HOSPITAL
Daniel anxiously rushed in with Tatiana in his arms, devastated.
" Help us, please. My daughter and my wife are dying ", he shouted.
Some nurses approached with a stretcher. One of them took Tatiana away to be attended to. Daniel gazed at their back, worriedly.
" Where is your wife?", one queried.
" Come, I'll show you. She's in the car "
Daniel hurriedly led them to his car. Leyla laid in the back seat unconscious. The seat were socked with her blood.
" Stand aside please ", one shouted. Daniel hurriedly and nervously stepped aside while they gently carried Leyla from the car unto the stretcher.
Daniel sped after them as they hurriedly drove her through the corridor towards the emergency ward.
" Hang in there, Leyla, please", he cried.
" You've got to wait here, sir. You can't come in", said one of the nurses as they close the door behind.
Daniel gazed at the door with tears in his eyes and faint to the floor, desperate.
FEW MINUTES LATER
Damsel and Stephen rushed in, frustrated. They sped to the counter where some nurses stood attending to some folders with Tiana.
" Help us, please, my baby is dying !!", Damsel cried.
A nurse rushed to her and took the baby.
" Come, please. Let me have her".
The nurse dashed off to the babies ward with Tatiana. Stephen and Damsel rushed after her.
" No, please , you can't come any further. Kindly stay here ", said the nurse and closed the door.
" No, please, my baby !!!! Stephen ", cried Damsel, hugging Stephen in tears.
Stephen gazed at the door with tears in his eyes, patting Damsel's back.
" Is okay, dear. Calm down, Tiana will be fine, trust me".
She nodded in tears. Stephen held her and led her to a chair at the corridor.
" Sit here and rest your head on my shoulders. Everything will be alright".
Damsel sat beside him and gently placed her head on his shoulder. Stephen gazed nervously at her and kissed her forehead, slowly passing his hand through her hairs.
" God, please save our baby", murmured Stephen in his thoughts and sighed.
HOURS LATER
Daniel sat on a chair along the corridor, fast asleep. A nurse rushed out of the emergency ward, calling.
" Hurry, Freda( a nurse). Tatiana's line is falling. We need to rush her to the emergency ward now"
Daniel immediately woke up from his sleeping upon hearing the noises.
" Hi, nurse, please how is my baby and my wife?", he called to a nurse passing by.
" Your wife is fine sir", answered the nurse hastily.
"Hurry over now, Freda, else we lose Tatiana", a nurse interrupted.
Daniel starred anxiously at them, confused.
" Hey, wait. what happened to my Tatiana? Talk to me please "
" Sorry, sir, I've got to rush off now", answered Freda, rushing off.
He gazed at her back devastated, " What the hell is going on here? Someone please talk to me ", he exclaimed.

Stephen sat nervously starring at the emergency ward with Damsel's head on his shoulder, asleep. Suddenly the door rack opened, Stephen held Damsel's hand and got up," let's go dear, a nurse came out"
" Where? where is she? Is Tiana, Okay? "
" Let's ask her before she goes back in"
They both rushed towards the nurse who was hastily approaching the counter.
" Nurse!! Nurse!!!!! ", Stephen's voice echoed, drawing her attention.
" How may I help you, sir?"
" Hi, we're Tiana's parents, the baby who was rushed to the emergency ward, burning with fever"
" Oh, right. She's in critical condition now and we need to get our experienced surgeons to start working on her"
" What? !! How ? Oh my God", Damsel cried.
The nurse drew closer to her and held her shoulder.
" Don't worry, ma'am, everything will be alright. Let's keep praying. Huh?"
She nodded in tears. The nurse turned to Stephen and sighed, " Please take care of her, I assure you , your daughter will be alright. okay? I got to go now"
" Alright, thanks, ma'am"
The nurse nodded and and rushed off. Damsel hugged Stephen shuttered in tears. He brushed his hand on her back, consolingly.
" Please, honey, you heard what the nurse said. You got to calm down and stay strong for our baby,please ".
She nodded and hugged him. Stephen kissed her head and hugged her as well.
