After Eric left, I got up from my bed and headed to the bathroom. I was sweating all over, making me feel uncomfortable to continue to lay in bed. Without further ado, I took a warm shower and I felt much better afterwards. It was near tea break so I thought of looking for Alice first since we haven't interacted much today.
"Alice?" I called out to her as I peeked into her room.
Alice responded instantly when she heard me, "Are you okay now, Miss? Or do you need me to ask your fiance to come over?" Her smile was so bright that I couldn't tell if she was joking or not.
My fiance? This might be a good chance to find out who he is, but I rejected her offer.
"No need. It wouldn't be appropriate to meet him while I'm still not in full health," I replied hesitantly.
