High noon, shone it's bright yet soft sunlight, the breeze dictates the taste - the pleasure- of the weather. High up in the capital along the end of the Great Knights curvy pathway, what was once a quiet scenic beauty now was consummated by the sound of strong flesh to flesh collisions, the occasional roars and the loud cheering crowd.
A fight between two rippers, in which the King called for the start - And in the beginning, we have our,
Lu the null-man who's skipping about in a place, not moving an inch but up and down, waiting for this behemoth of a man charging in with his mouth agape. Lu however calm but exhilarated for the exchange, taking in the high pressured - intensified air, eyes dead straight gazed at Ratan, he said, "Let's go!".
The arena, a ring of pure - mason-bane - made, hardest and rarest stones in KanSho, with walls of 20 foot encircling the arena, 50 foot in radius, a perfect place for showdowns.
Ratan closing in the distance, 3 foot at a time, he wasn't in an extreme speed but the pressure he lets off was intense. With each distance covered, the idea of a one sided beat down enrupted in the ministers minds, the fast closing distance between the two fighters enlivened the ministers, aching for the kid to be beaten bad, "Look he's frozen in place!" the excessively bearded old minister laughed, in the instant of his comment Sako stood behind him with a green gas formed in a shape of a wide curvy blade - ready for execution, however Lucy brought peace in subduing the assassin. The King pretended to not see Sako's attempt which was further noticed by Szlick who said, "Ahh! Young love, you can't keep it calm!."
"True true!" agreed the King offering a cheer at Szlick and cheered they did - their glass tackled up and clink.
"Say your highness, is it unholy for me to bet?" said Szlick, eyeing the ministers when saying it, which the latter looked at him in disdain.
"A bet? on who wins?" replied the King noticing Szlicks smart verbal attack on the ministers. So did Sir Barrone who just stood in harmony, watching down 20 foot below at the two youngsters - nighing their inevitable clash.
"Wins, losses! a childish dabble my King, my bet's on them both -- on how long!?" said Szlick.
"5 minutes at best!" said the bearded minister who was in utter disdain of the the group, especially Lu and Szlick, the latter exploiting the King's hospitality.
"You sure? Jungle beard?" Szlick enticing the poor minister, who looked like he hit a new high in blood pressure.
"JUNGLE BEARD! AAAHAHAHAHA" laughed Sako, needlessly forced laughter.
"Sorry, sorry!" said Lucy apologizing.
"1000 deins for 5 minutes!" said the agitated bearded minister.
"Are you sure? Minister Manan?" the King asked the excessively bearded old man, "chyes!" answered Manan with some beards stuck in his mouth from in his tantrum.
"1000 for 6 minutes!" another minister said.
"Minister??? what's your name sir?" asked Szlick, with the most innocent of smiles but with a clear sense of provoking the old man.
"Minister Shabadi" he replied abruptly.
"And oh! Sir wise sage, care to wager Sir?" Szlick asked Sir Barrone politely, further antagonizing the ministers.
"I'll wager 10 deins for 6 hours!" Barrone replied, looking up while his right fore finger doing the same.
"6 hours?, it seems old age has caught up to our war hero!" said Minister Manan.
"Not to mention frugal!" said Shadabi.
"Ho-hoho I'm not worthy of such praise!" Barrone replied.
"Minister Ram'nga, what about..?" The King stopped and find the minister asleep, "well it seems you and I are left!" he told Szlick.
"I bet 5000 for 7 hours!" said the King.
"Mee??! I'll bet my undying loyalty and in return I request a permission for a mission particularly handled by your Segasu corp!" said Szlick.
Ahu who has eavesdropping it all, became more surprised.
"Ohhh? you're knowledgeable indeed!" the King remarked - looking at Szlick he saw desire in his eyes.
"Well then, I'm bound to accept, how long is your wager?".
" Until you stop the fight!" Szlick replied.
"Then it's on!".
Below the gallery, Ratan launches forth a face front shoulder tackle - fast but not extreme - Lu dodged the impact courtesy of him skipping and delivered a quick blow with his left downwards - hitting Ratan in the face, the force sent him rolling in the ground but to Lu's surprised Ratan stood up without so much of a scratch even. Ratan bent and cracked his neck and leapt up in the air. Lu stared at the elephant in the sky in awe and thought, 'is he getting faster?' . His thought was shared by Szlick and Sako.
Ratan from the air dropped fist first at Lu, Lu just stood there - letting the ministers think he had gave up - 1 minutes passed and glad they both were - but the impact left them confounded.
Ratan landed his strike - his fist completely covered Lu's face but to his surprise the kid did not budge not even an inch. Further adding to the ministers dismay - Ratan astonished - his arms that struck the blow completely shattered his fist and the elbow dislocated. The King and the rest were amazed - greatly astounded.
Lu kicked the hurt Ratan in the abdomen - a front kick with a thrust - sending the bigger crashing at the wall.
"3 minutes has passed Minister Manan! Iii couldd smell the maaney ~ woooo! " said Szlick singing a bit.
"It's only getting started runt!" replied Manan.
Ratan slowly sat down with a big smile of pure ecstacy, "What's your magic?!" he asked Lu with a thunderous voice.
"Ladies first!" Lu replied.
"Look at my arm!" said Ratan, directing the gaze at his beaten right arm, which was amazingly healing and re-arranging itself.
"So you are a..... mediciner?" asked Lu confused.
"DOCTOR!" Lucy shouted at him.
"THANKS LIAR!" Lu answered back.
"Wahaha! No well almost, oh andd there's something you should know! Boy" A completely healed Ratan finally stood up.
"The more I'm beaten" he said.
"The more stronger he becomes!" said the King, looking proud of his protege but more so the fight, as 'he was once a monger' thought Sir Barrone seeing the excited smile in Dekarora's face.
"Yeeee--- Let's go" said Lu now charging at Ratan with a plan of a soccer kick to his face - 4 minutes.
Ratan did the same - with a shoulder tackle he charges - the speed of the bigger man miscalculated by Lu - Ratan was 10 times faster then before - Lu's planned attack was way off point - slow and before he could start the momentum for the kick - Ratan low stature with his speed tackled Lu in the abdomen.
The impact was for sure a knock out or so Manan and Shabadi thought but to again slap the Minister in the face, the receiving end was indeed Lu but the damage taken wasn't the shirtless kid - 5 minutes passed Manan in total distraught, Shabadi now on edge. Szlick smiled while Sako took the deins from Manan.
Lucy couldn't behold the sight she saw, for a normal girl a brutal grotesque scene is much to bear.
Down the arena Lu was just find, 'Damn I failed to kick the bastard' he thought, and his mind remembered the fight with the katana wielding man from that day.
He looked at his opponent staggering to the left with his face expressing deep profound surprise. His body incomplete - his right shoulders and below just above the waist which Ratan used for the impact was completely torn off, blood gushes out of it while the severed arm bleeds on the floor.
"What?" said Ratan.
"Woah" remarked Lu surprised at his big opponent who was still alive.
"Szlick Lucy he's not dead?!" Lu shouted out his concern as the two berated him for the needless murder before.
"Dead? don't flatter yourself buffoon! that guy is the endless!" said Shabadi with sweats and on edge, since his bet was on the line - 30 seconds to 6 minutes.
"Hey Kid!" Ratan called Lu, still smiling his gaze unfading and focused which surprises Lu
"Abracadabra!" Ratan enchanted.
His recently absent - severed- shoulders and below regrows.
With a smile Lu watched in awe, so did the rest, this elicited Lu for a full on brawl.
"I don't fuck with pain! BRO" said Lu, hearing this Szlick noted that Lu saw a rival in Ratan.
"Aww! That I get a hint off, but you don't know how to fight properly huh?" Ratan noticed the vain attempted kick from Lu earlier, "I like you cocky bastard, allow me to train you" Ratan added a slight diss.
"Train?! Try me then!" said Lu excitedly. - 6 minutes passed.
"The hell are you on about, I losttt you blabbering buffoons!" Shabadi blurted out angry, With a big sinister smile, Sako collected the bet reward.
"Well that leaves the three of us" said the King, all of them watching the fight closely, Lucy partly covering her face but curious for the spectacle, Sako watches Lucy, 'hmm! I may lose in cooking and stuff, I need to learn it orrr I can always spoil her dishes' she thought, her mind was focus on their own private rivalry war, complete confidence in her Master's strength and his assured victory.
"Here I come." said Ratan, setting himself up for another charge.
'He'll be faster this time' thought Lu, judging his stance - he expected another head on collision - and Ratan indeed charges his speed was now instant, close to Szlick which made him a bit surprised.
"Now!" said Lu he puts his knee up hoping for a counter hit.
However, Ratan controlled his momentum and halted right before they collide - making Lu fall - off balance in his stance.
"Huh?" Lu spouted in anger - falling down in the ground.
And immediately Ratan took no wasted moment and struck the off balanced Lu - with a clothesline but which like before tore-d the moment his biceps hit Lu.
Armless yet again but taking no time to recuperate - not losing even a slight milli-second, Ratan immediately slid behind Lu and puts his arm around his throat for a choke hold - all this in an instant - which leaves the inexperienced majority in the audience to gawked at, the speed in Ratan's recovery did a number on them too as within seconds the torn-ed arm regrew.
"Now that's intense!" Sir Barrone remarked, "oh no he got him" said Lucy in fear.
"This looks like it ain't going nowhere!" said Ratan still on the hold.
"Yeaa it's like we're two man doing something and I don't really dig that!" said Lu. His remarked sends an air of awkward silence to all, Ratan too with a blank disgusted look - he let's go of his hold.
"*huuu*" Lu breathed out, acting- patronizing Ratan.
"Let's try that again!" he said. To which Ratan nods with a smile and resumes his start up stance.
Lu too skipped again, 'I feel nimble in this' he thought, the two fighters meet their gaze, highly focus and enthralled.
The noon bright sunlight, shines much harder in Sloan, in the previous massacred village the duo of Wadu and Al arrived, meeting with the bleak villagers - their heavy air now slightly dulled, they exchange hugs and words and explained the situation and news.
"We saw the mines in Pilatun and the men are there!" said Al, on contrary to his fiery - rash demeanor now he seem kind and his expression deeply shared the pain of his villagers, sitting with Sedh, "They'll pay all of them!" he said, to which Sedh the young boy agrees with tears, remembering the man's face who cutted his grandpa's neck.
"That Overlord is pretty evil, huh?", " I hate those type of guys!" said Wadu pitying the villagers of Fuu'ue.
Bartholomew and Dey-Kong continued their journey towards Watchers-keep.
The sun settled low as evening marched guiding the night's slow creeping darkness, the capital shows still a scenic beauty, much complimented by the hill top palace and the green scenery. The rare unusual noise like a child with his first drum toy- the sound of banging flesh and broken bones echoed around - un-rhythmic but intense.
"It's almost 4 hours now, are they still at it?" said Lucy sipping tea.
"Where's the fighting? I can't even see anything!" said Ram'nga who's just recently awoke.
"Aaanytime now!?" said Szlick to the King, hinting the King to stop the fight.
"I'm not losing this bet, Brat!" replied the King.
"So his power or magic is not feeling pain to put it simply... How does that explain his extreme strength and speed!?" asked Sir Barrone.
"It's simple, the idiot did push ups for months without a single break he also ran and ran nonstop once!" Szlick answered.
"Umm!! Theenn why isn't he veeery big!" said Lucy.
"What do I look so wise? maybe his powers or something, I don't know" ranted Szlick - slightly annoyed for all the focus Lu's gained from the chicks. The gallery audience were sitting round in a table, with a party of meat, drinks and food if many kind which only a King could throw.
Too fast for the untrained eye the two fighters move light speed.
Lu fought like a beast still - a straight technique absent brawl.
Ratan the more experienced - dodges and block Lu's hits - and for every strike he threw, he lost that -particular limb- but just as he lost it, it regenerated almost in the same time.
A fight - of the tireless and endless. A stalemate as of now - an immovable force and an ever increasing force, head to head - the result is a spectacle which can't be Comprehended.
Suddenly, "Papa!" a young Damien called out to the King excitedly. Behind him was the Queen.
"My boy!!" with open arms the King receives the younger of his beloved son.
"*ahem*" the Queen voiced her presence without a word.
"My dear! meet my guests, Szlick, Lucy and Sako!" said Dekadora, introducing the group.
"Right!! so this is the Fun inc, where's the other one? wasn't there two boys?" the Queen asks.
"Oh my partner? My lady! he's down there" said Szlick, slick and mannered.
"I don't see him!" she said looking down the arena, and stood frozen in disgust and astonishment.
"I wanna see too!" said Damien but the King told him"No", a rebellious kid - he took a peep and wondered and asked, "Are those uncooked meats?".
" Ye-yes" King Dekadora replied
"Yes a bunch of fresh steaks! " said Sir Barrone with a senile quiet laughter.
The Queen sat besides the King, 'Wow such Elegance' though Lucy and Sako, their eyes glued to the Queen's actions and behaviour in the table, taking in her elegant movement and all in mind, storing it for later use.
'this will be a huge level up' they both said.
"Where's Ahu!" asked the King.
"Oh he left in a hurry, about something important in the capital, he sends his regards and apology" answered the Queen, "Aww!! I rally wanted to see the fight!" she said, cute and beautiful - hers words declined the meaning of age, and yet again the two rivals lock this down on their memory.
"I'd love to see you meet with Ahu!, you know there are people who just talks brilliantly" King Dekadora told Szlick.
"Yeah yeah sure, call it already sire!" replied Szlick.
Down in the arena, Lu and Ratan continued their bout - head to head - neither backing down, thier pride won't allow it - more so - the exhilarating thrill of the fight wad addictive, neither has ever had an opponent as closely knitted in design to each other.
A barrage of instant fast punches and kicks from both, some dodged and some hits, on the receiving end was always Ratan, however his broken, severed arms and legs sometimes even his head recuperated in the moment of the damage. The maison-bane made arena stood firm and hold true in it's nature, it stood mighty and not a dent in any corner - instead the decapitated chunks of Ratan's arms, legs and heads made a new floor for the sturdy arena.
The two brawlers still in their barbaric dance still no ordinary ones to see- they stared dead at each other 'the one who look away loses' they thought - and each equip with deep wide creepy smile - simply there to blend with their on-going show of power.
