(Robin's POV):
I entered my room with Jay but he seems pretty excited for some reason. I brought him in where I had kept most of the needed things in preparation for the next trip.
"So, if your inventory is cleaned up do you mind bringing all these boxes. They will be completely necessary for the trip."
"Necessary? What kind of stuff are in here though?" - Jay
"Conserved air. We will be needing a way to breathe in the area we're collecting ore on. Everything will be extremely light so you may have to change up some things since projectiles are practically in a rough spot since they have no gravity."
"No gravity? And no air?!" - Jay
"Yep, so I prepared like enough for ten people for the entire trip but since we're only a group of five, there's no harm in training for it."
"I-I see... So what do we do with all these?" - Jay
Jay was looking at the fifty portable storage boxes so each member could have ten boxes with at least sixty bags of conserved air.
"Well, I'm going to train you guys with regulated breathing and holding it for a while. We'll be practicing that in normal movement, quick movement, combat, and perfected combat movement. So I will have to train everyone well."
"I-I see... So when will we start this training?" - Jay
"Can you bring a bunch of these boxes to them now? Make sure they don't open it yet for the time being. I'll bring the rest later since I will bring another person to the training zone."
"I see, who is it though?" - Jay
"I'll keep it as a surprise."
"Ah, alright then!" - Jay
Jay went off looking for the other three members going for the next adventure. I went around and back towards the throne room but I ended up seeing Sharon all alone and somewhat grinning.
"Sharon, what's up?"
"Ah well, it's just something I want to laugh off by a little bit because of the sight after all." - Sharon
"What do you mean?"
"Well, you're quite close with one of those kids you brought in here. Specially since he looks a little younger than us." - Sharon
"So?"
"Pfft... Since you don't realize, I won't tell you anything." - Sharon
What the hell was that about?
Sharon never told me anything in the end and just went off while grinning over something. Normally, some of my friends don't tell me anything but I know for the fact that some of them love a little bit of "that".
"I guess I'll just shrug it off."
I finally arrived to the throne room and called out to one member talking to Allen. They seem to be analyzing about something in chess so I decided to clear off somethings out by calling him.
"Yo, Karl! I got a favor."
Karl turned his gaze and greeted back.
"Yo, what is it about?" - Karl
"Well, I kinda need your magic for the training since the next area we're gonna be exploring is that extra-terrestrial zone in the far west."
"You're heading to space? Ah, you're thinking of collecting a bunch of ore there? I don't think you have any threats excluding powerful monsters there so you wouldn't have any problem except for air." - Karl
"Yeah, and what I need is your magic that removes air."
"Ah? Vacuuming an area? Is it for training your members?" - Karl
"Yep, and I will pass you these..."
I gave Karl his share of Arcana and Magma ore that I had picked up on my travels. It will be enough for Karl to make use of these powerful materials to create various enchantments and experimentations with these.
"So, I got the news about Denzel... Was he okay now?" - Karl
We started walking towards the training area where I sensed all four of them in a normal walking pace.
"Well, I got news that he's slowly recovering so I don't think it's gonna take a while longer when it comes to preparations. Besides, we have an upcoming party that will happen soon enough so we should be best if we're prepared."
"True, so what kind of members do you have?" - Karl
"They're a group of scouts, but they're powerful enough to fight various things."
"I see, I can't wait to meet them. You seem to have a nice impression on their abilities so I'm pretty keen with having to assist on training these guys." - Karl
"Ahaha, look forward to it. They're a great bunch so they will be appointed as official members soon."
After some time, we had arrived to the arena where Jay was sitting down along with the Ridley, Rylle, and Grace.
"You guys seem exhausted."
"Ah! We kind of trained a bit before you arrived so... Sorry..." - Jay
"Eh, should be fine. So guys, this is Karl."
I pointed to Karl and urged him to rejuvenate these guys since they pretty much ran out of energy from straining themselves for a bit.
"Alright, alright. Revitalize." - Karl
"Oh, I feel pretty light?" - Jay
"Ah, this feels much better." - Grace
All four of them stood up so I introduced each of them to Karl.
"So Karl, these are the four kids I pretty much took under my wing. From the right, that is Ridley, who is a phantom assassin. He is able to phase himself through walls, attacks, and is a powerful team member when it comes to initiating surprise attacks."
"I see, glad to meet you who owns such a nice initiating and quick elimination class." - Karl
"Ah, glad to meet you too royal magician." - Ridley
"No need to call me that, just skip the formalities and call me Karl. All of you don't have to get used to hierarchy so we all won't get into any problems alright?" - Karl
All of them agreed in some way or another but I continued introducing each of them to Karl.
"The next one is Rylle, he's a shadow assassin and is actually great with getting his enemies pretty confused as to where he will be."
"Shadow assassin? I see, it's nice meeting you. Surely, your trickery will be of great use for the team along with fighting on." - Karl
"Ah, it's no biggie. I'll try to help as much as I can." - Rylle
Karl shook Rylle's hand after he shook Ridley's hand. Grace and Jay were looking at them patiently and started thinking.
"This one is Grace, she's a Samurai but she has nice abilities related to being an Aero Assassin."
"Aero type classes are great specially with an assassin role. So I hope you use the class well." - Karl
"Thank you, I will definitely make great use of it." - Grace
"The last one is Jay. He's a recon scout but both of us survived against an enemy holding a painfully defensive zodiac."
"Ooh? A person who managed to fight alongside you as a partner? That's quite nice Robin, normally when fighting with someone you are in trouble so it's a fresh breath of air hearing that you fought with a partner." - Karl
"A-ah... I'm grateful..." - Jay
After letting them finish their handshake greetings, I immediately started explaining what everyone is supposed to do in the training.
"So guys, we'll be practicing things from normal movement to the most energy consuming attacks but with a twist."
"We're gonna be doing everything with limited air." - Jay
"Yep, have you explained it Jay?"
"Mhm!" - Jay
"Good, is everyone ready then?"
"Yep!" - Jay
Jay answered for all of them and they don't seem to have any complaints about it.
"Good, let's open one box because we need to prepare ourselves for stuff."
Everyone took a few bags filled with air to allow them to grab enough air. This is mainly to train them to get used to this or to check who needs to be breathing a lot more. For sure Jay doesn't need to breathe too much because he will have to focus his sniper rifle.
"Alright. Karl, you can begin now."
"Got it." - Karl
Karl brings out a book made by Denzel which allows him to copy every single form of spell into the book. He made good use of that item for utility, quality of life, and dangerous things such as combat and experimentation.
I activated a telepathic communication method as talking will be completely impossible with the lack of breath.
"So guys, I suggest that you should use telepathic communication. It will use up some of our energy but it is worth it in the long run."
"Got it!"
Everyone made their responses in unison and they seem to have taken a deep breath beforehand.
Great job guys...
"Good, now slowly start walking around the area and check if it's different."
Each of them moved around a little bit and there seems to be minor inconveniences when it comes to making minor movement. I tried to move around myself and I feel way too light.
"Balance is hard with this extreme lightness. We may have to fight without a center of gravity." - Grace
"Yep, this is going to be a rough work. We will need to practice for a while more. This will continue for a few days straight do you guys understand?"
"Haii!"
Everyone agreed in unison once again as we continued making more minor movements while trying to retain our balance. After some time, I finally got used to it and did a normal lap with walking and running. We had used up a few bags but we didn't pretty much squander a quarter of a box just yet.
"Aight, since we're all doing just fine we should do our best here. I finally got used to it so I'll be waiting for you guys."
Everyone moved around while giving a reply without complaints. After exiting the barrier, I could feel the weight around me and instantly collapsed to the ground. As expected.
I finally got a chance to breathe normally but I had to get up and feel the annoying gravity once more. I swear, once I'm done there I'm never coming back.
