerful magic of mine, Chrono Magic: Scythe of Chaos" yelled Titania.
As soon as these words left Titania's mouth, A huge scythe made of energy appeared over Levi. But, Levi felt no fear of the scythe. His eyes held a look of determination, and desire to defeat Titania. He knew, what he has to do to defeat the lady standing before him.
"You think you can defeat me with this, then, thing twice." challenged Levi as he stood there staring at Titania.
"It will destroy you, and tear your whole body apart until you are sent to the darkest area of hell," warned Titania in anger.
"Let's see. Annihilation Magic: Sphere of Destruction" said Levi softly, and immediately appeared next to Titania hitting her in the gut with the energy ball that formed over his left hand.
Titania was caught by surprise when Levi suddenly appeared next to her. The next thing she felt was immense pain, and she flew in the air. The last thing which Titania remembered was crashing into the same debris as the last time.
"How can someone be so strong?" muttered Titania before blacking out.
