Those days where hushed voices
Try to quietly sneak in the room
Failing at being unnoticed
But still asleep enough to ignore it
The giggles, while stifled
Huddle together near the edge of the bed
Counting down to each other
3... 2... 1... And then they jump
Landing on the mattress they shout
"Good morning! Wake up sunshine!"
While they wiggle all around
And tickle me until I barely breathe
It's almost impossible to get upset
When my family wakes me
With such utter happiness and joy
These moments are a few of my dearest
They are my absolutely
Without a doubt
My favorite-est-est-est-est
Mornings all around
