With the 2nd Test drawing near, the student's classes were intensified, and the while academy was very busy. The weekly activities to earn APs still went on as usual, and students could mostly be found in their party training grounds. More and more parties received invitations and dropouts. Amongst the popular party of the academy, the red moon party topped the table.
Rein after dealing with a load of paperwork scaling and reviewing the applicant's talent and jobs. He rested for a while as he stared into the extravagant glass chandelier.
Jon was very surprised when Rein decided to start doing his job as the party leader, something about him changed when he returned. He disturned Zolin over and over again to give him details but Zolin enjoyed the attention and gave nothing in return. Currently, everyone in the Redmoon part was like that. Quetz was always busy being her normal rude and nonchalant self, teasing Rein and being a slut, Jon was starting to get weary of that part of her,
'she would damage the party reputation if she continues that way. How on earth are Imperials trained anyway... not even one of them has manners, Zolin was no better too, of course, that was before the day out with Rein, recently he became silent and focused, that leaves me with Sigrid and the new applicants'
Sigrid Armanoff was the most serious person at the party after Jon. Having witness Rein's overwhelming potential she has been overworking herself so much Jon was now worried it's gonna have a bad effect on her. He doesn't want anyone to get sick before the 2nd test.
Jon dropped the tea on the table for Rein as he leaned on his chair and inspected the people Rein had decided to choose.
"Oh, of all 24 applicants. You only chose 6. What were your criteria for judgement"
"Well, I just connected this with that and that and saw through this and that... "
"Rein...is that suppose to be criteria"
"I don't know how to explain it, it's more like I can see their potential"
'How am I to explain to him, it's because of my high insight stat'
"Wait you mean you can just see people's potential?!"
"Yea... sorta, are you okay"
'Why is he making a fuss about it. . .'
"you know I've read tons of books amidst these books there's one particularly I enjoyed reading, the legacy of Swordsaint Ruther, Swordsaint Ruther was a man that walked the path of the sword and searched for true unity with the sword, he was blessed with a mighty insight, that he was able to see people's potential, strength, he could even read an opponent's movements four moves prior, almost like looking two seconds into the future, he was truly magnificent. . ."
"Don't tell me you think I can also read my opponent ten moves prior. . . I think your hopes for me are getting too high"
"Well it's you, I wouldn't be surprised if you could. That is that, which if this applicants are the best"
"Here this guy"
Reinard shows him the paper.
"hmm"
Jon's eye widened.
"Braschiold Heronoff, seriously an easterner, he's from the empire, how on earth is he unnoticed"
Rein smiled as he nodded his head to Jon's bewildered expression.
'I was like that when I first saw it. Affinity towards four different elementals, plus he is a summoner. If he trains well and has enough mana to handle them, he might even be able to summon celestial spirits.'
"He would be able to summon celestial spirit if he's provided with enough knowledge, this is a jackpot"
"Of course. . .all thanks to me"
"the others are not bad either, mage, swordsman, archer. . .an elf was, even a northerner. The nice decision, I'm proud"
"You should be, well if you'll excuse me. I have a training class with my master"
". . .wait you got a -"
"see ya"
Rein dashed out.
"When did he get a master, even I don't."
**************
Nozick sat down and stared into the boring surrounding.
"Damn why does everything have to be so boring"
𝑟𝑜𝑜𝑜𝑎𝑎𝑟𝑟
"I know buddy, I miss home too, the icebergs, the snows, the kids always playing around the palace, and the part I love most the mongobears. I miss Levotie"
Nozick rubbed his lion's fur as he conversed with it. He glanced down from the high wall he was seated on.
". . . the boy I asked Russ to recruit. . .oh this might be the best time to have some fun"
His white lion Grunder shook its head telling him it would be a very bad idea but he jumped down anyway.
Rein who was so eager about his training with the senile old man matched onwards but suddenly something dropped from on high. Rein was getting sensitive, just before Nozick dropped in front of him, he noticed, stopped and took a few steps backwards. Then Nozick landed in his front, smashing the ground. His lousy nature made Rein very very uncomfortable
'Talk about unnecessary encounters'
"You!"
He pointed to Rein.
"Me?"
Rein pointed to himself.
"Yes you, serve me"
