Chapter 97 - Taking Advantage

Anyways, Qing Tian stopped thinking about it and just put away his body into a separate space.

He was always plenty strong, not many could hold a candle to him. However, at his current strength, his wives could barely handle the pressure emanating out of his body after absorbing just 20% of his energy.

On his two shoulders, Kuroka and Yoruichi were both clawing at Qing Tian's clothes in pain as they struggled to stay awake. The three women behind Qing Tian were all trembling and supporting each other to not fall.

It… was a bit said, considering he was already holding back as much as he could. With a single finger flick, Qing Tian's body had a small seal imprinted on his finger.

Haa!

Shh…

Hearing his wives sigh in relief and pant a little, Qing Tian smiled a little after sealing a small portion of his power.

Turning around, Qing Tian smiled, "Now ladies, it's time to go meet the family."

All five women smiled weakly at Qing Tian's words and followed him through a portal he had summoned before them.

"Tian'er, you're back!"

A beautiful and melodious voice entered Qing Tian's ears and he smiled happily as he looked at Lin Xue approach him with a charming smile on her face.

"Mother, it's been a while," said Qing Tian as he embraced the woman before him before glancing around the room.

Tisza and Sonzai were already here and even Queen and Luo Sulan were there.

The later group looked at Qing Tian with smiles and greeted him as well after Lin Xue had hugged him enough.

"Mom, there's something I need to tell you. I'm sure you've already made some discoveries, but you want to hear them from me," said Qing Tian as he glanced into his mothers eyes with swiftness before turning to look at both Queen and Luo Sulan. "I'm… actually not from this Universe. I was reborn here after some circumstance had happened in my previous one."

The room went quiet and no one dared to make a sound at that moment.

Lin Xue closed her eyes and her lips quivered for a couple of seconds before looking into Qing Tian's eyes with a steel will.

Breathing in deeply and then exhaling, Lin Xue eventually gazed at Qing Tian with a sweet gaze.

"I… already had a feeling something like this might have happened. It's… not much of a surprise really."

The room went quiet and everyone perked up there ears to listen closely to what Lin Xue was saying.

"After all, in a world where amazing beasts, Gods, Qi, and even ancient civilizations like the Crystallizers exist, someone like you might seem more normal to this whole thing," said Lin Xue with a soft smile on her face. She outstretched her hands and placed it on Qing Tian's shoulder.

Qing Tian smiled and just as he was about to hug his mother, Lin Xue smiled coldly, stopping him from moving.

"But I won't forget what happened when you just a child… to think you had manipulated me at such a moment," muttered Lin Xue coldly with a blush on her face.

Chuckling, Qing Tian expected for such a thing to happen.

"Oh? What will you do?" Qing Tian asked as he leaned forward and held onto Lin Xue's chin and gave her a small kiss.

"Ha! I'll have to think about it," said Lin Xue, accepting Qing Tian's kiss without a second thought.

Nodding, Qing Tian turned to look at the other two women who gazed at Qing Tian with understanding gazes.

"No wonder he was good at seduction when he was young…" mumbled Luo Sulan with a playful smile on her face. Her eyes were filled with seduction as she gazed into Qing Tian's eyes.

Queen just nodded and looked at Qing Tian with an scudding gaze as if saying, 'It's your fault I fell in love with you, hurry and take responsibility.'

Chuckling, Qing Tian turned around and looked at portal that was still open.

Everyone followed Qing Tian's gaze and eventually noticed that the portal was still opened. They looked over at our curiosity, wondering what's going to come out of it.

Whilst they were thinking that, they heard Qing Tian talk to the portal.

"Okay, you five can come on out now!"

Everyone in the room turned their gazes over to Qing Tian, wondering what he had meant by that. Not including Sonzai, everyone looked at the five beings stepping out of the portal in shock.

Queen, Luo Sulan, and Yisha all looked at the five beings all with shocked expressions on their faces. They could all feel an invisible pressure fall upon them.

They all felt this pressure, it was different from the usual pressure of other gene cultivators. It was new, and they each gave a different pressure.

"Wh-what's going on?" asked Yisha with furrowed eyebrows.

"Everyone, let me introduce to you, the most prominent women in my harem before I died," said Qing Tian as he turned to look at everyone.

Tap… tap… tap…

In a crowded street filled with people, a white haired man walked forward with a grin on his face.

"Now… where is he?"

With a chill smile on his face, Ken looked around the large crowd of people. His eyes scanning the faces of various people before shaking his head.

'All these bald heads are very blinding!' cursed Ken after a second when he felt the light of the sun bounce off the head of a bald Buddha.

"Amitabha!"

Suddenly, Ken was surrounded by various Buddhists and his eyes traced the faces of each of these Buddhists.

'What the hell? What's with their faces?'

Feeling a chill down his spine, Ken looked at the weird expressions on the faces of these poor monks.

"What do you want?" asked Ken, feeling weird.

"Amitabha, the 'benevolent one' has bestowed us another friend," said an old man looking at Ken with smiling eyes.

Ken smiled coldly and said, "Ah, may I get some help from the kind Buddhists?"

The Buddhists surrounding Ken all smiled and guided Ken over to a house.

"Hoho, you must be hungry. Come have some food at this old man's house," said the old man with a gentle smile on his wrinkly face.

Smiling, Ken followed the old man.

'I'll kill the old man when I have chance and then use my Face Change Technique to become him,' thought Ken as he smiled menacingly.

Ken was staring so hard at the poor old Buddhist that if he could, Ken would have already burnt holes into the back of the old man's head.

Rubbing his bald head, the old man felt something prickly on the back of his head. Turning around, he turned to gaze at the man behind him with a smiling face.

"Over here young man," said the old man, letting Ken sit down at the table before bringing forth some tea and cookies.

Ken smiled before turning around and furrowing his eyebrows in displeasure.

"Why is that man following us?" Ken asked the old Buddhist.

"Him? He's a friend of mine, he just came to make sure I'm fine," chuckled the old man before stroking his white beard.

"…"

Ken nodded his eyes narrowing before focusing on the tea and cookies before him. With eyes focused on the tea, Ken asked, "Do you have any milk?"

"Amitabha! I apologize. This old monk can't partake in such things," said the old man, responding to Ken's question with a mildly sad tone.

Ken stared at the tea for a minute before sliding it away and summoned his own drink, a cup of milk.

With the cup of milk in his hands, Ken felt relaxed as he narrowed his eyes and glared at the old man. 'Humph, there's obviously something in the tea. I won't drink that, nor will I eat the cookies.

However, I must make it look like I'm relaxed to make this old man act. Hehe, to think such lowly asshole would try to poison me!'

"I will take this then," said the old man, drinking the tea right in front of Ken's face before looking at the cookies in pity.

Picking up the cookies, the old man lightly shook his head before turning around and taking the cookies back to the kitchen.

As soon as the old man turned around, Ken smiled with a scary face, drawing the sword on his waist in an instant.

'Now's the moment!'

Shing!

Clang!

'Huh?'

With eyes filled with shock, Ken looked at the old man who had effortlessly blocked his sword attack. The sword attack which could seemingly cut through anything.

At this very moment, such a scary attack was blocked by a very ordinary walking stick in the hands of the old man.

"W-what's happening?" Ken asked himself, shocked by what had happened.

Gritting his teeth, Ken quickly used his ability to look five seconds in the future. Seeing the old man in his vision appear behind him and knocking him unconscious, Ken instantly knew how to react.

Resuming back into the present, Ken quickly dodged the old man's attack to his neck.

This caused the old man to flinch a bit before smiling at Ken, "Hoho! Very healthy and filled with vigor indeed. You will make a good addition to the group."

"I don't know who you are, but you won't get away with this," Ken said, glaring at the old man.

With a sword in hand, Ken lifted the sword in front of him before holding his sword-holding hand with his other hand.

"Ban-!"

Before Ken could even finish what he was about to say, he had fallen onto the floor and his vision began to dim.

'Ugh…'

With a swirling vision, Ken felt like he had been poisoned as he looked at the blurry old man before him.

"Hoho! Had the poison finally begun to work?" asked the old man with a gentle smile on his face.

Hearing the old man's words, Ken felt his body go cold before yelling at the old man before him in confusion.

"But how! I didn't drink your tea laced with poison! Or the cookies at all!"

It was finally then that old man's gentle smile finally disappeared and was instead replaced by a creepy smile.

"Hohoho! Who said the tea and cookies were laced with poison? Bold of you to assume a poor monk like me would poison the food and drinks of others," said the old man, looking at Ken with a creepy smile and narrowed eyes.

"Th-then what was in them?!" asked Ken angrily.

I'm on the level of a primordial being!

I reached the top 10 kings in the clan, [Isekai Kings]! How could I fall in some measly place like this!!!!

How?! How did they do it?!

"Hoho, the antidote was in them," said the old man, striking his beard as he walked over to Ken who was slowly being paralyzed by the poison.

Blegh!

Ken spat out blood after finding out what was inside the drinks and cookies, regretting that he had refused them.

"Then what about the poison?!" asked Ken, feeling like he was slowly going crazy.

"Hohoho!" The old man chuckled and moved to the side, revealing some incense sticks burning.

Ken's eyes dilated as he realized that the incense sticks were used to spread poison inside this small room. Since it took time to take effect, his precognition ability didn't work on it.

"Damn… slow acting effects are the worst," cursed Ken as he felt his entire body stiffen and he could no longer do anything.

The old man smiled creepily as it walked over to the paralyzed Ken in a slow manner.

"You're mine now," said the old man before turning to look at the nearby man. "Autumn Grass, bring in that 'thing' we need."

"Hm," the man nodded and pulled out a small wooden case from his chest pocket. "Handle this , Buddhist Summer Breeze."

Summer Breeze, the old man, chuckled before having the small wooden vase and opening it. Inside this case was just a small syringe with a small pink vial in it.

"Hoho, I apologize for this in advance benefactor," said Summer Breeze as he infected the pink liquid into Ken's body.

Ken's eyes dilated and his body began to sweat profusely just moments before an intense pain shot through his body.
