(Robin's POV):We finally got out of the room after performing inventory once more. I had to give Grace a few extra boxes since she'll be using her skills more often at this point.
"Alright guys, this will be a lot trickier since we have no idea what the Queen Bee would do."
"Really? Then how should we fight?" - Jay
"Try to keep your distance, maybe it will get stationary for a while so it will be the chance to bombard it. Do not stay on one position, keep moving constantly."
"Alright." - Grace
"For starters, we surround it."
We arrived to the large terrestrial object once again and gained the attention of the Queen Bee.
"Here it comes!"
The Queen Bee moved down while I started to see multiple stingers fired towards us.
"Dodge!"
Jay fired a bullet and started moving back to distance himself. I then saw hundreds of small bees floating around in a swarm.
"Holy..."
The hundreds of bees are surrounding it as a barrier. Needless to say that the Queen Bee is a huge monster but, being surrounded by hundreds, or probably even thousands for protection makes this entirely difficult.
"This ain't like the lore at all..."
I continued dodging all the stingers fired towards me. The others tried to move around while deflecting some away.
"Searing Light!"
I fired a laser to try and burn through the shield. It managed well but the barrier of bees was instantly refilled. Jay keeps firing his bullets to damage it bit by bit. After some time, the Queen Bee started moving downwards to level itself with me and dashed forward at an alarming speed.
"Shit!"
I avoided the Queen Bee by hairsbreadth and noticed that the small bees were trying to follow up.
"Jay! Strike while it's dashing!"
The Queen Bee decided to try and ram the other members which got them a little panicked with the difficult speed.
"Scatter the small bees! Disperse them!"
I fired another searing laser towards the small bees to thin out the numbers by a little bit. I managed to melt a bunch and it didn't regenerate instantly.
"This big guy is fast!" - Rylle
All of them managed to barely avoid the Queen Bee as it dashed through everyone. It then went back up above us and got itself covered. Jay landed only a single bullet due to the speed of the bee so that is a major problem.
"Surround!"
The Queen Bee started trying to restore the barrier but we never gave it a chance. We immediately surrounded it and tried to pummel through.
"Gah!! It stings! Oh shit, it's a permanent poison tier 4 effect!" - Ridley
Poison tier four?! And it's permanent! We have to cure this immediately!
"Ridley! Grace! Retreat, treat the poison with the items I provided. Make sure that he's fine."
"G-Got it!" - Grace
"I can still!" - Ridley
"Do not risk! This battle is completely dangerous!"
"A-Aight!" - Ridley
Ridley and Grace immediately retreated back to Jay's position. Only me and Rylle will be trying to keep the agro of this gigantic bee.
"Don't get stung now Rylle, it's pretty difficult with lesser people."
"Got it." - Rylle
"Searing Blades!"
I summoned about four searing blades to surround the Queen Bee that's trying to fire its stingers towards Grace and Ridley who are retreating. I tried to push through my damage and clear off the barrier of bees.
"Rylle, try gaining the agro of this and dodge all stingers. I will not allow risks."
"Aight." - Rylle
Rylle moved downwards towards the crossfire and deflected some stingers. The queen bee moved its attention to Rylle and started firing even more. I kept slicing through the barrier and deal as much damage as I can. However, the shield keeps replenishing itself at a rapid rate so it was barely possible to make it work.
"I need more!"
The Queen Bee started to distance itself by a little bit before dashing towards me. I dodged the ramming attack a few more times while Jay tried to strike it in the most open state. After some time, it returned to normal where it flies above us and rains down stingers. Jay managed to land multiple bullets this time as he's getting used to the movement. Great, keep adapting guys, we can finish this up pretty quickly.
I continued clearing off the shield while it was dashing so it was pretty open when it went stationary. Jay landed a few additional shots while I managed to strike it with one searing blade.
"It's bleeding!" - Rylle
"Don't touch the blood! It's poison!"
My instinct tells me that even the blood of the queen bee is poisonous so I immediately told Rylle about it to stop him from any unnecessary movements.
"Khh!"
I started to get stung here and there but my class prevents me from taking in negative debuffs like poison. It does not prevent bleeding but it is pretty much essential to fight it like that.
Michael said that this thing is deadly, but not this deadly.
I brought out the only item this will help us in this situation.
"Tarot Card VIII! Justice! Activation!"
I suddenly feel an influx of power that poured into my body. I feel completely energetic and could try to eliminate everything at once.
"Let's begin."
I hid both Mana Breaker and Heaven's Beacon and brought out twenty searing blades. It's difficult to coordinate everything unlike Denzel's phantasmal blades that he has perfected control over but, it will be enough to fight against a monstrosity like the Queen Bee.
I landed multiple attacks from all sides and damaged the Queen Bee easily.
"Erm Rylle, should we leave it to Robin?" - Jay
"Yep, I think I have to back down... I got hit a few times..." - Rylle
"Rylle, step down for the time being. Jay, prepare to aim for the head."
"Got it." - Jay and Rylle
I started clearing off the bees at a rapid rate that it outpaces the queen bee from restoring its defensive state.
Jay immediately fired a bullet to the head and dealt great damage to it. The queen bee flinched for a few seconds and allowed me to deal a great amount of damage towards it. I then dealt even more by slicing multiple cuts into the large body. The queen bee distanced itself and dashed at an even faster speed. I dodged it easily due to the stat balancing of Justice. Jay still managed to land attacks but it was much less due to the sudden increase of speed.
After dodging a dash, I try to eliminate as many bees as I can to lessen the shield it will generate after the attack. I had to continue doing this a few cycles before it returns to going above me.
I stayed down this time and let the searing blades damage the queen bee. I simply dodged all the abilities while bringing out the Paladin's Sword that I got.
"Commandment!"
I then started dealing even more damage from the inside of the queen bee while it fires even more stingers towards me. I dodged everything pretty smoothly and took a few hits here and there due to the focus commandment requires to be casted.
"Commandment!"
At the second cast, the queen bee flinched up a little bit so I closed the distance immediately to try and make another attempt of weakening it completely.
"Righteous Seal!"
Both me and the queen bee has sealed almost half of our power. It was enough for Jay to land a perfect shot to damage it even more.
I dealt a huge portion of damage using the searing blades before using righteous seal with an all out attack. After using the sealing ability, the searing blades dropped to ten in number while the queen bee has trouble replenishing its forcefield.
"Jay, take aim."
I continued dodging the stingers while dealing some damage towards it with the searing blades. I can completely guarantee the victory at this point but I noticed that I'm running out of bags of air.
"Seventy left..."
I kept dealing damage towards the queen bee while avoiding the deadly strikes. The seal wore off in my case while the queen bee dashed a lot slower to my reaction time.
I dodged it easily and landed multiple decisive hits.
"Commandment. Jay, finish it off."
Seeing the weakened queen bee, Jay fired the last bullet straight to the head and killed the queen bee completely. Everyone got their fair share of experience points. The contribution to the battle was fine because we had to avoid ourselves from getting killed. I simply grabbed the loot and went straight towards the area we used to rest up.
I signaled Jay to make a full retreat towards the area so he went on first.
"Good job Robin, that was really intense... We didn't really help out much... Sorry about that." - Grace
"It's fine, the most difficult part is starting the battle so I could understand the struggle here. Everyone did their parts well, how are you two?"
"Doing fine, we may need to lie down for a long time though." - Ridley
"I had a dodge fest, so I'm pretty tired." - Rylle
"Aight, let's perform inventory. Jay, take care of them. Grace, join me in mining for a bit."
"Alright." - Grace
Everyone pretty much took a rest for the time being while I brought out a single box of air bags.
"Only one left here."
"One?!?!" - Everyone
Everyone in unison was pretty shocked with the amount of air I had used up. I simply just let everything off with the high requirements of both justice and using commandment.
"I may need a few more boxes from you guys."
