Chapter 95 - Scared?

"Sonzai, come on bud, let's dip," said Qing Tian as he turned to look at Sonzai with a lazy look.

Behind Qing Tian was a woman with beautiful snow white bunny ears, following him closely with a frown.

"Don't leave me behind! Look for another way to remove this chain," said Yisha, not convinced of Qing Tian mentioning that there was only one way to break the connection between them.

After all, the method was so… shameless!

'I can't let him do that to me…' thought Yisha as she bit her lips and turned to look at Qing Tian with a rosy look on her beautiful face.

Far in the distance, Sonzai had lifted his head to look at Qing Tian like he was looking at a brother.

"Haha, give me a sec. Master," said Sonzai as he turned to look at Joseph, who was still lying down on the floor despite having many opportune moments to stand up.

He truly didn't care about saving face.

Joseph gulped, a bit afraid of Sonzai because of his reputation and the mythical stories of him and his accomplishments.

"Hm? Why are you looking at me like that?"

Sonzai frowned and lowered himself to gaze deep into Joseph's eyes, only causing more fear to sprout inside Joseph.

Seeing Joseph's silly reaction of fear to him getting closer, Sonzai could only laugh heartily, "Hahahaha! You're a lot like your father!"

Blushing a little in embarrassment, Joseph lifted his head to look at Sonzai and said, "F-father?"

"Hm? Telling by your gaze, your father must be dead…" said Sonzai, going quiet after realizing the man he once knew was already dead. "Hmph. Serves that old bastard. Well, I'll probably meet him soon if I ask the Master to bring him back…"

Joseph shook at Sonzai's nonchalant words.

Bring back a Primordial from the dead? Nonsense!

Then… thinking about it again, Sonzai was still 'alive' and standing before him like nothing had happened besides becoming an undead spirit.

After mumbling for a while, Sonzai looked down at Joseph with a sudden serious gaze.

"What about my father?"

Joseph's eyes widened and he looked up at Sonzai with a grim look on his face. He opened and closed his mouth multiple times, not knowing exactly what to say.

"You're father… perished in a fight against the [Isekai Kings] about 200 years ago," said Joseph, refusing to make eye contact with Sonzai, afraid of his reaction.

Sonzai remained quiet for a long time, making Joseph feel quite nervous.

"Hmm…"

Finally, Sonzai made a sound and sounded like he was contemplating something.

"Looks like the old man finally found a reason to fight…"

Rubbing his skeleton head with a thud, Sonzai stood up straight before turning around.

"Thanks…"

Sonzai quickly thanked Joseph for the information before slowly walking away and catching up with Qing Tian in the distance.

'I…' awkwardly lying down on the ground, Joseph felt like he could no longer stand up now because of all the stares directed right at him. All he wished for now was to dig the hole even deeper and just disappear.

'I wish I was back home…' unconsciously thought Joseph as he thought about going back to his house where his family was probably waiting for him.

"Hm? Wait! Noo-"

Suddenly, Joseph disappeared and only his yell that echoed around the area remained.

His disappearance was closely related to the innate ability of a Primordial that he had awakened when he was young. That ability that he had awakened was the ability to grant wishes to people. However, the quality of the wish was random.

Whether the wish would be good or slightly disappointing, was all but luck based.

"Wow, did you see that? He just disappeared…"

"Amazing… so crazy…"

"No way… really?"

"Okay, no need to be sarcastic."

"Sorry, I just had to. After all, we were all just staring at him ever since he fell. We expected him to do something, but he never did anything…"

"True, he was a very disappointing person in this fight."

***

Sonzai floated beside Qing Tian after he reverted back into his chibi form.

"Where are we headed to now?" asked Yisha, her eyes gazing at Qing Tian seriously from the side.

Qing Tian smiled and said, "You don't need to follow me, you know?"

Yisha frowned and glared at Qing Tian, "You won't get away from me that easily. You can't forget that we're connected now. If I were to die, you would end up dying too."

Laughing at Yisha's reminder, Qing Tian looked at Yisha, "I don't mind living on the edge for the rest of my life."

"You…"

Groaning in displeasure and defeat, Yisha could only keep quiet and follow Qing Tian to see what he will do.

Turning to look at Sonzai, Qing Tian asked, "What's on your mind you sack of bones?"

"Hm? Nothing," Sonzai said with a shake of his head after hearing Qing Tian's question.

Glancing at Sonzai for a second, Qing Tian looked away with a nonchalant look on his face.

Reaching a hand into his pocket, Qing Tian fished out a coin from his pocket before flipping it.

Space and time seemed to halt at that very moment and focused on that single coin flipping in the air.

Ding!

Spinning in the air, watched on with an uninterested look as the coin attracted the fate and destiny of existence over to it.

'Divination?' Yisha looked over at the coin in extreme shock. She had seen many people divine before, one particular figure doing a very amazing job compared to the rest.

In the end, all of that was nothing but mere childish tricks before this single coin that seemed to decide the fate of an entire universe.

"I will never get used to this," said Sonzai, his glowing eyes gazing at the coin with interest and amusement.

Slap!

The coin fell on the top back part of Qing Tian's hand and he slapped it down with his other hand. Lifting his hand, Qing Tian revealed the coin that showed 'heads'.

"Oh? Look's like the person you're worrying about is still alive," said Qing Tian with a smirk as he turned to look at Sonzai.

Sonzai's eyes widened and his skull slowly turned black, his blue glowing eyes turning red. Boundless killing intent spread out from Sonzai, killing off the grass beneath their feet and turning them to dust.

Behind Qing Tian was Yisha who trembled under the killing intent of Sonzai. She was about to come into contact with the physical manifestation of the killing intent until Qing Tian when a figure suddenly appeared before her.

"Calm down, we have a poor chick here," said Qing Tian, slapping the back of Sonzai's 'bald' skull, sending his small golden crown flying into the distance.

Pa!

"Guh!" Sonzai snapped out of his anger and realized what happened right away. Rubbing the back of his head, where the crown had mysteriously reappeared.

"You're getting ahead of yourself, that person isn't in front of you yet," said Qing Tian as he gave Sonzai a cold gaze.

Sonzai sighed and chuckled creepily, "Keke, you're right kid. You should help me out then."

"Hahaha!"

"Kakaka!"

Both Qing Tian and Sonzai began to laugh after a moment of silence before Qing Tian reached into the robe he was wearing. After a second, he pulled out a white jade talisman before tossing it over to Sonzai.

"Just carry this around and that bastard will appear before you in five days," said Qing Tian with a chuckle as he walked away, leaving a stunned Sonzai behind.

'Kek, that kid is becoming more sly,' thought Sonzai as he hanged the talisman around his neck with a seemingly ordinary string.

***

Crack!

"Hm?"

In a dark room filled to the brim with various tokens floating in the air, and old man was casually walking around. Every step he took cleaned the dirt and dust in the room and maintained everything in it's most optimal state.

Amidst the silence of the room, a sudden noise had disturbed the thinking of the old man.

Looking around with an annoyed gaze, he found a red token on the floor had broken in half. Reaching out his hand to grab it, the old man was just about to pick it up when it suddenly turned to dust.

"What the hell…" cursed the old man as he stood straight up.

He gazed at the place where the token was just at with a look of terror on his face, seemingly sensing something from a simple talisman.

'A monster has appeared…' thought the old man as he took a step back.

Crack!

Another talisman fell to the ground, this time it's color was green and the old man didn't think much of it.

After all, would you care for the life of an ant?

However, his indifference didn't last long when he suddenly watched that same green token vanish into dust as well.

'W-what?'

The old man took one more step back, feeling the same terrifying aura on that dissipating token.

Crack!

Crack!

Crack!

Crack!

Tokens continued to fall and break on the floor before suddenly dissipating to dust and disappearing forever.

At this point, the old man had fallen on his ass and he was staring at this phenomenon in complete fear. His eyes rolled back and he fell on the floor with a loud thud, foam coming out of his mouth as his body spasmed.

Da! Da! Da!

Bang!

Many footsteps were heard and the sound of a door being violently opened echoed within the room with various talismans breaking and disappearing.

"Elder!"

Rushing into the room was a young man with green hair. His face was filled with worry and tears, seeming natural on that face of his.

Another figure followed behind the man with green hair. This figure carried a black katana over his shoulder and his hair was as white as snow. He was tall and his back was broad, his tall figure was filled with muscles and some might mistake him for a warrior who fights with his fists rather than with a sword.

"The old man only passed out, crybaby Deku," said the white haired man with a ghastly sound to his voice.

'Deku' frowned and glared at the white haired man with killing intent.

"I told you many times not to call me that. Just because I took over his body doesn't mean that I inherited his nicknames! Or should I call you Ichigo as well?"

Chuckling the white haired man waved his hand and dispelled 'Deku's' killing intent with his sword intent. Opening his mouth, 'Ichigo' grinned, "Haha, you're funny. Did I ever tell you that?"

'Deku' froze unter the gaze of 'Ichigo', instantly averting his eyes to the side after remembering who this young man was.

This man had single handedly led his world to destruction after just being there for two weeks. It was unheard of, and it had seeded respect and fear amongst various in the small sect of theirs, [Isekai Kings].

Quickly lifting up the old man effortlessly, 'Deku' instantly ran out of the room with a serious expression on his face.

"Ken, do you think our youngest met someone formidable?" asked 'Deku' as he continued running with two people on him.

Two?

'Deku' was carrying the old man over his shoulders and… on top of his head was the same white haired man from earlier.

"It's quite possible. He was rather arrogant, but he was allowed to be because he had Infinite Ultra Instinct. While in that state, he was practically untouchable unless he met someone that could completely overpower him," said 'Ichigo' with a chilly gaze on his face.

Silence ensued after 'Ichigo' finished speaking.

They had all considered the youngest Isekai King a force to be reckoned with. As long as he grew stronger, his Infinite Ultra Instinct would become even more terrifying.

What was Infinite Ultra Instinct? What a funny question…

Obviously it was the ability to maintain Ultra Instinct forever and being able to turn it off in order to increase the base strength. With a more formidable base strength, the Ultra Instinct state would prove to be a despairing state to other people.

Everyone who had tried to copy the skill would only end up copying Ultra Instinct and not the 'Infinite'.

This phase couldn't be compared to the Dragon Ball Angels' Ultra Instinct. Their Ultra Instinct was already a base state and it was already hard for them to increase in power at all. It was still possible to increase in strength, but it wouldn't be as effective as the Infinite Ultra Instinct.
