The day was a warm day and Mika was out on the field playing football with his buddies. Mika loves football, without it he'd more than likely die. As he ran with the ball he felt the wind hitting his face through the helmet, he felt the adrenaline rush through his veins, and he felt free like nothing can dampen his spirits, nothing except the person who tackled him to the ground.
"Ugh." Mika whispered as he put the ball down and stood back up. It's embarrassing whenever you get tackled, but its only practice.
As practice went on Mika began to lose focus on what was happening around him because he was thinking about a certain young man.
"JAMES! PAY ATTENTION AND STOP DAY DREAMING. GET YOUR HEAD BACK INTO THE GAME." Coach Baker yelled.
Mika shakes his head hoping to get Andre out of his head, but nothing worked. He hopes and prays that his coach doesn't notice his lollygagging.
After practice the coach tells the sweaty smelly boys to hit the showers. Mika walks up to his locker and grabs his special soap and goes into the shower.
Tyler steps in and awkwardly stands to the side as far away from Mika as possible. Mika sighs and ignores it. He knows that Tyler is having a hard time processing the fact that his best friend likes all genders.
Once he was done washing his hair and body Mika steps out and wraps a towel around his waist and walks over to his locker to put his clothes on.
Tyler walks over to his locker and awkwardly changes into his clothes keeping his towel up in front of his junk so Mika can't see.
Mika groans and whispers "just because I told you that I like all genders including men especially it doesn't mean I'll make a move on you Tyler, I never have and I never will cause you my best friend."
With that being said Mika slings his book bag over his shoulder, slams his locker shut, and walks out the locker room. He knew he shouldn't of came out to Tyler.
Sadness overwhelms Mika because he feels as tho he's gonna lose his best friend. Sure he has almost the entire school on his side, but that doesn't mean he's close to any of them.
Mika starts the journey home and walks the streets for about ten fifteen minutes until he saw a little flower shop. An idea clicked in Mikas brain and he walks inside to get something for Andre.
The next day Mika struts on into class with a smug look upon his face and beautiful roses in his hand. Today he was going to try and woo Andre over.
Feeling quite proud of his plan, Mika walks up to Andre and smirks when everyone starts cat whistling and cheering him on. Andre looks up at Mika confusion written all over his face with a hint of horror.
"Andre Jackson, I know you don't like me right now, but I like you and I want to start off as friends. Please accept my flowers to you, beautiful."
Mika looks confident on the outside, but on the inside he was freaking out. Andre stares at Mika in horror. He stands up and looks at Mika before taking the flowers and says "your right I don't like you, you only want to be my friend cause you can't handle someone not liking you. No I will not accept these flowers and don't call me beautiful you perve."
Andre walks over to the trash can and throws the roses away before walking out the classroom leaving a stunned Mika behind.
The class was silent until a student says "Oof that's rough man. Better luck next time."
Mika blushes and sits down highly embarrassed. Andre is tough to get and is definitely a challenge that Mika accepts.
