I stayed up all night playing games and managed to level up. But at what cost? Unable to wake up the next morning.
"Miss, lunch is ready- Miss…?"
I was unaware that a maid had entered my room since I was sleeping soundly on my bed. If it was tea break, she wouldn't attempt to wake me up but this is lunchtime. They never let me skip a meal, and are willing to drag me to the dining table no matter what it takes.
"Miss, please wake up," The maid shook my body, but no response. She continued to try different ways and attempted for the last time.
"Pardon my actions, Miss Amanda," The maid said before giving a punch on my belly.
"Ah! Ouch!" I jumped out of bed and my eyelids opened reflexively to see what hit me. I was surprised to see the maid's grinning face in front of me as she crossed her arms in front of her body.
"I'm sorry but that was the ultimate way to wake the Miss, I just had to do it or you'll end up skipping lunch."
