Aiden's POV
The words that my little sister told me earlier rings inside my head like the annoying ring bell in school as my mind blank while I play with them.
Soon after, a Chore Robot announces from the door that dinner is almost ready and Lady Madeleine wants us there in a minute. Because of that, my mind wakes up at the word of dinner as I put Abby between my head while she giggles in delight. Doggie follows us as I open the door for both of us to exit the room.
Once he got out he floats immediately from the ground as he sprints down once he smelt his 'Food'. I heard everybody laugh at his antics, probably he's making a mess again, as it soon went down followed by an intense silence I've never felt in a long time.
Even if we are still upstairs I could still feel the intensity of stress and because of their silences, they make in the dining room.
Heck, they even look like when they were in the hospital's waiting area when Lady Madeleine's was still pregnant and she accidentally slipped because of the water on the floor.
Abby, of course being a carefree kid, didn't mind nor felt any of this as she beams like a beacon as soon as she saw our uncle. Uncle Red noticed our presence as his earlier gloomy and stressed aura surrounding him, beams like a child-like Abby did as soon as he saw the family's little princess.
"Uncle!" she says in delight as both of her short chubby arms tries to reach him. Uncle sits up as he reaches and then cradles her between his arms.
"Hello, there little princess did you miss Uncle Red, hmm?"
"Yeah! Abby missed you a lot" she says while giggling as her smile stretch to her ears as her bright blue eyes with, a hint of green, twinkles like whenever she saw the see-saw in the playground.
Uncle Red smiles back at her as he kisses her on both cheeks before he tickles her to her armpits. The giggles and laughter intensify as the earlier gloomy atmosphere completely disappear as the two couple joins the laughings.
Whenever this moment happens I can't help but feel the warmth inside my chest growing as my whole being shiver in delight because of it and I can't help but think of how lucky I am to have them. The bad moments and my nightmares fade like a dying star whenever I experience this kind of moment.
I feel like the cold universe I usually had because of my past fading little by little as a star starts to form... until that star completely warms my universe... I imagine the old and cold of me reach for that star and seek its warmth as it also completely embrace my whole being... warming my whole being completely without hesitance...
They are my star... my family.

A day had passed and we are far from getting clues or anything and this made us all frustrated than ever. Especially Lady Madeleine because according to her, She read the code as "
"What's your report Aiden," Lady Madeleine says as she looks sternly at me in the eyes as if horrifically seeking my soul that once I lie I will die in her hands. Uncle Red was on her left accessing data to his personal computer while Master Luke writes something on his notepad. They both look so serious and gloomy that even a crow would be shameful to caw. The heaviness of the atmosphere is not new to me but it still makes me sweat and feel a bit uncomfortable.
"While we were in the meeting room, I didn't notice anything suspicious besides the secretary of Director William. At the end of the meeting, he purposely gave me the wrong flash drive which is weird. Luckily I checked the content first before I receive it... He'll probably be dead sooner or later because of his clumsy mistake." I reported as uncle Red and Lady Madeleine nods in agreement. A frown forming on her face as baby hairs keep messing with her eyes as she pulls back the anti-radiation glasses she's wearing.
"you're right, we have to track him down first and interrogate him but we are too far away from him so we'll scratch that... hiring a skilled hacker would be dangerous but asking one from the bureau might alert the 'holes' inside the CIA or FBI... like as you said, if the so-called secretary could slip easily within our security then anyone could..." She says,most-likely voicing out her thoughts while frowning like a black trump card she is while both uncle Red and I nodded at her analyzation.
"I'll try to make another 'mission robot' to track him down, a bunch even, so that we could find clues without risking suspicion on us." Master Luke says suddenly as our head turns around to his spot. His focus was still on his laptop as his notepad bouncing on his lap because of an artificial limb that bounces up and down whenever he's focus is at peak.
"Yeah we could do that since there are a lot of people who make robots, but all we could do is to make an ordinary-looking one." Uncle Red added while Lady Madeleine folds her arms to her chest as she stares blankly at her ballpen. A quiet and tense atmosphere surrounds the who space as the adults think of a clean plan that they could control on their hands but, like usual, it will take some time. I guess we are going to make a bunch of mission robots before the secretary dies.
We can't report the traitor to the chairman, we can't risk his life nor our life because if he manages to go close, too close actually, to Chair. William, then there might be also some holes that surround him...
How careless he could be?
His carelessness annoys me to the peak.
"Either way we have to find a hacker expert just in case, Aiden I trust you with that and also help Luke in making 'mission robots' while Red and I will plan everything. Dismissed" She said sternly as uncle Red and I nodded at her before we leave the office, Master Luke stays as he continues his own thing.
Uncle Red close the door as we both walk away from the office. "Do you have a girlfriend already?" my Uncle suddenly asks out of nowhere making me stop at my track, I look at him in displeasure as he turns around to face me. He smirks at me as he looks at me with a playful look. "When are you going to have one? you are nearly nineteen years old, are going to die young and virgin?" Uncle red asks with a smirk as he continues to irritate me. My eyes narrow at annoyance as my face appear an emotion that made him out loud.
"Why do you dislike women that much? I could understand if you hate a Fem-Robot, well because they're robots" He shrugs yet his smirk never leave his face that made me want to punch him suddenly even though I respect him too much... Love talk always annoys me because I am not planning to have one. Just thinking about having a relationship makes me want to puke. I'll rather see everyone happy with their 'love of their life' and protecting this family than having one of my own. I just don't like being showing my vulnerable to someone I barely knew. It sucks.
"But trying to have one night stand won't hurt right... I mean, not be the bad uncle here. S*x is part of your growth—"
"But I believe that I won't need to experience 'that' just to grow, uncle. I don't care about anything of that, neither you have a relationship yourself anyway."
"Well, I'm different!"
"So..? you act like dad please stop it didn't suit you," I said with an annoyed tone as I walk away and made my way to my little 'princess' room. I heard footsteps from behind as Uncle Red follows me to Abby's room.
"Do you...perhaps..um, like men?"
"What the— why would you think that?!" I ask as my voice rises a little as my eyes wide as saucers as my face twist in disgust and shock... Having a relationship with either sex made me want to puke up. period.
"Look I am just concern, ok. You focus on protecting your family, I know that when something happens to one of them you'll go beserk and unstoppable... you have to take care of yourself too but if you cant at least have someone who can be there beside you... Yes, you have us, but what will happen if we don't exist or we...just die suddenly" He whispers the last part in caution but it still made me flinch as the dream I had earlier flashes clearly inside my head, like it a very traumatic event that happens to me. I gulp a mouthful of saliva as I calm myself down looking down at the floor as I clench my hand to my sides.
"I know...but it's disgusting" I whisper but enough for him to hear me as he laugh out loud at my confession. I felt my cheeks get hotter as awkwardly look at the floor.
"Alright then maybe you are asexual or something... but please take care of yourself too, ok?" He says as he patted my shoulder, I nodded at him but I think it'll be hard for me to take care of myself ...I mean I really don't care about myself and I only care about the upgrades and what I could enhance to my machine body.
"Let's check Abby for a bit. It's already nine in the evening on my watch, she might be still playing with doggie or watching some cartoons." He suggested after he checks the watch on his wrist as we walk our way to Abby's room.

My last exam just ended earlier and I have enough time to write more chapters so I might come back to my regular uploads ♡´･ᴗ･`♡.
