"After him!!"
Letra's voice could be heard around every corner of the market, the guards had surrounded every area and all four doors were on lockdown. Every single person walking, buying or selling was put under arrest for inspection or till the original culprit is found, what was stolen had not been confirmed yet, but Chief merchant Letra was always on his toes that was how he survived 35 years of service with the Duke. He searched and scorched everywhere before he began to centre his attention towards the slum market, he knew that whatever happened, happened in the market underground that his why he closed all four gates to prevent escape. He was vigilant and tactical, perhaps it was the experience over the years his decision making was smart and sharp, Rein made this judgement as he watched him closely.
The explosion ruined a lot as expected, there was a big hole in the ground which lead to an entirely new view, there was an immediate evacuation of the people to prevent too many speculators.
Zolin stepped forward,
"If you don't mind, I could use my shadows..."
Rein looked at him with eyes that seem to tell him, this is not where to make a joke.
"Its a new skill I learnt in the library, and also a new path I have decided to follow. We should probably talk about this later."
"We should ..."
'I may have been neglecting a lot of things...'
Zolin bent down and touched the floor,
"Activate Shadow skill, disperse shadow minions: find the anyone hidden"
His shadow got wide and immediately dispersed into four different directions and disappeared.
"You should inspect what was stolen till I find the culprit"
"Ah young master's servant, thank you very much..."
Zolin's expression got ugly
'this bastard is calling me a ser-vant... does he not know-'
Rein touched his shoulders with a gentle smile.
'Sly bastard'
Zolin relaxed his face.
"Everyone stays back, only the young master should follow me"
Some moments later they were below, it was a dark city with much bright light, but now it was out of people, the stalls were closed but the Erie shadiness could still be felt.
The chief started,
"Do you know why I'm like this"
"I understand but I can't empathize"
"I like how straight you are, the underground market is very valuable for a reason..."
"The kinds of stuff you sell here are illegal"
He paused and sigh,
"If that was it, I wouldn't be so worried. The Duke has a habit of collecting old and forgotten treasures and relics. And these are stuff that if their existence is known to the world, there would be a shift in balance and a great uproar. That an explosion happened here can never be a coincidence, never!"
'Damn, talking about forgotten relics, I've had a first-hand experience with how powerful they can be with 𝐖𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐃𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐨𝐧 just then.

'This is the first time the system has advised me, but I ain't backing down...I'm not gonna let you tell me what to do'
Rein and the chief merchant entered temple-like storage, the interior of the building lit up the lightness of Rein's heart. There was a comfortable feeling in this place but he still couldn't miss it, the powerful vibe that every entity was giving.
Rein touched his chest,
"it's hard to explain, it's more like I could almost feel this uneasiness and heaviness in my heart but then I don't know why I'm so calm even when their vibe seemed to be piercing my heart"
"As expected of our young master, you are not a weakling. You see these walls..."
He placed his right hand on the shining golden wall.
"...they were made with dragon bones. And these designed with dragon scales. Do you get it now"
"They are forced to submit...."
"Yes ....even though these relics have egos of their own, they cannot but subject to a greater influence even if it's just its scrap"
"But Dragon bones, dragon scales, bow did pa...."
"...sshhhh"
The chief stopped him
"Some things are better left unknown"
'...With Beleth too...now this, I can't help but be wary, I've received a lot of help from him but what if he just ends up being my greatest obstacle.... ... ... I can't help but be concerned...'
The chief approached an opener rectangular box and he turned pale immediately.
"Of all things .. .. .. why did it have to be this?.."
"What used to be here?"
"The King's spectre"
"....what's it suppose to do... or mean"
"King Stephienistiaphi III, an old king of the Central artic, before the union came in view, we are speaking of a relic of over 4000 years ago. King Stephienistiaphi was a very proud and powerful king, he wanted sceptre of power, something that would symbolise his greatness, hence he used the body of a thousand virgins to as woods to the fire that was used to tame the mithril and the blacksmith that forged it died while doing it, the sceptre became egoistic and very powerful, it had the might give the power of a king to a commoner, but instead feeds on their life source and kill them just like it did to King Stephienistiaphi. Anyone who holds it will for sure be enticed by it. That bastard knows how to smooth talk, not to say; it's been over 4000 years, its power and influence would have tremendously risen"
".... we must retrieve it as once"
'a bloodsucking iron monster, nothing good about it, whoever's stole it must be blind'

'...What?...appr-'
He suddenly hears a voice,
"𝙸𝚗𝚝𝚎𝚛𝚎𝚜𝚝𝚒𝚗𝚐."
Rein flinched.
"Chief did you hear that?
"hear what...?"
"The voice just now..."
"It could be one of the relics, young master let's leave since we've confirmed the stolen relic."
"Chief Letra!! we have found the culprit!"
Just then a shadow begins to rise from within where the relics were packed together.
