I froze in place after what she said. No, Eric is not manipulating me; that's one thing for sure. Now, what I would like to know is, was she tricked or was she lying intentionally in order to get me to hate Eric?
I took a step back away from Regina instinctively when Mia came to grab me further. Judging by my reaction, I'm guessing that Eric had heard the whisper. Nonetheless, he was calm as ever and did not attempt to defend himself.
The students around us murmured among themselves when it looked like we were going to start a scene. I knew Eric would be able to control himself from snapping out, so I didn't bother to interrupt their "staring competition."
...Or so I thought. The moment of silence broke when Eric opened his mouth to question Regina.
