As the Black Moon had expanded so abruptly then flying out from between Naraku's hands, those still on this World, the few amount remaining of the limited populous; were witness to this horrifying sight. The Maze had attracted bits of the Earth against its exterior, as Sunni held Whitney in her arms, devoid of a right arm, she stared up with Ed. Beau and Johnson are near the younger ones, the only ones missing being Genesis, Emma, and Mei, their female counterparts. Edmund's skin had peeled right over his ablaze skeleton, hair fluffing outward facing the back of the battlefield, his best friend hesitantly sticking out a hand to stop his foot stepping forward, Beau Edmund, son of the Smoldering Chariot stared upward to spot the incoming threat.
She was beautiful physically, though most of her facial features were discernible thanks to that concealing hood hiding her skull's skin shape, black wings the same as Lucifer's spread out from her back. Arms spread out from each part of her curved figure, Rahab, The Right Hand Archangel to the Demon Prince, had descended from the Heavens to greet the insolent mortals below her that dared to call themselves her enemies,
"Cease your lives, foolish children. You believe this to be the end, stupidly. Fortunately, you couldn't be more right. This might be the end for your pessant-sized world and yet... there lays another beginning for you. In the New World our Lord and Savior foretells in His future, He preaches of eternal peace between humans, Angels, demons. Time, without war, without hatred, corruption. You stay in the way of Humanity's True Happiness. Resilient beings, please die- and become sages," As the Female Archangel of the Incarnations floated down from the Heavens splitting open, the battle began.
As the beloved benevolent Angel graced the land with her presence, she dramatically bowed, allowing for an incoming attack as Beau charged forward bearing his fist-raising it as fire surrounding his knuckles. The heat was immense, not only enveloping the outside of his skin but then seeping gradually into his flesh so it could burn away and reveal a charred skeletal limb, a shell of what it formerly was. Red eyes leaving a light trail as he zoomed ahead, he punched right at where her chest formerly was, before she stepped right out the way- time slowing as she did, the Archangel parted her lips with a mocking smirk,
"Did you really think you'd be able to land an obvious punch like that?" Rahab sarcastically questioned the enemy, Edmund gasping, she grabbed at his throat then throwing him right ahead.
Back skidding across the half-destroyed nature ground below him, Beau felt his skin regenerate slowly, Matt stepping up pulling down his sleeves, Edward cracked his neck punching his fist into his palm. Slowly standing up, Edmund enclosed his fingers to make fists, feeling the blaze dormant in his heart manifest, therefore spreading throughout his anatomy entirely,
"Oh? Am I supposed to be scared of you three right now..?" Yet again, the Archangel asked menacingly with an irritating menacing grin infecting her lips, Johnson felt his eyebrow downturn, slamming his fist right into the ground.
A trail of spiking ice manifested from the punch right toward her body, Rahab easily levitating above it, the icicles widened and expanded their range so they could reach further toward her. Swiping her hand easily across the tip barely reaching her chin, she was met with the sight of the flaming Beau aiming right at her aiming another of those obvious punches at her face,
"Trying to fool me, eh?!" She yelled out audibly impressed, then grabbing the punch with her palm, she absorbed the kinetic energy laced into it and smirked, moving the knuckles right out her view so she could face him,
"How useless," Rahab continued, aiming right for a simple uppercut right there, Edmund let two laser waves blast against her eyes from inside his pupils, causing her to enclose her orbs with her eyelids, she groaned in pain slapping him to the side, holding her face,
"Pathetic brats!" She angrily cried, Beau fell to the left, soaring away, Matt went after him- but as Rahab's lashes fluttered open, there Ed was with his arms behind him detonating his sweat to make for his ascension. Charging right ahead so she could go for the chokehold easily with her extremities pointed forward, Singh dodged out the way pushing out his left palm letting an explosion direct him to the right. Sticking out both hands as he descended, the moment his finger stroked the winds, it exploded in a ball of smoke and fire, her hand raising, she scoffed annoyingly. Unwavering in placement, the shockwave not affecting her in the slightest, Rahab touched her feet to the ground then stepping back, she shook her head from side to side.
In the corner of her eye, there it came, another blast of fire she was forced to backflip over, momentarily flying- icicles slowly flew past her face. Watching their slow trajectory in mid-air, the Archangel locked her eyes forward spotting Matt with one hand pointed upward, pushing out weaponized glaciers from his perpetual chilly temperature. More came right out aimed at her face targeted downward, but she took the time she momentarily held in this awkward pose to move her hands, raising limbs to cover her face. None of them were thrown with enough force to puncture her skin, it seemed they were quite weak, Rahab noticing this as the projectiles shattered the second they brushed on her wrists' backside.
Thudding against the ground, she touched her forehead with her index finger, Johnson took this chance to run right up with a sword dragging along the ground below. Just as he was about to slash her face, twirling around as he swung his arm, metallic sword stopping just against the infinity between the icy weaponry and Rahab. Handle slowly squeezing the arms he bore, Johnson gritted his teeth, using his other hand to push the blade further, he was slapped back by an invisible shockwave sending him to where Ed was jogging. Sliding under his body, Eddie jumped into the air pointing his hands right below at her face. BOOM BOOM BOOM! Went his extended palms, closing the distance among the fighters, the Archangel.... now had the same layered eyes as her Devil King. The best way to describe the Six Eyes of Sin was complete and utter chaos, staring right into them had induced paralysis, leaving Ed's defense open once his eyes widened, she ran ahead to punch him across the jaw so he could go flying into the air.
Finally, Johnson had his turn, once again running ahead branding a new sword. Rahab, submerging one of Lucifer's wings, just smirked and ran ahead so their weapons could meet. The Archangel's knuckles clanging against the young Disciple's frosty katana, they moved back, each of them throwing attacks. Matt charging his downward slash as he raised his hands, crying out while increasing his speed, energy aura bursting from the soul, her fists and his sword collided. Immense speeds between them both caused a continuous rapid collision, knuckles, and blade discharging back before meeting once again, he stepped back, swiftly charging yet again, he slashed where she formerly stood. Sidestepping out the way, she punched at his face tilting her fist upward, and as the sword defending against it felt the hit against the would-be metal, he took this as his chance. Using this as a kick, he turned the sword so she could be hit by the side and go flying ahead. Turning the flailing into a roll, she stood right back up with her hands barely aiding her, a wing burst out her back so she could speed ahead yet again.
Scarcely above the ground, Matt broke the sword recreating the remnants into two tomahawks, sliding on a trail made below his feet, he skidded right on it- Rahab vanished just as he threw one. Johnson creating another one easily, pupils rapidly bouncing trapped within his eyeballs, they locked onto the edge to the left, recreating the tomahawks to a lengthy ax then spinning around. The spin adding some force to the ax's clashing with her fist blocking the bit from digging into her flesh, she smirked at the sight of it, half chortling, Matt couldn't help but grin at the detail. Gaping his jaw so he could reveal his mouth, Rahab covered his lips with her hand, the beam of ice freezing her palm, she took it like a champ, kicking him back to destabilize his footing, Rahab going for a roundhouse kick to the side of the face from above.
Gasping right at this, he ducked, or rather, so it seemed. Elemental controllers had the skill to not only be zoners but hand-to-hand close-range fighters- or rather, that was what he was taught by his father. Unintentionally mocking Lucifer from early within the War, he made sure to slowly let his knees guide him to Rahab's feet, as smooth as the wind seeps into a heated household in the frosty winter,
"Gotcha!!" Confidently yelled the Magician's son with a smug smirk over his lips, Rahab giggled at this: the right moment to give him a reality check.
MANJI... KICK? The second his leg had met the side of her face, her skull had faded, and he had succumbed to the unavoidable fate; this was war, not a mere sparring session. His face was grabbed while crouched, slammed right back into the ground, Rahab laughed,
"Good kick," Praised the Archangel to the Magician's offspring before she took an upright stance, shadow leaking onto his beaten body writhing in pain, she conjoined all her fingers to point inward at her palm.
Extending out only two, she unleashed both the pointer and the middle, aiming them down to the defeated Matt, Rahab let the Six Eyes temporarily close its eyes so she could now have a sort-of normal face. Save for the demonic glowing red eyes and Lucifer's Wing, through the blurry nature of his hazy vision, he could barely make out the sight of this... horrifying Demon standing right over him. Despite his agonized state, ears ringing from the pound against the Earth, the chunk began to ascend to the planetoid above as it tore off Gaea's body. Two fingers guiding it to the attractive force yanking not only the physical planks of Earth's ground but the souls of mankind, Rahab smiled remembering the battle she just experienced...
"You weren't bad, kid. Not bad at all... I'll see you in the New World, Matt Johnson," Commented Rahab with her eyelids shut. Though this was War as stated earlier, the Archangel spoke the highest respect for the fighter- but the second his soul was about to be torn out his chest, Beau landed right beside his barely conscious body,
"Hm?" Hummed Rahab curiously, watching as Edmund jumped right off with Matt in his arms, Beau landed a few feet away from the Archangel. Right in front of them both, Edward, still traumatized thanks to accidentally glaring into the Six Eyes of Sin, gasped as he jerked awake.
Noticing Rahab's silhouette in the shade from the eclipsed sun, he yet again detonated the sweat on his palms flying right ahead thanks to the explosions behind him. As time slowed around him, the scene in front of Rahab continued as normal, Edmund aiding Johnson in his standing, the weaker latter losing his balance in the middle- knees shivering, he sat on both his knees, quivering from the wounds dealt with his skull's rear,
"G-give it up, Beau. There's no way... I can fight further. N-Not fluidly anyway," Painfully muttered Johnson to his friend, and as Edmund stared ahead, barely glancing at the awakened Six Eyes of Sin once again visible over her forehead- Beau clenched his teeth together then looked away.
Not only could Matt do his fancy fighting, but every single attack he threw did nothing, literally... the only hope they had was a final attack. The friends looked to their contrasting eye colors, strongly outputting his palm opposite to the Icy Magician's son pushing his weakly, they chanted together,
"ANGELIC CLEANSE: OMNI FREEZE/SCORCH!!!!!!!!!!!!" The duo of friends, with all the might given to their vocals, felt their throats crack and hurt as they screamed to the skies, Rahab raised her hands.
From the front of their palms what soared out was none other than their souls, now circular, physical in this world- they combined to create a chaotic Omni storm of fire and ice. And with one final breath between them up, the second the sphere touched against the infinity separating Rahab and the air; the Archangel's anatomy started to disintegrate. When she was cast down to Hell, her son was engulfed by Sin, Takyr's scrumptious main meal, there was nothing she could, quite literally, she was in the eye of the storm. The spirit extending incorporeal arms to yank her closer against the ball of contrasting elements; Rahab could feel her very nature starting to burn and freeze on both sides. The best way to describe this experience was a burning chill that spread at light speed, not only around her skinned exterior, then reaching into the holes on her Incarnated vessel to do so the same to her insides. Intestines, heart, ribs, lungs, stomach. Some melted to mush, others frozen to solid forms of their previous mushy self, this was the end for her.
There was only one other option, a final resort no demon unleashed into the world below Heaven would ever go to, only on the brink of death after manifesting an Incarnated form would they ever want to do something this. As the smoke cleared leaving Edmund and Johnson able to see ahead again, they chuckled amongst one another- without souls, any human is just a hollow shell. Nothing more than skin and bones with an inactive heart and no blood flowing to the brain from there, unfortunately for the both of them, the second they hit the ground from exhaustion at letting out their souls, they were already dead. Brothers to the end, even in death, they held one another hand, turning their heads so they could gaze in their eyes one last time, the life started to fade...
An end to the Colon and Miller legacy, yet a triumphant one. Despite the loss of their lives, they managed to defeat the second weakest member of the Obliterating Incarnations. In this desolate place, this distant time, as darkness engulfed the Earth, they managed to alight the skies with hope in their final brave moments... on July 22nd, 2059 during the Sixth Annual Advent of Destruction, Matt Johnson and Beau Edmund lost their lives as martyrs. Edward in shock for what he'd witnessed, Lynn coddled the awakening Whitney in her arms, she held him close to her chest as she gently sobbed to herself... Singh's eyes widening, he recollected his time as a student at August's Academy,
~Was it that long ago..?~ Thought the Bomber somberly- but as the blinding light flashed before his eyes, a stray finger with a claw at the end pointed to the left to show his incoming classmates...
~Maybe... I can say something about... no, that'd just make her feel guilty. Like I was upset about it. I... I think I know. Thank you, God, for giving me a worthy life, I'm proud to have met- the people I can call my friends~ It was like they were stopped by an invisible shield, Alex's fist discharged a kinetic shockwave sending his feet meters back- the more punches he threw, the more obvious it was; his efforts were nothing more than futile.
Unknown to Al and Rosalyn beside him looking on in horror at her ex, his pink eyes darted between them both, the clawed extremity burning with Takyr; the last words Edward Singh ever let out were not a curse, nothing condemning his first-ever friends. Instead, those teenage memories flashed before his eyes, sitting on that rooftop, kissing Rose, moving in with them both at their loft. The best thing about it was that neither of them would get to sulk in their lonely apartment, this must be a dream... and as he parted his lips, those last words were,
"Alex, Rose... I hope you live a happy life," There was no gruesome aftermath like he was never there, Eddie faded away- to nothing. Simply warping to the Black Moon, his soul drifted off to the planetoid above their heads, Satan stared at them both.
There were no words left, the Devil King stepped forward, placing their hands on their shoulders, Satan's Six Eyes were sent information. From both Hazel and Bella, seconds before they died, they transmitted the girls' final words to the lovers beside them,
"Hazel Adams and Arabella Nova say from the bottom of their hearts-
It wasn't... so bad!"
