Vivian and Myropsis arrived in the library finding Eldrian deep in contemplation, the book The basics of blacksmithing was closed on the table before him. His eyes were furrowed as he stared at it, seemingly coming to some sort of conclusion. Seeing this, the two gave him some space and talked while waiting for him to find his conclusion.
Eldrian had managed to learn a lot from reading through this book with care. By taking time to digest what he read, by taking time to pause and visualize what was mentioned--it had allowed him to grasp and make much of the information in the book his own.
If his situation was normal he could have learned this slowly through trial and error as most apprentice blacksmiths did. Unfortunately, he did not have much time. While he didn't need to rush quite as much as he was, he couldn't spend his time on something without confirmation that he would gain some results.
