The Half Desert Ocean.
The sporadic towns stood on the cleanly swept reddish-brown desert, and the pale blue coral isles, like these towns, formed some sort of scattered symmetry resting on the peaceful sea surface.
The sands were pure and sloped gently, the extreme clarity of the water was like a lake, the reddish-brown sand subtly stretched beneath the sea surface, to the point where it was hard to notice that it had already reached the maritime area.
The drizzling green rain did nothing to muddy these scenes.
However, it was particularly within this serene and perfect little world that an unnerving presence loomed. The people hid within the Half Desert towns, gazing at the sands and the curtain of rain, always able to perceive a massive silhouette they couldn't see with their naked eyes. If not for the raindrops beating upon it, outlining this eerie figure, they wouldn't even know that a terrifying entity was roaming outside the town, greedily watching them...
