Chapter 113 - Destructive Advent - Part Five

"Ahahahaha! Now, Augustus, Benjamin, Brother!!!! THROW EVERYTHING YOU HAVE AT ME, FULFILL YOUR DESTINY AND OBLITERATE ME!!!!"

Right then and there, that command was his first mistake, for the Reaper and Emperor both went head first right after that. Lucifer didn't move an inch, instead, he sliced both off his arms so the droplets could harden and morph into two sickles. Branding them in an X shape as he collided both of his arms, he couldn't help but giggle happily for the battle ahead, jumping forward to face the stronger of the two, the Emperor himself. Their faces seconds away from colliding, Ben vanished in his Universe of stopped time, Lucifer widening his eyes swiftly, there he reappeared above the Prince to the summit of his skull,

~Peace of Mind! Instantaneous Release!~

The destructive blow burst out from his knuckles aimed right down to where Lucifer previously stood before it seemed to encase him in its obliterating wave. Destroying the ground, throwing pieces and craters of rock into the atmosphere, widening his eyes, he tried to punch at the face of his demonic enemy. Unfortunately, the same thing happened as it did earlier, leading to Lucifer grabbing the punch and twisting his hand so his hand could break, the bone poking out one of his wrists from beneath the skinned layer.

Blood gushing out from his insides, Rivera snarled in agony, Lucifer giggled at the sounds of anguish Ben unleashed from the insides of his throat. Yanking him closer by the part of his arm closest to his broken fist, he attempted to smash his left knuckles against the side of his opponent's head, before a hand wrapped around the wrist of the Demon. Just like when it seemed like all was lost, August Rivera, the Requiem Reaper, appeared right out of nowhere to protect his beloved father…

He couldn't see it clearly in the night's signature darkness, but the shape along with the unique coloration of his heterochromatic eyes- that technique wasn't something he'd only seen once. It was from his past, he knew it was! August had intercepted the punch, pulling Lucifer closer, the Prince getting knees right in the chin so he could go flying right into the interlocked hands of August's following attack smashing his put-together fingers into the back of his body. Just as he was about to crash flat onto the dry battlefield, he kicked right at his chest and launched him right down the path he'd made what with the mirrored desert walls. Tumbling and rolling across the platform, pieces of his flesh flying off his outer layer then entering the atmosphere, some leaving puddles of blood against the floor, suddenly, something like arms came flying right out of his spine, replacing the demonic wings.

Mechanical in nature, as if the gears twisting and turning inside of them want haywire, the metallic extenders chaotically moved, their ends just sharp enough to stab into anyone's flesh. Pushing out further into the air so they could reach where both August and Ben levitated, the duo vanished, both going at different angles to hit Lucifer. The Reaper curving his body out of the way before flipping in mid-air so he could ride over the top of the lengthened projectile heading at him.

Launching himself off with a shockwave of wind following him after he flew into the air, August let his right-hand drag behind him, infusing it with just enough of Orderly Thunder to cleanse the soul of this incessant pest. Zooming right toward him with a stream of thunderous green lightning following his rear, another blur could barely register as it flashed by the side of his face, colliding with the arms of the Demonic Prince.

All of the tendrils that'd pushed out of his back submerging back into his flesh, Lucifer giggled happily, arms raised, he could make out the final sight of Ben struggling. Head snapping back and forth rapidly, neck audibly cracking around the speed of which his bones were moving, his right eye faltered between the whiteness of the Blessed Emperor and the azure coloration of the Requiem Emperor,

"HAH!" Went Lucifer after observing this sight, letting another arm emerge out of his gut branding his edged nails to stab into the side of the altering Emperor.

Blood squirting out yet again, Lucifer's tongue grabbed at the weaker hand belonging to that of Ben and brought it closer. Now with his defense down, Morningstar was able to PUSH! his palm swiftly infused with just enough Takyr to smash Rivera away. Back hitting the wall near ground level, he was pushed inside of it, once again now between the lands of consciousness and unconsciousness. Most of his clothing was now ripped at the front to show the tears in his suit revealing his chest, a thump was heard as the landing of the Emperor's son became apparent. Lucifer turning his head only a bit more up, the sight before him was not rather enjoyable as it was before.

August perched on the steepness at the top of the wall, as if a predator stalking their prey, his eyes menacingly glowed for the sun shined only on the Honored One. Blackened tendrils sneaking out from his back to creepily move around, his hair moving with the way of the wind, the Reaper glared with murderous intent, hate-filled red aura oozing off his very soul deep within the fabric of his being.

For the first time since the beginning of time, Lucifer had started to sweat from the glands on the front of his face, droplets hitting the ground below him. Branding his sickle still, he stepped back, as if in fear for his own life, nervously giggling then hiccuping near the end. That was- until he smirked, raising his arm, it was then sliced to pieces, all in different ones, oozing the same thickness signature to his red fluids. Grabbed at the throat and slammed against the wall behind him, with the hood covering his features, the Reaper gazed into the eyes of the fearless Lucifer, choking on his breath, letting out tiny laughs of sadism…

"M… mahhh…" August didn't need to hear anything that he had to say, he readied to drive his fist right through the chest of this horrific being.

Cleanse his soul right then and there, be done with him even before the real battle commenced! That was what he'd hoped would happen, before his arm was entirely sliced off by an invisible blade- recognizing that energy signature, he stuck out his hand above Lucifer! Her hooded silhouette the same as his with her threatening red eyes, he attempted to charge up Orderly Thunder just enough to kill another of these Incarnation pests! But the strangest thing was- Rahab didn't even get out of the way.

Instead, the slightest spark lit in the interior belonging to all four of Lucifer's eyes, lighting a certain hellish flame that blast right out from his pupils so August could fly right back. Head hitting against the wall, blood-splattered out to decorate it in his insides, the Reaper groaning so some of his tendrils could subside once more within his skin. August, Ben, Emma, and Gen had all been temporarily immobilized from that point on with Lucifer and Rahab having won the battle. Jumping down from the top of the wall, she landed beside her Prince, feeling all of his organs and limbs heal once she was there, he wrapped his arm right around her neck, yanking her close,

"Ah, darling, isn't it wonderful! Just the first round and we barely had to do anything… not even our King had to come out to take out the Reaper! And Allfather rid this world of that other abomination, so there's that plus, as well-" Lucifer's crazed words were interjected by his Right Hand, his jaw flying right off, he shut right up so she could talk,

"Yes, yes, it was rather fun watching you beat them. Unfortunately, separating them anymore would just lead to Allfather interrupting, though it would be easier to pick them off instead of having them in one place. Then again, we mostly separated them because of fear of what that Myers kid could do, isn't that right? You didn't kill him, did you, my Prince?" Questioned Rahab curiously of her superior, to which Lucifer shook his head, regenerating his jaw swiftly with a casual chuckle as he waved his hand,

"Of course not, darling! What kind of a person do you think I am… of course, that child still has his uses. Now, Allfather?

Play with your toys how you will. But save the Hunger for me, eheheehe~"

As space cleaved open for them to step into, Lucifer's dark magic was lifted, and that way, Jason turned his head, once more sensing the fading presence of not only his brother but his nieces and nephews as well. Alex patting the dirt so the grave could be perfect, he clasped his hands together, Jason by his side and Rose kneeling beside him with her own eyes closed, whilst Azazel across from the three chanted,

"Namu Amida Butsu,"

As the trio followed gently across, Ryder to the right of his son had done the same, then all of them standing up so they could set out to reunite with their allies. Madi sat up slowly, having been covered by rocks after she decided to defend Mei, nature was gone, and her dear daughter was now asleep. Cradling her in her arms then lifting her, she decided to reconvene with everyone else, turning to the side and leaving this side of the battlefield behind, she exhaled softly, the comfort of not having to deal with the stress of fighting truly was nice.

Everyone could handle themselves, all she had to worry about was dealing with her daughter and making sure her powers didn't go out of whack. Or rather, that was just wishful thinking, because the second she took a few more steps to now stand in front of the horrific fight of the battlegrounds where Lucifer fought with her brother, nieces, and nephew, it was a bloodbath.

August's chest was exposed with permanent burn marks over his front without a right arm. Ben, had all of his ribs broken, most of his clothes torn, scars, bruises galore. Emma with her spine stabbed through, likely unable to walk anymore if she even tried without any aid, and the left side of Genesis's skull broken to pieces. All because she was too childish, because she was too distracted, protecting Mei just because she was scared to lose anyone else. And because of that, even though she didn't lose her daughter, she ran the risk of losing everyone else.

Collapsing onto her knees, she brought her girl to her chest, tightly gripping onto her body bringing her close… but she couldn't even sob. She stood there in shock at what laid before her, her older brother coming out from the other side of the wall across from her, along with Alex and the Karlos. Just as they were about to reunite, his voice came ringing out to them,

"Miss Rivera? Are you okay?"

The remaining squads from the Requiem Empire had appeared out from the unknown part, with Whitney in front, it seemed they had all reunited at last…
