Rein sighed sadly as the black sword in his hand fell down, after cutting down the neck of the barely living red dragon.
Rein touched the head of the dragon,
'Who would have thought that there was another red dragon apart from Zaldres...'
"I'm sorry, I couldn't save you" he sobbed.
The dragon was placed in black shackles, with a mechanism that was right above it, with large needles that were as big as swords, that pierced the dragon's skin and drew out its blood. Of all dragon resources, their blood was the hardest to come by, because of their healing speed and the fact that a dragon blood dries up under sunlight.
