"Gine!" Rosalyn Lockhart immediately turned to him.
Julius Ginellevé stepped inside the room and found the Queen of Hearts sitting on the floor, touching and squeezing Chesire in the cheeks. The cat person immediately disappeared and then reappeared in another portion of the room.
"Wow, your Knight is so fast, Your Majesty," Chesire said.
He didn't look guilty—but just surprised.
Which was a good thing, because Julius would have found himself upset if the cat person tried to feel guilty as if he was doing something wrong. Perhaps the Knight could look at it as a simple and innocent act done by the Queen.
She may have seen Chesire as a cute and interesting creature—nothing more and nothing less. There was nothing that he needed to feel jealous over. Didn't she already tell him that she wanted him out of her life?
Rosalyn Lockhart stood up slowly and waved her hand in front of the Knight. "I'm glad that you're back now, Gine. Where did you go?"
