"France is healthy but he's been meeting other girls behind my back." I said. Well, I have to pretend to be that crazy bitch.
"I see." The trader answered. "So… before you leave milady, the bandits that we paid to kidnapped more kids are backing out. I don't know why but I guess your husband is making a move to the borders. If this continues, we might run out of business. Can you please convince your husband to sign some papers like you used to before?" The reader asked. I knew it, that crazy bitch marchioness is doing illegal stuff.
"You know that it is not easy, that man is so upright." I commented and act as if I know France.
"I just wished that he is someone like you. Well, we can give you again that drug and you can use it to him. In exchange, I can give you the slave you will chose for free and if you want you can have two." The trader offered.
"Well that is a good deal, ok, you can just get me that drug and bring me that man with black hair." I said.
The trader left and Luke held my hand. I just nodded since we don't know if there is an eaves dropping spell in this place. After a few minutes, the trader went back and handed me a bottle of a drug. He pulled the chains of the slave and handed it to me. I can see that he is under some submitting spell. Behind this spell, I can see how miserable he is and his handsome face that can compete with Luke is so majestic. I raised my hand and wanted to touch it but Luke grabbed my hand.
"Milady, you should not touch this creature just yet they are still dirty." Luke said.
I withdrew my hand and steps out of the door. Suddenly, the young thief runs towards me and begged me to take him with him. I suddenly, raised my hand and grabbed him in his collar.
"And what can you possibly do for me?" I asked in Han language. I know that he won't understand me because he is an Eleanorean.

"Please, please bring me with you. I can't understand you but I can clean your shoes and run some errands." The kid begs. He speaks in his language but I can perfectly understand him. The trader slaps the kid and this made Luke jolted a little bit.
The trader slap the kid twice and I can see somehow that the slave that I am holding is reacting. I concluded that if he is not under the spell, he will eventually jump in and beat the trader. I actually can stop it but I let him watch while the trader is beating the poor boy. Interesting, he seems fighting the effect of the drug. I stopped the trader and told him that I will also take the boy with me. The trader warned me about how sly the kid is but I insisted.
In the carriage, the boy and the man are sitting together. The kid is beaten up badly and the man is still speechless. I stared at them.
"What are you going to do with these slaves? Legally you've became their master. Don't tell me that you are going to make this man really your slave?" Luke wondered.
"No… but I am amused to this pair. There might some hidden story behind this two so I am going to take them with me. Well, if you don't mind about it?" I said.
"Taking the kid wont harm your reputation but this man… I'm afraid that it can actually ruin your reputation." Luke worries.
"I've gotta be honest with you. After this drama and everything, I am planning to cancel our engagement. The truth is I just found out recently that I am actually engaged with you. But you see, I don't plan on marrying yet." I said.
Luke sighed. He just smiled at me and told me that I should rethink of it. I insisted that I don't really want to marry him. But his face is showing that he is not agreeing with it and in the same time he is not also worried. It is clearly that he also doesn't see me as a potential lover but somehow, he doesn't want to let me go. Why?
That night we didn't waste any time but we told the duke what we found and it is indeed confirmed that the marchioness Genevie has something to do with the illegal tradings happening. France, couldn't handle the news and he breaks down into tears. I can see a real love after seeing him crying like that. It must be painful and I don't want to experience that.
The next day, the duke found out that I did purchased some slaves with me and there is a man in his twenties included. The duchess spoke with me and said that it is not right for me to have a slave around me especially when I am not yet married. But I didn't listen to their words.
That afternoon, France locked his wife in their room and the raid started. The illegal slave traders are caught and the trader confessed that the Marchioness Genevie Suitare Azure is part of it. Genevie heard what happened and she pleaded that she was been set up. But she couldn't escape this one because both Luke and France witnessed it. All the evidence is pointing at the marchioness.
France also found some illegal businesses documents that the marchioness has and was named under his name. If the palace finds this out, France will surely be hanged publicly even though he is not guilty. Even though they wanted to hide this matter, the princess is indeed around and she knew everything that happened. Lying to the king is a grave danger therefore they just wrote a letter concerning the matter.
After three days, the response for the letter was handed to the duke and they couldn't handle the punishment. Because France failed to protect the dignity for being the marquis, he is now dethroned being one and was sent to the kingdom of Eleanor to stablish a new state. The state will be given a new title as one of the states. Which means, the small kingdom of Eleanor is no more a kingdom but a state of Kingdom Hana, ruled under the reign of the crown prince.
The bitch marchioness was banished from the kingdom and is ban to enter any states of the kingdom. The king also nullifies the marriage between her and France. The marchioness of Suitare will be now living outside the kingdom as a refugee to another kingdom. The state of Suitare is given back to the relatives of Genevie.
The punishment is indeed cruel but that is how it is.
That night, the duke was sad hearing that his son will be thrown into a secluded area where he doesn't know anyone.
However, I must secure my future and claimed that I am cancelling my marriage with Luke. The duke was shocked but I don't really like Luke as a lover but a friend. It will be hard for the both of us.
Before I claim my cancellation of my engagement to the Duke of Cleiden, I wrote a letter to my parents asking their permission. Well, my parents gave me the full decision and I decided that I will really annul our engagement. Luke sighed and ended up agreeing to my decision. He told me that he doesn't want to annul our engagement because of the connection we are going to establish.
To be honest, Luke is indeed an ideal husband but I couldn't see him like that. However, I reassured him that I will help them if they needed me. Instead of marriage collaboration, I proposed an alliance through friendship. I know that I don't have a power to decide between two states but I can help to persuade my parents and Silvester. The duke decided that they will do so what I proposed since the West is now vulnerable to any dagger and badly need help from it neighbor states.
Even our engagement is annulled, Luke and I stayed friends and we promise that we will help each other in the future if needed. I told Luke my reason why I don't want to get married yet and he completely understand me. We concluded that if we indeed marry now; we might divorce in the near future. Luke told me that he also fancies another girl but it is impossible for him to like her now. I encouraged him that if there still a way to get that girl he should go for it. In the same time, we agreed without our parents knowing, without politics included, that in the near future if we are still single, we will get married.
In that simple agreement, we decided to separate our ways and if destiny brings us back then we will let the destiny move our lives.
We left the west that very same day and the princess decided to indeed marry Nate in the future. Well, the princess distanced herself to Arthur after hearing what happened to the marchioness. However, Nate and Arthur's friendship became stronger.
After a whole day of traveling we finally arrived at the capital, we escorted the princess back to the palace. The king asks me to meet him privately.
"I heard that you purchased two slaves from the west, and you cancelled your engagement with the duke's son. I read your reason but I just can't manage to read you anymore. Tell me the truth? Why did you purchase two slaves from the kingdom Eleanor?" The king asked me with dominance. The truth is I am scared to him but I cannot say my true motive.
"Your highness, I supposedly going to purchased one slave because I think I needed one. However, the younger slave somehow begged me to purchase him. That is the only reason why I did purchased them. Even though I am known for being a tyrant, I never did harm the reputation of the kingdom. I don't care whether people destroy my reputation because what is worse than being named a banned noble and being a mass murderer." I said.
The king didn't ask further question and just sent me away. There is nothing wrong purchasing slaves but for a lady that is not yet married and fa more cancelled her engagement is actually a big deal. Noble young men will actually refuse your proposal if ever they find it out. Luke is a nice person and further more he is responsible.
