A/N: Classes have been hectic. I had to write a 20 page paper for my Psychology class and I had to work of a Literary Trailer for my English class. This is only two of the main reasons why I have been so busy and have not been able to update this story. I hope you all enjoy this chapter.

Konohagakure, the Village Hidden by Leaves, housed many accomplished and powerful shinobi. One was hard pressed to find such a well established and protected village at a vulnerable state, with most of the Village's power houses being absent for missions. It was only due to one of Konoha's traitors that the village became in such a vulnerable state with the rest of the Village's shinobi stretched across Konoha doing jobs ranging from odd labor to guard duty. It was in this defenseless state that a gap in the guarding allowed a pair of white haired twins to sneak within the shadows of Konoha.
Sakon and Ukon, white haired twins that held the ability to share each other's body and the body of anyone who drew close enough, were able to bypass the two sentry guards at the top of the damaged wall that surrounded Hi no Kuni's (Land of Fire) currently injured shinobi village. Having been well informed on the employees and location of the T.I. Department by his group leader, Kimimaro, the twins caught two of the T.I. shinobi off guard once they were leaving the solid crème building. Fusing their cells with those of their captives, Sakon and Ukon made easy work in manipulating the two males and gained access to the infamous Konoha building.
'Second floor…fifth room…stay to the left,'
The forced whereabouts of Kabuto Yakushi flowed through the twins' minds, their link shared through the bond they had forged even before their first breath in this sado-masochistic world. To them, only those who enjoy causing others pain become shinobi and those who enjoy taking the pain become the recurring victims. The twins….they greatly enjoys causing others pain. With their abilities, they could cause horrific amounts of pain at a cellular level, they were safe within their pain-stricken victims just as long as their victims did not find out the twins' weakness.
Creeping to a stop outside the appointed solid white door, Sakon and Ukon listened closely for any sign of someone being inside the room with Orochimaru's apprentice. Hearing no one, but not at all taking the silence as evidence of Kabuto being alone, the twins' put Kimimaro's plan into action. Forcing panic to appear on their captives' blank expressions, Sakon and Ukon burst into Kabuto's interrogation room, both roaming the stark white room with fearful eyes. Seeing no one but a slumped over Kabuto, Ukon ran over to his master's apprentice and unlatched the metal straps holding the medic down. The ground shook, tremors being felt from Jirobo's earthquake.
Each twin took one of Kabuto's arms, the two began to drag the unconscious medic from the building, pressing forward despite the questioning and alarmed looks they were getting while exiting the building. Jirobo stood at the front of the building, his hands dug firmly into the ground up to his wrists, ready to bring the building down. Forcing themselves out of their captives in the most painful way they knew, Sakon and Ukon merged into one while Jirobo hefted Kabuto over his back and the three retreated just as the first wave of shinobi made it to the scene.

Feeling the ground shake and the familiar sounds of warning shouts, the newly promoted Chunins of Team Seven changed their direction from the Uchiha Compound to check out the growing commotion. Arriving along with a cursing Ibiki and furious Anko, the five stared with wide eyes as the T.I. Department began to crumble. Ibiki and Anko wasted no time in helping their two fallen comrades, dragging them out of the way of the falling debris.
"Who did this?" Sakura asked her two teammates, emerald orbs glancing around the surrounding area.
"Whoever it was is still close," Sasuke voiced tensely, the three automatically getting into formation and racing off in the only other direction an intruder could have gone.
Team Seven spotted a newly promoted Shikamaru and his teammate Choji, along with Team Eight's Kiba and Akamaru, and Team Nine's Neji Hyuga, speeding out of the front gate with determined auras. Team Seven caught up to the makeshift team and were informed by Shikarmaru that while having been in the presence of Konoha's Godaime Hokage during the infiltration, the sole Chunin and three genin were ordered to retrieve what had been taken by enemy shinobi. Understanding the lack of available shinobi for such a mission, Shikamaru had accepted along with the other three.
"There are five…no, there are six of them. One is currently being carried, most likely the one we are ordered to retrieve," Neji spoke quietly, his Byakugan activated.
Sasuke's obsidian orbs formed into his three tomoe Sharingan and could begin to make out the barest hints of tracks left behind by the enemy group. Naruto and Sakura flanked Sasuke's sides, traveling slightly behind the Uchiha in a triangle formation. Shikamaru's team sped through the trees in a similar fashion, only their group formed a diamond.
"We'll go by ground, you four stick to the trees. We can't let them get away," Sasuke stated and without hesitation, Team Seven dropped to the ground.
"Who made him leader?" Kiba huffed, getting a muffled yip from Akamaru.
Shikamaru glanced at Kiba from over his shoulder, but Neji was the one to answer.
"Team Seven in comprised of all Chunin, which outranks you, Choji-san and I," Neji stated, earning a gaping look from Kiba.
"You mean that dobe can give me orders and I'd have to follow them?" Kiba questioned, talking about Team Seven's blonde knuckle head.
Shikamaru grinned while Neji smirked. Choji attempted to fight off a smile, but it won in the end. Kiba released a huff of hot air and clentched his teeth. He would become a Chunin if it was the last thing he ever did. No way would he take orders from that blonde. Seeing as Team Seven was getting ahead of them, the four turned serious again and sped up.

The pursuit led well into the night, forcing both Konoha teams to rejoin on the ground and slow down least they trip a hidden trap set by the enemy group. Neji and Sasuke led the two teams cautiously, their doujutsus giving them the nightly advantage of seeing in front of them. Both males came to a sudden halt, their dojutsus glancing quickly from one spot to another, both downcast with furrowed brows. Neji looked, his frown deepening.
"What is it?" Shikamaru asked, kneeling down beside Sasuke.
With a steady hand, Sasuke ran his finger underneath an invisible line that only he and Neji could see. Kiba gave the air a long sniff and tensed.
"Traps, a lot of them," Kiba spoke in a whisper, knowing that a large amount of traps meant that the enemy could be close by.
"Where are they? I don't see any traps," Naruto questioned from his spot beside Sakura.
"It's some kind of thread…I've seen this before, but where?" Sasuke muttered, eyeing the thread. "Spiders."
"What? Spiders? But Yami-sensei is away on a mission," Sakura voiced, squinting her eyes at the thread over Sasuke's hand.
Sasuke shook his head.
"There can be more than one person to summon a specific species, Sakura-chan. Me and Ero-Sennin's (Pervy Sage) toad summons prove that," Naruto stated, showing his hidden intellect for a second.
"So there is someone else who can summon arachnids and we have to face them?" Choji squeaked; him and Kiba sharing identical pale faces at the thought of having to fight someone like Team Seven's sensei.
Straightening to his feet, Sasuke and Neji exchanged a glance and a nod before they began to carefully make their way over the many invisible threads. Once they reached the other side, the two turned to face the others.
"Step where we did and be able to freeze when we tell you," Sasuke told them.
It was a long and slow process, but eventually everyone was on the other side of the traps. Unbeknownst to them, there were a second, even thinner thread right below the last trap line and they had triggered it. Vibrations traveled along the second thread, giving gentle tugs to whatever was attached at the end. It was only when the sun began to rise that the group encountered their enemies, only this time…there was no time to avoid the next trap.
"Doton Kekkai: Dorō Dōmu (Earth Style Barrier: Earth Dome Prison)!" Jirobo, the heavyset member of Orochimaru's Sound Four, surrounded the ground of Konoha shinobi in a quick forming dome of hardened earth.
A/N to fanfictionnatic: I hope the breakout did not disappoint. I was having a little writer's block and it came out the way it did.
