The caller claimed they were calling from Calnan Coffins. "Sorry to disturb you in your sleep but the coffin is ready," they added.
I was amused. When I checked on them that afternoon, they still weren't done with the draft yet. They must've worked really hard all day. I hope they've gotten some rest.
"I will go to your shop and check it out this afternoon," I answered them without a second thought. It was already long past my bedtime and many eyelids could hardly open anymore.
The caller ended the call after receiving my reply. I turned off my phone and the room lights, getting ready for bed. My blanket was thick so I had to lower the aircon temperature or I'll get sweaty.
I tucked myself to bed and got a good night's sleep. The next morning, I was so tired I didn't want to wake up when my alarm went off. I snoozed it for a few times until I got annoyed. At last, I decided to force my eyelids open or I might be late to school again.
