Once the walls encasing everyone inside of those square cubicles fell, Azazel, Rose, and Ryder were left vulnerable- for once they sunk right into the Earth once again, there was a momentary smoke to the front of their eyes. Swatting his hands around to clear his vision, the silhouette of… something became visible to them, dark, unable to be registered. That was until the wind was sucked in, and their figure was made visible right there, the small family readying their skills to prepare for a face-off with the disgusting creature behind the temporary cloud.
With a halo right over her head and a robe sliding down over the right of her body, her left shoulder was exposed. She mirrored the calming mannerisms of Hana, the Angelic enemy's eyelids shut right over her pupils- before they slid back into her white skin, to reveal the coloration of her eyeballs. Usually, for angels, it'd be something like white or yellow considering their pure nature and lineage, though, it was that of a demon's… and as she glared at them, she couldn't help but let out a smirk, giggling at the tiny mortals that served as her gifted feast,
"O Lord, I thank you for this meal, I shall dispose of these insolent pests once and for all… then go back in time, to ensure they were never born at all," Vowed the unknown female Angel-Demon hybrid, giggling… she was unable to help herself. And so, instead of going for anything simple, she went right for the most potent of the humane snacks before her.
Charging right through the air, she acted like a spear diving forward, reaching out her arms, the tips of her fingers extended claws, replacing her former black nails. Without skipping a beat, Azazel jumped out of the way, noticing that she was going for his father, the second he got out of the range of the creature; levitating into the air after his black wing emerged from the left side of his rear, he noticed that Ryder had utilized some of his younger body's functions.
He made a giant flip right over the crown of her head, he prepared to simply grab at the back of her legs and tear them out. One thing he should've expected, though, was the way she grew out arms from her back, aiming a punch right at the center of his face. That- was when Azazel came flying right in, slicing the arm clean off so the lower part, the fist, the hand, would fall to the ground as it leaked out blood from the end. The older Ryder charged onward after this, using the shoulder of his cybernetic limb to barge right into the back of the Hybrid so she could fall right on her face and body.
With her on her stomach, that meant it could be taken out if one of them applied enough strength to her spine so they wouldn't get up quickly. Rose managed to jump onto her back so she could infuse just enough ear-destroying sound into their vitals and blow them up from the inside, but before that could happen, a tendril snuck around her throat and threw her into her brother watching from the sky. Knowing he would catch her instantly, he tried to put her on his back so she could at least not feel like she was slipping off his hand every second, but even that was just useless as another fist came out of nowhere to slam against his left cheek.
The split second before he got launched into the wall erected to his right, he threw Rose into the air so she could twirl around for a second before losing her balance. Soaring downward right about to lay a hearty hit to the crown of the Hybrid as she raised her Takyr-crackling fist, Karlo realized that a simple hit would simply just do nothing, hypothetically. So, without thinking about it any further, she spoke out her lips, and enhanced her speech with Takyr so the demanding words would echo throughout the battlefield,
"Vanish!" Just as Rose had deduced in her mind, the Hybrid's other self-designed to just punch Azazel was nothing more than an enhanced illusion projected by the angelic mind of that disgusting primordial inbred.
'She' vanished like smoke, as if it were never even there in the first place, Ryder caught his daughter in his cybernetic arm, then placing her feet along the ground so she could tend to her brother-
Just as August grabbed the side of the demon that attacked him, his uncle, and his pupil, he smashed it against the ground below so their brains would come smashing out of the top of their head, he heard something. The screams of his partner, Rivera flew right into the air, just reaching out his black tendril so it could wrap around the waist of Karlo as he soared to the wall, and grabbing his stuck out hand so the both of them could halt their continuous movement.
Luckily enough, they managed to touch their feet against the ground, Azazel shaking his head for a second, dark wing stood out, he smacked his forehead with the blunt end of his blade to shock him out of his daze,
"You okay?" August questioned his partner, hand on his shoulder, to which the Detective slapped it away- turning it back to his sister and father behind him,
"Fine, had it handled. Stay on your side and I'll stay on mine… they'll be coming after you, ya know," Azazel warned his rival, turning his back to him and then tilting his head barely so he could see the sight of his singular blue pupil- about to be overtaken by the craziness of Psyche Alteration,
"Yeah. But don't worry, I'm the strongest… after all," August answered back at him after letting out a relieving sigh, then smiling over his lips, just as hopeful as ever… he didn't know it, but that was one of the many things Azazel Karlo respected about the Requiem Reaper.
Both of them parted their ways once again, to reconvene together with their parties, Karlo started to pick up the pace before his feet launched him forward, the wing sending him forward as he drew the sword's tip- aiming it right ahead. Whispering under his breath, he prayed that this would work and that the signal would be enough for both of them to understand what it meant.
The moment Rose was thrown off to find her older brother by her father, she turned her head and realized the blast coming right for them, it sure as hell wasn't Takyr! Jumping right in front of her, he stuck out his skinned palm, absorbing the chaotic energy into his veins and pushing it right together as he clapped both palms against one another.
There she sat, a few several feet away, the Hybrid couldn't help but chuckle, expanding in height and growing in width, punching their knuckles together so the negative and positive energies of Takyr and Omni could momentarily collide. She was like a giant, even visible from near August's party, to where after Jason sliced another of those demons in half, he couldn't help but notice out the corner of his eye. Its blood splashing onto his face, the back of his eyeball being engulfed by the blackness signature to his Vampiric blood, Jason huffed,
"Huh," The Older Hunter went in astonishment, and sort of disgust, before being clawed across the face, thrown back into the fight,
Meanwhile, back at the fight with the Hybrid and the Karlo family, where she towered over them, the Hybrid ready to smash them to bits- before a sound came flying into Ry and Rose's minds. Their eyes widened, swiftly glancing at one another, she stuck out her hands right at their face, leading to the Angelic-Demon inbred to giggle at the attempt,
"EHEHEHEHE!! Try all you want, little brat, but nothing you can throw at me will disrupt the will of the ALLFATHER!!! AAHAHAHAGH--," Shortly after the Inbred Hybrid had mockingly yelled that into the air, the left side of her throat had been infiltrated, by none other than the soaring Half Demon Detective Azazel himself.
Blood covering his body entirely, he wiped it off of his eyes, turning away once he was a far enough distance from her range to stare at his sister and dad. Both of them noticing this look like something to act on, Rose gaped her mouth unhinging her jaw to unleash a horrifyingly loud sonic scream that bellowed out from her throat, hitting upside the chin of the collapsing forward Hybrid so she could start to hit the ground behind her. The three of them knew, that with her body still intact, she ran the risk of being a threat, without a doubt.
So, after that, she turned her head and saw as Azazel, holding their father below him with his right hand, had soared over the crown of her skull. Passing right over the upturned stomach of the Hybrid, Ryder was dropped right over there so he could aim his cybernetic knuckles right into the chest of the enemy and begin to enter inside their anatomy, creating a hole inside them.
The anticipated seconds turned into minutes, as he delved deeper, smashing through ribs and finally reaching the heart- he grabbed right at it, spitting out some bone. Wriggling the organ right out from the fleshy tendrils holding it in place, Karlo screamed as he tore out the heart so it'd stay right between his hands before he crushed it between his mechanical fingers! Squelch! It wanted as he destroyed the heart, the body turned to nothing but an illusion, and Ryder fell out onto the ground below, sitting on his ass, he grunted, covered with blood and guts.
His daughter cheered, clapping as she jumped up and down happily for the defeat of the challenger that'd faced them. Running over to her father on his butt on the ground, she threw her arms over him to embrace him in a tight hug, to which Azazel, slowly stepping over to him, covered his sword yet again,
"You do know he's covered in like guts and organs and blood, right?" Asked Az rhetorically to his sister, but Rose didn't even care, she just smiled… together, with family.
That memory, one he hadn't even formed yet, was the thing that had helped him slice through the throat of that Inbred. He enveloped his sword in positive energy, weaponizing it right away to make it into Takyr at the last second so he could collide with her flesh… and remembering Blaire through it all, the child he was going to be a father too, that was the thought that kept him alive. But, it seemed that the three, Rose, most of all, had forgotten an important fact about where they were… this was war, and it would be never-ending until it was only Ben left standing.
That being said, a tendril wrapped around the throat of Azazel, yanking him closer to those fingers, belonging to none other than him. Ryder knew that sound, he'd been beside it, the way that tendril had been thrown out from the fingers of that creature, something that didn't even deserve to have such a human form, the Crawling Chaos himself. Holding up the back of Karlo's throat, his white eyes burnt into the pupils of the Moon, still, with a stoic expression over his lips- Nyarlathotep just glared ahead. But, that was odd, even Ryder had to sit up and examine it, wiping the blood off of him, he grunted, letting out a sonic explosion from his exterior to destroy every piece of fleshy guts or blood on his person.
Didn't erase the smell, but the second he stepped forward to try and save his son, his body went flying right at his face. Azazel managed to be fast enough in midair to bring out his wing yet again, and fly right up into the clouds before he could be captured yet again by another of the Chaos' stray tendrils. Blackened feathers flapping to keep manipulating the wind around him so he could stay afloat above the ground, Ryder couldn't help but grit his teeth…
"Isn't that the thing you told us about?! That killed you and everything!" Asked Azazel as he cried into the skies, unsheathing his sword and readying for another battle, to which Ryder cracked his neck, getting ready as he got into a battle stance, Rose to his right,
"That's.. not him. It's something much MUCH worse," Ryder could tell from the way he hadn't even said anything, it was just another skill.
An ability to dupe them… it wasn't real, the true Nyarlathotep, but a resurrected zombie incarnated without a proper soul, with only one sole mission- DESTROY.
