The flames roared, the charred skeletons and crushed bodies of the souls' vessels digging so their bones could split to nothing. The Giant Emperor, still standing straight and tall with his arms by his sides, fell to his knees. The incoming bolts of energy incoming halting as his son made his entrance with the Karlo Detective to slice through the remaining pawns, the front part of the Giant's skull sliced and opened up. The flesh peeling back, the skull breaking apart as the remnants of bone shattered to pieces, the head pulled itself back so the neck would aim at the air above him. Stepping out from its mouth, Ben felt the heated gas evaporate off from his shoulders, hands in his pockets as a wave of radiation washed over him. Slicking back his long strands of brown mixed with white highlights, the Emperor of Time watched, kneeling at the edge of the Giant's lips. Those who hadn't immediately been burnt away, their flesh remaining, walking up and mindlessly strutting through this disastrous arena of flames.
The hand of the Bigger Form he previously piloted had been used to lift this survivor from the floor, gazing at them in interest, a closer look would indicate that it was a man of all things. Whimpering and begging as the male was brought closer to Ben's smaller human anatomy standing on the tongue of his huger figure, the heat and plasma buried within the extremities of his Requiem true form had begun to burn and incinerate his insides from the interior,
"Huh... and here I thought I killed you all, I wanted to do this painlessly but since you're still alive, and I don't want to preserve your soul, goodbye,"
The hand tightened its grip around the weak figure of the human body the poor Angel inhabited, burning his skeleton so the bones would crumble and disintegrate to ash. Hair moving with the wind, Ben turned his head hearing the familiar thudding of feet hitting the shoulder of the Giant. About to make eye contact with the adopted relative of a sister, first, the youngest of the Triplets greeted her,
"It's nice to see you all again... everyone,"
Previously holding an admiration in his eyes, she tilted her head up so they could make eye contact, the cracking of lightning as the darkened clouds spread over the skies above heard. Thunder booming in the air, a bolt of azure electricity struck the Earth and pierced the Battle Station. About to join everyone else, Ella interrupted her former lover, pleading and begging, vulnerable, the tears began to flow from the ends of her eyes,
"Please... I get it. If you don't wanna come back to them, then at least do it for my sake. You're worrying me, no, not just me- everyone! And I can't stand by watching them crumble at the thought of someone they love destroy themself and worry everyone else for something like this. So- come back for me at least, Ben... please?"
All he gave her back in response to her pathetic pleas and cries were nothing but an emotionless grimace as he scoffed at her request, standing up straight, his hand sliding right to left against his nape. The Emperor had nothing left to say, streaks of lightning passing from between the legs beneath him- a duo of streams belonging respectively to the colors of blue and white. And to their sides, a man with fiery wings, a father with his son sliding forward on slides of ice as they rode onward, continuously moving forward just as he was. From that point on, he gave nothing audible to her as a response, instead, he grabbed onto her waist. Forcefully pulling her close she'd hang onto him as he leaped through the skies to crash beside the rest of his friends and family.
Besides his older brother and sister, Jason sheathed his sword, Madi spotting the disappointed Ella as she worried for the man she was holding onto.... Ben landed without a problem, rubbing his nape and sighing as he recharged, Jason patted his head while Madi let out another sigh, the same as her baby brother. Turning their heads to they could watch as August and Azazel converged their incoming attacks onto the blinded Yaldabaoth. Inches away from being decapitated and dying right there on the spot, Demiurge's healing kicked, Omni energy unleashing as the aura blinded the onlookers.
Stopping quickly so he wouldn't fall into his enemy, August rose his eyes, the smug-filled smirk never fading, the glow emanating from It blinding him just a tiny moment. Though, it was just a good enough amount that he was vulnerable to spot Azazel's limp body zooming right at his face. Without any other choice but to dodge so Madi could jump and catch her ex's son, the Reaper twisted his head to make sure his rival didn't receive any sort of additional damage. Tendrils popping out from his shoulders, snapping swiftly around the incoming fist, the Requiem Reaper gradually turned and ascended. Feet gliding against the wind, edges of the long-range weapons digging into Its galactic-tinted hide. Quirking a brow, August commented sarcastically,
"And here I thought you were supposed to be a 'God,'"
Easily backslapping him to the platform below them both, the pile of bodies flew into the air, pieces of debris launching at the same time. The clouds shadowing his face so only his radiating pupils would become visible, hands invisible as they stood shielded in the pockets of his pants, August's smirk grew wider to the vision of the Twisted Demiurge. Once again, as he stood on top of this idiotic and pathetic excuse of a deity, Rivera commented, raising his hand pushing out his extremities- eyes staring away from the sight of the frightened Entity beneath him,
"Don't take this personal, Kuno. I'll still take everything you care for, and ensure you suffer, the same as I have when you took the girl I loved... so, in the end. You'll drive yourself crazy with the guilt and kill yourself. Just as I've always wanted, now, Doctor Abaddon Kuno- BEG FOR ME!"
As the metallic chain drove through the air, tangling and tightening around Its anatomy with beautiful space-like coloration, Yaldaboath felt the yanking so the metal would prevent him from moving. About to easily break free, the current of Takyr energy pushed out from the veins of the Detective, shocking the squishing insides of the Demiurge. Crying abruptly as the demonic wave corrupted Its angelic figure, so It wouldn't easily perish right then and there, the ringing of a blade as it was swiftly unsheathed from its cover entered the air. Black lightning popping out as the tip of the metal blade had struck at the joints of his Galactic Tortutor, he spun it around his head before sticking it straight into the sheath. Limbs falling to the ground, striking the Earth as the Former Assassin turned around to spot the sight, and as the smoke from the landing cleared to reveal the ally from above- his actions were visible. Middle-parted strands moving with the cool air, the snapping of bones slid into the atmosphere as the Young Requiem tore the peak skull from the top of the Aether's body.
Moving around the collar protecting his neck, the smoke had finally cleared, and as his face was revealed, he turned so his front could become visible to the older comrades. The gore belonging to those so-called Children leaked out, the whitened fluids drenching the piles of corpses to a snowy and liquid-like shape. About to drop it to the floor so it could be crushed under his foot, Alexander's eyelids revealed the whiteness of his pupils, and with the arrival of the Academy's Star Pupil, there materialized his friends from the same colorized bolt of lightning. The Aether's body breaking apart and disintegrating to nothing but bones, the eyes of the Lovers were seen as she pushed through the aerosol stretching her arms to the air. Rose's lengthened hair tied into a messy bun, she pushed her arms behind her head, tilting her head upward so she could stare and gaze up at her long-time best friend.
Watching as the purple-eyed Hunger ascended from the depths of the shadow world he manipulated, Whitney took a simple step down, feeling Rose lean on his shoulder with her elbow. Smirking, she stuck out her pointer, sticking up her thumb at everyone else. Azazel scoffing at his younger sibling's stupidity, the Hermit, the invisible Hazel Adams revealed herself as she popped out from the rear of her lover. His hand popping out from his pockets, Alexander patted her on the head, Edward's anatomy forming from the bones as he took a breath from the knelt position from Omni itself. Following that, Arabella Nova's feet had made a splash of liquid splash out from her soles, placing Sunni to the side so she could stand beside Whitney. The Sun and the Hunger stepped closer to one another, their fingers brushing against one another's as Alex spat out a cheesy one-liner,
"Hope we helped you guys,"
Sarcastically remarked the Justice, August smirking at his younger protege stretching his arms into the air, hearing the chilly audio of ice cracking up behind them. The Reaper cracked his head back, with his father at the same time, tilted their heads up hearing the dramatic crash landings belonging to the remaining abundance of their allies. With Matthew Miller jumping down from the slide so he could land beside Ella at the same time as she descended from lightning that'd thundered in the darkened clouds.
Johnson jumping so he could sit on the shoulder of Madi's disintegrating Galactic Giant, Beau was heard and seen, fiery wings flapping as the Strength hovered beside his other half. Following that, Mei crawled out of the Blanketed reality she, too, controlled. And just like that, the Emperor of Time's head hung, his index finger stroking his beard as he pushed his hair up for a moment. With everyone here, the other two Requiems mostly, they could finally destroy this godforsaken spiritual realm, but before that, there remained the alive Children of God. Alex falling flat on his ass, he moaned out abruptly, Ed flipping off as the Justice caught his girl in his arms. Snowy electricity protecting her body, Amara jumped backsliding to be crouched beside Rose's older brother. Bones breaking, shattering as they cracked from the insides of Its otherworldly form, August and Ben stared emotionlessly at the reforming material Yaldabaoth had newly created. Its soul protected in a box of Omni inside of the center of Its chest, arms sticking out as It growled, snarling as if It were a literal monster. A wave of the Angelic energy slid out from Its shape, throwing some of the superhumans back, the Detective and Reaper glancing at one another. Readying to unsheathe his blade, August sped into the air, green lightning thundering out from the male's lower limbs, shocking his friends behind him. Rivera rose his hand, about to punch right through this other form, though, in the back of his mind's eye, he could sense something abnormal.
The Emperor spotting his older brother fall as he gripped and held his chest, claws digging into his flesh so the gore would suddenly leak out, piercing through his shirt. The Hunter of Justice, in the moments he had before his consciousness was taken over by that Devilish Daughter, slapped everyone away so they wouldn't be near him. Parting his lips, fangs showed as they leaked out blood, the white of his eyeball being overshadowed by the dark of his demonic and vampiric blood. The iris morphing to match that of a wild predatory cat, he coughed on his own throat, saliva leaking from the bottom portion of his mouth, before uncontrollably unleashing the most monstrous cry into the world. Tears leaking from the edges of his eyes, he screamed, claws scratching as they seeped into his tough skin,
"NARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
The piles of bodies had lifted, soaring higher and deeper into the air, balling together, a pentagram popping out behind these circle of bloodied bodies. Coughing rapidly, Ella crouched so she could help him up, rubbing his back, Ben kneeling with his ex and sibling, the blonde inquiring gently as Jay's younger brother placed his fingers against the side of his head,
"Are you okay?"
Nodding as the glow faded from the tips of the Requiem's extremities, destroying the interest and control Sirilla held over him with her father's blood flowing inside of Jason. Shaking his head, he stood straight as Ben followed his brother's movements, everyone gazing upon the ball of corpses. Their foreheads being engraved with flipped crosses, their pale skin flipping on itself as the epidermis layer overtook the usual human's flesh- the spine breaking to two pieces, elongated pieces so the feathered wings of those Angelic soldiers would crack out from their backs. Raising to see what he'd created, the bodies broke apart as they fell in numbers, crawling and growling as their demonic claws scratched the platform of the Battle Station. Responding to Ella as their lightning cracked around them,
"Now I am... but the damage is already done,"
Descending from the middle of those corpses with her arms stretched out and her horns illuminating a crimson hue, Sirilla gazed upon their bodies and faces. Nails edged to act as though they were smaller yet sharper claws, the Daughter of the Demon watched as those demons cracked their bones. Lifelessly puppeteered by Rilla's influence as those monsters unhinged their jaws, revealing their fangs to scream and roar to the endless space as the clouds parted. Jason in the middle as he attempted to reveal the steel of Ketsueki, Ben looked to see August levitating close to Demiurge as the Giant watched the sight of the monsters rise from their destroyed corpses. The Demiurge cackling at the sight, It readied to crush them all with a flat palm and crush them all easily. The Emperor of Time's hair blew back as Alexander pushed out his hands, forming an invisible field of electricity around everyone in unison. Turning to his older brother, he informed his brother and older blood-related sister of a game plan he'd come up with,
"August, Alex, Azazel, Rose, Madi, you're with me. We're taking down that creature, everyone else, destroy the demonic army, kill them all,"
The Fool Detective unhid his blackened katana, popping out from behind Alexander so he could jump onto his shoulder, foot pushing down on his shoulder before he launched forward. Slicing at the fingers and cutting them all off so they'd fall, the flat palm was simply punched through by the Emperor- the arm falling limp as It collapsed. Rolling onto Its arm so he could sprint up to fly right for the throat and slice it open, Azazel was followed by Alexander who ran past him with his streak of lightning seen around his figure. Meteors emerging from the Heavenly white clouds to the back of Its head, the Star Student of Justice tilted his head upholding no emotions to the incoming rocky attack. Using his telekinetic propulsion on his legs to an explosion would impact his back would fly right for the air, his tanned fingers spread apart. The lightning sparking at the tips, bones cracking in his extremities as the piece of circular debris spread apart and destroyed at the force of the ethereal force pulled it roughly. Covering his body so he'd phase right through the other fireball and pieces of a destroyed planet, molecules vibrating through it, he spread out his arms and freefell through the air. The wind pushing the meteor for the Requiem heading for the chest, Augustus rose his arms so he'd protect and likely destroy it with Shattered Limit over his features. Right before the point of impact, a punch emerged out from the zipper that led to the previous Blanketed light world, where Madi demolished the bolide of rocks. Flying right through the smoke the firey energy in her fist had created, the flames visible for but a moment before the heat subsided so only the cloud would remain. Eventually, it faded as Madisyn fell and tumbled through a slice she'd subconsciously created to capture her trajectory.
The Emperor of Time pushed his hands and hid his hands into his pockets, blue spirit disconnecting from his anatomy raising its arms to protect its vessel. The Demiurge watched as the incoming teenage attacker went right for the bunch on Its left cheek, irises following his movements so canons would pop out from Its chin. Firing bolts of Omni at Alex, Rose stuck out her mouth so she could scream and waver the course of the energy. A scream surfacing out for the inner workings of her esophagus, the canons fused so a rapid-fire Minigun would continually fire miniature bolts at the incoming Alexander. Pulling herself back, rubbing her throat, Azazel grunted, the Detective swearing under his breath quickly for his sister to hear before his wing flapped to propel him higher,
"Shit!"
About to throw himself in front of his rival, August caught Karlo by his throat, throwing him in front of Ben so he'd tumble and crash to the feet of his father. The Fool Detective grunting, he threw himself up, wiping the tip of his katana against the ground beneath him so a windshield-like protective visor would form of Takyr energy, hardened to become physical as if it were metal. The Emperor took a step out from behind the shield, Madi watched as she popped out from behind her younger sibling, staring as Demiurge's arms rose- the left one rebuilding. August watching, he charged closer so his shoulder would barge to the center of Yaldaboath's larger frame. Absorbing the kinetic energy from the blow, a fifth fist punched right at August so he'd tumble back in mid-air, Rose to jump off to catch him as she went right for the ground. Realizing his jump would be off his course since the Aether was moving, his lightning changed from the leap, throwing himself off Its chest so he could catch Rose and August. Amara's lightning faded, the small group watching in horror as It restructured and added more to Its body. Weapons and copies of Its previous form popping up from around Its limbs, Ben scoffed, cracking his knuckles- patting August on the arm with Alexander turning his head from beside Rose's.
His teacher's new advice ringing in his ears, the trio of Requiems vanished, Azazel noticing and agreeing with their decision. All they needed was to fish for time, and with Madi here, they would last longer than just him and Rosey would normally. The Empress touching her knuckles together so brass knuckles composed of plasma would form around her fingers, Madisyn commanded of the Karlos to her back,
"Follow my lead!"
As she vanished, a neon light was seen from their grounded point-of-views, her body consumed by a purple light- the Demiurge watched at her swift movements. Copies of Its other form throwing themselves off Its shoulders so they could aim for her popping in and out of reality through mid-air. The Omni pushed through the air, destroying the invisible oxygen as it slowly wisped past her, singing a strand of her snowy hair. Catching the bolt of plasma, her fingers digging into it so she could split it into two pieces so it could collide and fly through the duo of attackers' stomachs, Rose, hanging onto her brother from below as she grabbed onto his hand watched. Their eyes widening at her moves, the Demiurge pushed out tendrils from Its arms so their slimy and burning forms would aim for her limbs. Blanketing herself quickly, she warped back into Heaven right in front of Its eyes, where she laid a hearty punch to Its skull. The shockwave radiating out from the point of impact blinding the false Kuno, Azazel whistled with an impressed look over his face, Rosey put her free hand over her mouth so she could shout to Madisyn,
"That was badass!!!"
Meanwhile, to the right of the Disintegrating Giant, a full-scale war between the superhumans of Earth and the Angels-turned-Demons of Heaven collided. Bolts of lightning seen flying in between gushes of blood entering the air around them, Jason could spot the mastermind in the center. Sirilla throwing a fiery corrupt ball of pure Takyr aimed right for his head, the Vampiric Hunter slid right under the projectile, using his palms to throw his feet into her chest. Dropkicking her so she'd stumble from her crouched position, she stuck out another of her hands, to which it was sliced off swiftly and her wrist was grabbed. Crying loudly, he yanked her body over his shoulder so she'd slam to the platform behind him, and as he stuck the tip of the blade into her stomach- Jason chuckled. Mockingly questioning the demon lady as he crouched in the middle of the ongoing war,
"How powerful you are,"
Riding on a bull composed of shadows, Whitney took out his bow and arrow so he could aim from in between the horns and right into the forehead of a flying demon. Luckily, since the arrow was a hardened shadow of darkness, the shadow leaked and morphed the heart of the demon so it'd fall and morph to one of those creatures Myers puppeteered. The bull sneezing as the demon shapeshifted to a lion, the Hunger turned his head as the lion caught one of the incoming attackers by the throat, Whitney flipping from the back so he could land on his knees. Grunting at the pressure, he readied another arrow, imbuing it with the darkness he manipulated so it'd fly out from the string through the battlefield. Chanting, the teen's eyelids softly glid shut for his purplish pupils, commemorating his training with Jason and the relationship he shared with his long-lost sister, he memorized the life she once held speaking in the language that fascinated her so,
"Shīsurū watashi no me, soshite watashi wa anata no me o tōshite mirudeshou... (See-through my eyes, and I'll see through yours...)"
An eye forming on the wood of the arrow, searching for its target, a multitude of his allies slaughtering their enemies was seen. A flaming demon sliced in half as Sammy caught down diagonally for both sides to fall, gushing out insides and gore. Hazel jumping from the sky and implanting her palm so a curved wave of lightning would slide out from her fingers, shocking the surge of monstrous creatures. Boiling the insides of six of those demons, Hazel stuck out one finger, her index, a thunderbolt piercing its chest and flying out the other side. Seen running past and dragging another of those demons by their nape, the thunder caught her attention in slow-motion, throwing the creature she carried into one Ed had just kicked back so it'd fall. Rising his hands to the air so the popping on the chest of his palm would continuously sound off, an explosion of fire and smoke went off into the air so all of those on the battlefield could be aware of his massive firepower.
Firing off an abundance of explosions that burnt away and sent them flying, Ella's hand wrapped around the bolt of lightning, seen jumping right over the Star's stuck-out limbs. Throwing the bolt of lightning in the slowed world of time she occupied at the blasts Edward was throwing into the field, a larger nuke-like mushroom of fire radiated out to destroy more. As Miller's hammer of ice slammed a nearby demon in the side for his son to kick it, turning it to a body of ice with a simple touch of his shoe, they turned around, Johnson and Miller. Artemis, firing off missiles to an abandoned part of the warzone so the explosions could destroy their insides, was seen hovering in a further-away part. The nuke caught her eye, the android staring in beauty, she turned her head focusing on the mission firing off more rifle fire so more of those monsters would begin to fall out from the air and repent, riddled with bullets.
Using the iron from her blood, the spear drove to penetrate the heart of the slashing winged creature. Ducking at another slash it threw at the back of her head, Lynn felt the spear split as her fist was covered in the metal from the spear. Bursting through its chest and right through its back, the demons in the air spat out balls of fire right at the girl, to which they were all caught in the liquid tornado Arabella was seen controlling with her odd finger movements. The water storm passing the Sun's face, the brunette smirked at the protection she received from her boyfriend's comrade, splitting the armor around her fist and curving it so it'd turn to a curved disc with sharpened edges around each side. Throwing it forward so the circular projectile could turn and destroy their flesh, cutting them in half horizontally and vertically. Laughing at the sight, it didn't stop, as more of those demons converged on her, Arabella Nova in a bubble of water grabbed hold of her wrist. Pushing out the fingers of her free hand grabbed by her fingers, the blue-haired Fortune spread open her eyelids to reveal the coloration of her azure illuminating eyes. The tornado of water engulfing Sunni in the center, Bella screamed with all of her might, raising her arms to the sky before slamming them down with a courageous cry. Lynn fell to her bottom, arms behind her back, ready to surrender- before, all those demons on the ground with their mouths opened wide felt something.
Their bones wriggling and hurting from their insides, a slice from the outside revealing one of the entrails of a creature, a simple turning of a finger cracking all of their bones at once. Their necks snapping, bones snapping as their bodies contorted unnaturally in response to the strings embedded in the tips of Ara's fingers. Lynn watching in horror as the monsters fell, their bodies twitching as the blood leaked out from their nostrils, the Sun sighed. A breath of relief exiting her nose, Sunni caught Bella before she could break her knees as she hit the ground, her bones cracking as the brunette questioned worriedly,
"You feeling okay?"
Taking the girl's hand so she could be lifted higher from her seated position, Bella quietly nodded in affirmation at the worried question she was given. Just as everyone around the slaughter had stopped murdering their demons, a wave of heat swam over their bodies. Men and women alike tearing their shirts off from the exponential heat that flew over their chests, the winged Strength flew right into the explosion of electricity and fire. Sticking out his hand so he could barge his hand through it and tumble so he'd fall to the middle of the tornado of mixed elements, Johnson landed beside Mei. Stopping her from moving any further, and pushing her away as she cried to her long-time friend,
"NO!!"
Her mother throwing a cloth over her daughter's back so it'd wrap around from the rear and cover Mei's front, Johnson's father came landing beside him. The second the flames burnt away Edmund's skin in the middle of the explosion, Edward was thrown to be caught in Whitney's arms. The weaker of the two, with the leaner skinnier arms, Myers, let go of Singh's much more muscular body as the Star fell. His arms aching, the bones in the layer of skin beneath the hide of his flesh creaking unnaturally, Edward writhed in agony. Screaming in terror from the agony seething throughout his veins, he swore loudly as the cry echoed out in the Heavens,
"FUCKKKKK!!!"
Miller about to charge through the fiery whirlwind of flames, his arm was singed, about to char and disintegrate to ash. Grunting at the anguish, the streams of lightning originating from her running around the ground were seen as El popped out from the world of slowed space-time. Turning her head from side to side, her fingers vibrated to be as light as the wind itself, about to phase through the ongoing explosion so she could get him out of there,
"He's absorbing the fire,"
Observed Artemis as she began her descent from the skies, the jets propelling her in the air sinking back into her metal insides as she turned around. Everyone staring at her, Matt and Ella sharing a sense of familiarity at their long-time android friend, Artie covered her smile with a strand of hair before returning to her scans,
"The fire's temperature is decreasing at a gradual rate, any demons that were in this vicinity were turned to ash as soon as the explosion came from Edward Singh's hands. The more fire is taken from the tornado, the more it's taken into his body. He's a ticking time-bomb, the second the fire gets into his body, it'll release from his skeleton and he'll burn and die just as his father did... he's doing this to destroy the Battle Station,"
With no doubt, everyone needed to escape as soon as possible, Ella and Jason nodding to one another as Miller turned to Sammy with Mei. The mission was simple, with their mission done and Sirilla's body attached to the ground, they fled and morphed their souls back to their original forms. Whitney patting Ed on the head, Lynn, Hazel, and Bella came over to the seated duo of males. All of them throwing themselves onto the Hunger, they all teleported back to Earth- and it wasn't just them. Everyone was easily able to prematurely escape, all of them except for the speedsters, Jason, and Ella running beside one another as they went right for Beau in the middle of the fire. The duo of lightning-manipulating runners phased right through the tornado of fire, Garcia throwing her friend's soul over her back before they faded and warped back home. Jay turned his head, feet continuously levitating and skidding on the air, whispering to his brother and sister in his mind,
"Come back... idiots,"
Before fading away to a bolt of lightning crashing down onto Earth himself, the fight with the Demiurge continued.
As she launched herself from below her brother's soaring body gliding beautifully through the air, she followed his precise movements. Twirling and spinning through the skies, Demiurge widening Its eyes to the spectacle and beauty that was her dancing in the skies. Her spins were beautifully executed, each new turn and contortion of her body seeming to accidentally weave out from the incoming rapid-fire of Omni. She imagined herself dancing among the stage, practicing the precise movements of her ballerina days when she was but a pre-teen. Her best friend in the crowd adopted parents in the front row with Alex beside them, and the Detective shadowed in the back waiting for a realization that'd never come.
But now... it was here, SHE was here, Azazel watched as his beautiful younger sister unhinged her jaw and spread her crimson irises open. Unleashing a sonic scream imbued with the demonic blood their father had taken inside of himself so long ago that it destroyed the protection and hide of the Aether's galaxy-tinted skull. Above her, he watched with complete glee, almost falling into a trance by the sister he had... by the family he had. Even if August had never returned three years ago now, he would've had her. He would've had Blaire, he would've had so many other people to cling onto... he would've had so many people to be free with. Dropping the katana so it could drop into another pocket in time, Madi caught it and infused it with the plasma and light running throughout her body.
Spreading out his arms and smiling brightly at the sight in front of him, through the blurred vision It had from the scream- Abaddon Kuno saw. For almost 20 years, though the Doctor had no sense of control over his life- AZAZEL KARLO's LIFE, he needed to do this. Not for the world, not for Rose, for the Government... but for himself, his rival brother- and the white-haired girl he'd lost that say. At that moment, all he could feel... truly was-
Freedom!
The wing that would pop out the right side of his back emerged from the sea of demonic blood in his veins. Remembering the mother that'd sacrificed herself for him; the stupid woman he loved and volunteered to die so her baby could live... the stepmother of his baby sister- he charged his fist. A gust of wind serving as some sort of jet engine, propelling him closer so he could throw a fist right in the chest of Yaldabaoth. Space was distorted, bones contorting as his arms and limbs cracked from the pressure, skin breaking as his veins bled. Those same vines visible on the left side of his esophagus, the Detective cried and screamed with all of his strength, the psyche-shifting responsible for his turning-psychotic twirling out from his feet. It visible in streams of red and black tendrils piercing through the man's temples, Azazel Karlo used all of his residing strength. With each bruising of his multitude of knuckles over his fist, the male Karlo's dormant takyr energy popped out. The Demiurge extending out claws so they'd tear off the skinned rear of Azazel's back, the tears pushed out as the edged blades dug into his skin. But his actions never wavered, he stood still and remained, continuing to push himself further so that hole could drive itself into the center of this creature's larger body. About to rise Its hand so It could grab hold of the enemy Detective beneath Its chin, Yaldabaoth idly watched.
With no action to take, all It could do was gawk in interest, August Rivera zipping from the area the wide arm of the Aether once resided. Smirking mischievously as he dove through the air, aiming right for the ground to the back of his head and anatomy itself, the Requiem Reaper fell through a slice of time opened by none other than his father. The Emperor leaping upward, hovering as the moon popped out from behind the darkened clouds, he spread open his arms- a circle of energy he alone manipulated, poofing into existence. A whirlwind of Requiem energy, a mix of blue and purple, a mixture of red visible, the Emperor of Time's eyeballs shifting to a darker color as the vibrant irises stared straight ahead- he levitated downward so he could hold a position at the tip of the Aether's skull.
Every new attack It'd thrown at Its nephew, spikes popping out from the peak of Its head about to stab through his feet, had been halted in one way or another. The spirit reattaching from its user and vessel so they'd all be broken, chains and spears aiming for his body to tie him up, Rivera kicked himself off the ground. Easily opening his eyes and turning his head precisely so lasers could cut through the incoming lengthy projectiles, Madi was seen unzipping the Blanketed light dimension she controlled from the back of her brother. Catching an energy beam of pure cleansing Omni aimed for his back, about to move as soon as she'd let go, the Empress of Light smirked, closing her eyes so she'd copy herself and protect her baby brother. Whispering at the same time as her younger sibling,
"Dedicate your heart!"
Diving and landing her fist so she could crush the canon under her knuckles, she composed a crossbow of plasma and light so the barrel and front half of the shooter would blow up. Arrows composed of the light energy stabbed onto her back, Madi grunting as she warped from out of the way, reappearing behind the canon and slicing it right down the middle. As Ben charged up the supernova that was destined to save the Earth, all this relied on was the final punch. Alexander burst out, jumping along with the piles of burnt, frozen, and cut corpses belonging to those former demons. The bursts of electricity emerging from the intricacies of his body lighting fires as they sparked against the platform he carefully trod across, Amara's legs kicking up soot and ash from below his soles. The world seemed to slow down for him, his falling best friend sending a thumbs up to his way as she was moments away from hitting the ground. The widened powerful arm to her back about to catch her and squash her like a bug, the Justice grabbed hold of his long-time female ally. Putting her to the ground, the fingers ready to grab his hair and pick him up, he couldn't let himself get taken so easily.
The lightning that followed him was as if it were an extension of himself, bolts streaking out and chaotically moving around from every inch and corner of his limbs. Throwing out behind him in a stream of electricity, his every kick that sent him forward launching him closer to his objective.
Every part of his body felt at peace, years ago he would feel that using this amount of his abilities would break every bone in his body. But, ever since the moment he was attacked by this creature at the Training Event, to right now- there was nothing but peace. Though the debris and flames him spelt out destruction and otherwise, corpses strewn about crushed by rubble and souls sent to Hell to be punished forever. But none of that mattered... all that mattered was the past, and how this asshole and Its pathetic excuse of a God messed up his family.
With a simple jump and manipulation of the air using his telekinetic powers, his fist aimed right between the eyes of Kuno. Or better yet, the true form of Dr. Abaddon Kuno, Alex's eyes remembered all those who led him here- the peaceful raining background. The rain dropping and miniaturizing onto the leaves around the bark at the peak of the tree, Alexander was no longer alone when he first punched this creature- the chatter of his friends.
His brothers he made along the way, Whitney and Eddie. The girl he loved for all of his life, Hazel. The girl who'd been there for him from the beginning, who he considered an essential part of himself, Rosey. And his favorite wingwomen in the world who'd overcome themselves... Sunni and Arabella. He needed to do this, not just for them, but the corrupted souls of the mother and father he could've had. Maybe, just maybe- if his mother and father would have never been so desperate for love and attention, for power and riches far beyond this world- he would've been able to be normal. He would've been able to have a mother and father, he still didn't understand any of this yet, but this was the key.
To beginning anew. Infused with the Requiem energy from the heart channeling around his fist, Alexander Amara's bones in his fist shattered to pieces. The punch to the face sending the Demiurge's head back with the snapping of Its neck heard as the Detective followed up with an equally powerful blow to the chest, opening a visible hole to the chest of his greatest enemy. Its smaller form controlling the larger vessel via tendrils and galaxies Its hands were sunken into, The Requiem Reaper barely seen zooming past Azazel's face.
Running on the air with the emerald electricity forming around his feet, August moved with extreme accuracy. Bouncing off of every gut and organ inside of this thing's chest, Rivera flipped through the liquids and gore of the monster. Superheating his hand so he could swipe and slash away at the slimy entrails he was swiftly swimming within, before they all faded away. Breaking apart so that only the hovering adrift Kuno could be seen, as if he were in a tank of water. Each new thrust from the wind pushing the white strands of hair past his hetero chromatic pupils, the sounds of his deceased lover echoing in his mind.
A finger sticking out just for him to take... his hand reaching out to grab him by the throat, August clenched his teeth together. Remembering the memories they shared as a couple for one simple week, and the lifetime they spent as spirits in the Temple, the Requiem Reaper quickly ran. Muttering, not to himself, not to Kuno as he readied to end it all- right then and there; but for the safe Celine he cherished,
"I wished... I had more time... to spend with you-"
And as he caught the torturous creature by the necks, extremities digging into the throat of this false man, saving just enough time to look him in the eye before vanishing with Kuno in his grasp. Azazel falling on top of Rose so both of them could vanish, Alex dragged the brother and sister duo from the ground and ran. Reaching their hometown, the Empress and the Emperor clapped their hands together at the same time- whispering and chanting in sync,
"Justice..."
The supernova had been quiet, the ringing of the energy scorching the very fountain of this otherworldly realm they'd inhabited. Both of them long gone as the destruction reigned over the location, all that was left was nothing but ash and a thunder storm above. And as the Author hovered to His stage, rebuilding the wood material from its destroyed state, God raged. And when the LORD thy God hath delivered it into thine hands, thou shalt smite every male thereof with the edge of the sword, until there was not a single... human... left.
To Be Continued.
