|JiSu's POV|
"I call middle!" JuHee rushes toward the beaten up van sitting in the driveway.
"Should we do a live in the car?" I question as I pull my phone out, more than ready to speak to our fans—even if there are only a few.
"That sounds like a good idea." NaHee nods in agreement as she waits for everyone to climb in and get situated.
"Make sure you buckle up." ChanHyuck states as he spins around in his seat to check on us.
"Okay, but shh! We're starting a live." NaHee chirps as she waves him off.
"Hello!" I wave my arm in front of the camera as about a dozen people join.
"How are you guys?" JuHee asks as she leans in to see the comments better.
"Someone said they missed us." NaHee chirps as she grabs ahold of JuHee's arm.
"How many people are here?" I turn the camera toward me to get a better look.
"How many?" SunMi mumbles as she lingers in the side of the shot.
"There's about a thousand." I smile as I redirect the camera toward the others.
"That's quite a lot. I hope you're all doing well! We love you!" Aera waves her arms joyously before blowing the camera a kiss.
"What do the comments say?" NaHee mumbles as she leans in to read them.
"They keep asking Sun to get in the shot." I state as I reach out to grab SunMi's arm. I pull her closer so they can see her face.
"Guys, we're on our way to a radio show. After we finish up we're going to eat then go out and do some busking. If you watch our account, we'll post our location so you can come see us. We'd love to see you all!" JuHee explains as she rests her head on NaHee's shoulder.
"Sun is going to sing for you, too!" I smile as I glance at her for her reaction.
"Sun can't sing." SunMi shakes her head as she hides behind her hair in embarrassment.
"If Sun sings, Jia raps." NaHee chuckles as I confidently nod in agreement.
"Better bring some earplugs. Jia can't rap. Trust me. She tries." JuHee scrunches her nose up as she pokes at me playfully.
"Do you guys have any song requests? We'll sing whatever you'd like!" Aera chirps as she watches the comments closely.
"Someone said we should sing Fancy." JuHee's eyes light up as she begins doing some of the hand movements from the dance.
"I think we should do something older. What about Couple? That one is really good." NaHee begins bringing up songs we were all too young to remember—with the exception of JuHee and me. She wasn't even born yet and I was at most a few months old if I was even born at all.
"The fans say we should try a SunMi song. Sun—you should sing Gashina!" I immediately turn the camera directly on her.
"Only if someone sings with me." SunMi mumbles as she glances toward JuHee for backup.
"Me! Me! I'll sing with you! I love that song." JuHee catches on and agrees without a second thought.
"We have to get going, but we'll see you guys later! Watch the account for an update on where we're busking!" NaHee glances up to ChanHyuck signaling us to bring it to an end.
"We love you guys so much!" Aera leans forward to playfully kiss the camera.
"You better come watch us later! We want to meet all of you!" JuHee waves enthusiastically as SunMi offers nothing more than an awkward yet warm smile.
"Bye, guys!" I turn the camera to me and wave before hitting end.
"Once we get in there, they're going to get you all set up. They'll ask some questions and you'll cover a song or two then we're done. It should only take an hour or two." ChanHyuck explains as he climbs out of the van to open the door for us.
"What do you think they'll ask?" I mumble as I hope out of the van and stand next to JuHee.
"I hope they ask us important things and not stuff about our pasts." JuHee sighs as she tugs on her shirt.
"If they say anything about my parents—do I have permission to punch them?" SunMi turns toward ChanHyuck for a response.
"No, you can't punch anyone, SunMi. Just tell them you prefer not to answer. I've already talked to them about asking you guys things like that anyway. They're supposed to stick to questions just about your debut and the group." ChanHyuck reassures us as he motions us toward the building.
"This feels weird." Aera mumbles as she awkwardly walks beside me.
"Why's that?" I ask softly as we trail behind the others.
"At JYP, I barely ever saw JYP. He was always busy. He'd come in and do evaluations and everything—but I only remember him checking on us just because maybe two or three times a month. We did everything through managers and stuff—but our manager is our CEO. It's just weird." Aera shrugs as ChanHyuck holds the door open for us.
"I'm good at both roles." ChanHyuck chuckles as he follows us in.
"That you are." Aera nods in agreement as he falls in step beside us.
"Candi?" A woman asks softly as she glances down at her clipboard.
"Yes." ChanHyuck picks up his pace to meet the woman.
"You guys are in that room over there. They're setting up the studio now. They should come get you in a few minutes." She mumbles as she motions toward an open door.
"Thank you." ChanHyuck bows his head just slightly as he grabs my arm and leads me into the room.
"And now I'm freaking out." SunMi sighs as she falls down in a chair.
"Breathe. You'll be fine. I'll be right next to you guys. If something happens or they ask something they shouldn't I'll step in." ChanHyuck sits down next to her and pats her back.
"If you get too anxious, just pinch whoever is sitting next to you—unless it's me." I chuckle as the other three shoot me a glare.
"I'm not pinching anyone." SunMi mumbles as she takes a shaky breath.
"You won't pinch anyone, but moments ago you were more than willing to punch someone." NaHee teases as she approaches SunMi.
"I'll punch you, too, if you say anything about my parents." SunMi threatens jokingly as she reaches out to grab ahold of NaHee.
"I love your parents. They're the sweetest people in the world. Why would I say anything bad about them? We wouldn't have a house if I did." NaHee smiles as she sits down in SunMi's lap.
"Candi—we're ready for you." A woman slips into the room and motions for us to follow her.
