Chapter 122 - Destructive Advent - Part Fourteen

As the Despairing Maze was erected from below the dirtied below of Mother Earth, Madi was blocked out, spotting the labyrinth's heights raise further into the skies before her violet pupils. Stepping back as the scraping structure left pebbles tumbling off the lean ends, serving as rectangular plates near the clouds, ending the heightened walls- near the Devil King, the silent Menacing Ruler spectator,

"Hmm," Intriguingly hummed Satan hidden in the clouds concealing their shrouded anatomy, Six Eyes examining the Empress to the left of their hovering figure,

"Mad!" Vocalized her elder brother from behind, Jason seen jogging intended to reach his sister's side, Madi smiled after hearing his unique voice.

Everything happening, every battle occurring, brought the risk of death closer than it ever was before, but despite that, Madi couldn't help but smile as her older sibling stood to the left of her. Shaking her head out of the daze before she could be made fun of, she looked ahead, making another purple-colored plasma bow loaded,

"How'd you get behind me?" Softly asked Mad, flowery pupils darting to the left to glimpse at Jason,

"Dickhead had switched places with me," Answered Jason twirling his red-bladed Ketsueki out from the sheath on his hip, right fingers gripping the handle, limb resting to his figure's side.

"Eldest Son of the Celestial Guardian, Daughter of the First Child of God. Pleased to formerly meet your acquaintance," Mockingly greeted Satan to the others below them, ripped cover hiding their legs,

Smirk upturning their lipped outline above their jaw, the Evil Incarnation held reservations at their hate-filled glares piercing their very soul, Devil touching their feet against the soil. Jason raised his hand defensively, Madi's finger hold tightening over her arms, the Hell Lord raised their hand out their cloak,

"I suppose this isn't our first meeting, is it? Overlord of Hell, Father of Lucifer Morningstar: Satan. Pleasure to meet you both," Welcomed Satan into their warm initials, plentiful aliases spitting out from their throat accompanied by a bump-forming vocalization,

"Charmed," Retorted Madi hatefully in her voice, hate burning ablaze like fiery balls in her purple pupils,

"Big fan of your work. Can't wait to tear you apart," Casually answered Jason, cut lips painted with a vicious smirk, the outer whiteness replaced by a shade blacker than blacker,

"Have fun dreaming... break apart for me, infantile specks of humanity," Satan's foot normally planted still onto the pebble-littered ground let out a tiny Crack so the platform would rumble, cracking remnants bursting out from the pressuring stomp.

For the battle-ready siblings side by side one another, their muscles twitched, mirrored with that similar effect to the corner of their eyes. Jason closing his mouth so the lips would form a straight line, Justice Hunter's eyelids sliding shut over his pupils. In. Out. Breathing naturally as he regained his composure quickly, he remembered to let go of the Ketsueki's handle, turning to Madi. Gasping silently, the decay invisible, out the corner of his eye, the Older Rivera saw no other option but to lift his sister off the ground, leaping into the air. KRACKLE-WOOSH!

Boots caught up in the destructive wave burning away to cover his tanned feet, Jason couldn't help but groan, inhaling carefully, just breathing the right way, remembering a peaceful sight- that was all the power he needed. The stored away knowledge of the past rising hopes for the inevitable future, he smirked above the ground,

~Life Energy Conversion: Negative Pulse!~ Chanted Jay in the seas of his mind, a plethora of red bolts launching off his outfit to add the already-manifested, he flew even further than originally expected.

Skidding across the deserted battlefield, creating creases in his outfit's patches, Jason spun around digging the tip of Ketsueki right into the ground before him. Red eyes sparkling the moment his lips parted, tongue flapping,

"Rebellion Against God!" Beckoned Jason strongly, cadence deep and absolute.

More of his demonic features showing as the tip of the metallic weapon stabbed into Earth's flesh, a stray surge of crimson electricity burst out from the blade, to which a slice in space fissured outward to reality. Clawing out from their prison, Satan's singular step had crumbled the ground yet again, debris disintegrating... following that, the murderous souls seeking their vengeance were treated to the same treatment. Not even a singular playful insult thrown, the Devil King pushed out one finger from the shroud enveloping their figure.

Nothing seen, attack invisible, just leaving a thunderous BOOM against the invisible shield protecting Jason, same with Madi, abruptly jerking awake. Technically drifting between the consciousness and nightmarish slumbering, it took a simple slap to her cheek to awaken her from her Takyr-induced daze,

"AH! SOUL CLEANSE!" Yelled Madisyn desperately, jumping awake, head propelling forward as if awakening from a nightmare.

To prevent her death, for the sake of her daughter's future, being there for her to see whatever eventuality will be her end... she chased the Takyr in her mind, thereby extending into her mind with a sudden discharge of Life mixed with the pureness of Omni's holiness. The Empress sister rubbing at her nape, the Speedster Justice yanked his sword from inside the ground, flipping it around as it sparked with Takyr's discoloration,

"Feelin' better, little shit?" Questioned Jay of his baby sister gently, hands-on one another, he held Ketsueki's back, the latter sharper end implanted into the ground,

"Never better, stupid manwhore!" Retorted Madi, knuckles punching into her palm, the invisible shield lifted, the cleave her brother made fading away to golden strands.

Now, though with Satan further enough between the duo, idle in their spot, the Devil apathetically stared at the two before their Six Eyes. Despite this emotionless gaze, what resembled an impressed smile painted over the line that served as their lips' placeholder. Then WHOOSH-CLASH!

To where Satan stood, their bodies had halted in mid-air, Jason on the left aiming for an overhead slash to drive the side of Ketsueki into the Devil's horned skull opposite to Madi's punch, hovering with purple Requiem over her knuckles. The infinity between stretched indefinitely across space, Jason with Madi couldn't help but smirk despite this roadblock, for the Justice Hunter and the Empress of Light once again spoke together,

"Let's rid the world of this trash, Mad!" Happily cried Jay out to his baby sister, lightning marks surging over his tanned skin from the aspects of his Takyr-Requiem soul... rapidly sparking with red bolts incarnate,

"SMARTEST THING YOU EVER SAID, JAY!" Responded Madisyn, lips painted with that familiar grin, the way she breathed, holding herself still without even the slightest muscle twitch... all resembling her father's Nebuliac Supernova technique!

"Incessant whore..." Uttered the King agitatedly under their breath.

Arms, legs, hair, behind, everything was swallowed up from that galactic aura encompassing around her sunburned flesh, but opposite to her father, she had her mouth, features barely distinguishable. Hahhhh~ The breath she let out surprised even Jason to an extent, to where he smirked, the same Elder protruding out horns from beneath his skin, both siblings magically vanished. After images left in their wake, Madi, emerging from her blur, just as her face was about to get grabbed, had leaped into the air so she could throw her attacks. Raising their arms to block it, Jason's figure sprinting repeatedly across the field in a continuous circle, he flicked out his fingers so something would fly out, incapable of being registered from the quickness it was thrown.

Three kicks were thrown, seconds after her feet moving, steadily maintaining her levitation amongst the winds, the final hit breaking their knuckles. Flipping into the air over their head, she grabbed at their neck from behind, feet digging into their back, she blasted a soul-cleansing Requiem wave to send them flying right ahead. Pupils within the Six Eyes rapidly darting from side to side inside the jars of their eyeballs, limb extending forward so they could catch Jason incoming from the right by his throat, just as he fell to be disintegrated- a slash was made right on their face. The right horn flying off to hit the ground, Satan's face flinched, just seconds away from tumbling forward yet again, their leg flailing behind was grabbed by the ankle,

"HAHAGH!" Laughed Jason aloud, fingers tightening over their limb, the attacker and the enemy started to unnaturally spin around creating a small tornado of thunder mixed with red lightning sparking inside.

Chaotically twirling around that area, the Justice Hunter could barely catch a glimpse into the Devil's Six Eyes before he gasped, ducking over the incoming visible blast. Loosening his grip as Satan now skid back on their knees some feet away from Jay's eyes, the Devil King couldn't help but scoff irritatedly at their counter's failure. Just about to fire another easily, they aimed their finger right ahead, claw endeavoring toward Jay's idle chest- PULSE! PULSE! PULSE!

Madi stepping out from the realms between realms cast by the Sun's light to stand beside her brother, all it took was a simple hand sign, index pointed to the sun-filled sky blue scenery. Jason breathing with a relieved expression, the Vampiric Justice Seeker spun his sword around in a circle, redness turning to a momentary afterimage. Where their Devilish opponent earlier stood, there was now a huge crater, and above it, thick smoke cloud,

"The hell'd you just do there?" Asked Jay quizzically of his year-younger sibling,

"Turned the Sun's rays into diverging plasma bolts that appeared outta nowhere. Meaning: no way for him to sense it. Did you figure out anything while I was doing all the work?" Madi asked of her big brother after answering his question, now rubbing her wrist, yawning tiredly then muttering, "I'm so tired..." Under her breath,

"Yeah, the decay isn't just when it touches you. It's the air, he's sending it forward with his finger n' then decaying it right at the point of impact. Dodge it, don't be too slow," Replied Jason toward her, elbowing her in the gut at the end of his playful comment, only to hear her whisper that murmur, he ruffled her starry hair.

As the aerosol thickness conforming to Madi's interruption disappeared to the summer air, there laid nothing to where Satan stood before, now hovering above the skies. Pushing out their palm, the Devil King pointed out their edged claws beforehand secured to inside their inner torn-apart cloth toward Jason with Madi beside her. Astonishingly in hateful awe of the demonic figure in the air, the Hell Lord vanished from their field of view, then reappearing overhead Jason. Grasping fingers together to form a unique hand, Satan crushed to where Jay stood, watching his adversary have debris fly into the air, Madi didn't stand by idly. Punching at Satan's left, the Six Eyes stared into her galactic starry orbs, leading to her gasp and choke on blood, a shockwave shot at her chest sending her backward.

Jumping up to rotate his legs around, Jason threw three kicks to their face, hardly scraping the sole of their barefoot against their face, the third one easily connected to Satan's face. Just about to raise their arms to block an attack, the defense fell below, heels gliding backward from the kick to their face, Beezelbub shook their head side to side.

SMASH! Went her leg to the side of their face kicking at the Devil's summit, chest to the ground, limb pointed upward to the air, her heel against their face. Tumbling backward, Madi regaining her composure, she jumped into the air to kick at their face yet again in mid air, watching as Satan stuck out their finger after the hit. Pointing right at her chest, she gasped for air, flipping over their head, then tripping them from behind as she crouched, the Devil hadn't even noticed the distinct crackling of Jason's red lightning inching closer and closer to his destined target from the front of their Six Eyes.

Each new slam into the ground sending tremors into the planet's undergrowth, Jason's movements seemed to halt to their enhanced Ocular Endowment. Lighting the rowed red orbs ablaze with a fiery touch signature to the young Emperor and the corrupt Outcast, Hellfire unraveled forth from the evil machinations of their cruel soul, gaping their mouth, Madi behind the descending Satan with their front to the sky and their head turned… couldn't help but disappear into the Blanketed reality she was gifted with controlling,

~I feel like I'm gettin' slower and slower the more I run; he likely lit my heart with Hellfire. But that's okay, I'm half… demon… I can still move forward with the embers of my strength!~ Quickly thought Jason feeling his neurons rapidly jolt, streaming a thunderous plethora of crimson bolts to his rear, he charged his hand right ahead as he cried with his nephew's intent,

"RED!!!" Screamed the Justice Hunter to the air with a crack in his voice, smashing right through their body, leaving a rivulet of energy following his rear.

Landing onto his feet, Satan couldn't help but snarl painfully, looking down, the Six Eyes analyzed the torn cloak of theirs. Madi with Jason standing behind their Devilish enemy, the Devil King cackled happily, crazily snapping their neck unnaturally so the crunching audio would BURST out from their neck. The siblings glancing at one another, the older of the duo readied to make another shield to protect them, before his throat was grabbed- leading him to choke on his own spit, he coughed into the air,

"JAY-!" Despite her godlike form inspired by her father, Madi was still weak to such an obvious chain attack, lifting into the air the same as her brother, two of them choking on their spit searching for air,

"It seems that I've underestimated you two exponentially, haven't I? Normally, Takyr attacks wouldn't hurt me, but because you're both demon and Requiem, not to mention gifted vampire; it has a deeper affect on me than ever. Nebulaic Supernova, as well, shares a damaging effect to my vessel and thereby extending toward my soul. I should take you both just as seriously as I would with Ben Rivera…" Satan was as soft and eloquently spoken as ever notwithstanding the circumstances he held the relatives within.

Their bodies decomposed to a pile of bones- and as they fell to nothing, remnants of figures letting out steam, the Devil sighed disappointedly below gazing at the unfortunate illusion they'd become victim to. The Six Eyes turning upward so they could glare at the side-by-side fighters rebelling against them, Madi's feet pushed off the ground as the air aided in her gradual ascension,

"So, in short, right now, the three of us, altogether: will be finally going all out," Retorted Madi hatefully at her demonic foe, expanding her size so bones would encase her humanoid form, growing as tall to stand like the Maze behind her,

"Ahahahagh! Now that, I can get behind!" Yelled Jason excitedly a widened grin painted over his scarred lips, cleaving open his palm with his demonic talon, the blood that spewed outward into an abundance of droplets cracked with electricity-

As their gigantic forms exploded unto their blessed vessels, explosions roared into existence, leading the fighters in the Maze to turn their heads. Alex just about to choke another demon felt the breeze gently flutter back his messy hair. Rose running up from behind her lover to see the growing sizes of those Titans, August even admired the sight himself, Azazel busy with the fight against Lucifer, he took but a moment to look in awe- and as the smoke cleared to reveal their huge forms, Satan couldn't help but stare with the Six Eyes.

The Giant Demon crouched lower, arms over his knees glaring down at the Devil with contempt beyond that hollow inside, Jason couldn't help but smile the same as his Giant counterpart. Madi, on the other hand, being skinnier with more muscular shapes apparent over her new form, stood tall. Manifesting a plasma sword in one hand, through those starry eyes that held her signature purple tint, she breathed heavily, eyelids shut over her usual humanoid form,

"Am I supposed to be… impressed by this, right now? You're all just useless children, parading around pretending to be heroes. Let me end that fantasy for you," Threatened Satan menacingly, vocalization akin to a rasp, their hands grabbed at their torn cape.

Throwing it away to reveal the inner symbol on their chest, wings spread out to show their whole ripped form, Satan didn't even hold back in the way they so giddily smirked for the weight of the battle ahead. At the same time, however; overhead the Despairing Maze where aplenty battles were being fought in the labyrinthine halls, there laid three relatives together.

Feeling her back crack right into place as she stood up quickly from her prolonged slumber, legs wobbling, she collapsed onto her knees- palms protecting her from a total fall,

"Shit.." Cursed Em under her breath, then falling right onto her bottom, wincing through her closed teeth- she stared up at the Maze in front her icy orbs.

What a marvelous sight being beheld before her, and while it scraped the very skies of human nature, Em sighed. Her son, not to mention her cousins, her brother, uncle and aunt too, all of them could have their lives taken right out of nowhere. She was literally in the palm of Death's hand, so, usually, for something like this, she'd be despairing and scared for what laid ahead in the not too distant future, but as she sat there calmly controlling her breaths, the woman couldn't even think about her child- she just thought about who she was and how it got here.

But in the middle of her contemplation, she could hear something she, too, experienced when she first awakened, and it was the uncomfortable nature of all your broken bones regenerating at the same time. Snapping her head as quick as she could, wide eyes spreading apart, his masculine voice entered the atmosphere as he whispered sleepily,

"Unchain,"

The next thing she knew; there was a familiar hand on her head, something she remembered from her childhood, part of her wanted to smile. It was the same hand through every little possibility, every little crack and unique specification about it, it was like she wanted to believe Ben had been himself just patting her daughter's head. Her heart, her body, even the hair he was grabbing, she wanted to believe it, but in her soul, she couldn't help but hitch her breathing the second she heard his horrible voice,

"The second you move- is the second I'll kill you,"

The truce broken to pieces, the Heavenly Superior Emperor rises from yet another coma to wreck total destruction.

To Be Continued.
