Zhu Minglang and Linghu Ling took shelter under the shade of its companion tree, and incredibly, the overwhelming breath of ice and fire did not invade this area beneath the tree's shadow!
The shade seemed to isolate all violent energy, truly like standing beneath a cooling large tree in the dog days of summer, the sweltering heat entirely dissipated!
Zhu Minglang and Linghu Ling were unharmed, and as the ice and fire breath gradually subsided, the Kui Dragon God Tree became extremely agitated, like a devil whose entire body twisted together out of Mu Song Dragons, baring its teeth and claws with a fierce appearance.
Some of its branches still hung with dried corpses and skeletons, and some vengeful spirits and ghostly specters could be seen swirling above the canopy like birds flitting around their nests.
The Kui Dragon God Tree suddenly twisted its trunk, and instantly hundreds of Dragon Branches twisted together, forming a massive, robust ghostly wooden arm!
