It was already late when Andy got home. He slowly glided into the hall and was surprised to meet his mother still up and waiting for him.
"Mum..?, what are you doing up this late?" he mumbled as he strolled over to where his mother sat.
"Well, it's so late and you weren't back. None of the workers also got any information of you getting home late. I tried calling your line and your driver's but none went through so I called the office and Chelsey said you had already left so I was worried."
"I'm so sorry mum.." he mumbled wittily as he sat beside her, drawing her shoulders into a hug.
"Okay dear, I'm glad you're back and safe." she replied with a smile.
"What about dinner? Have you had anything yet?"
"Yes mum..., I passed by a restaurant before getting home knowing how late I will be."
"Okay, okay, that's good." she commented, slightly brushing her hands through his hair.
"What about dad?, Is he asleep?"
"Yes dear, he just left the study not long ago. He was working on some documents which he needs to present tomorrow at the Mayors meeting."
"Okay, then I guess you should also go to bed now." he mumbled about to help his mother up when he suddenly remembered his promise to his sister.
"Oh, I almost forgot." he commented, relaxing back in his seat with his mother gazing at him expectantly.
"Well, it's about Kalisa. I guess she is asleep already."
"Yes she is, what about her. I notice her waiting for you anxiously."
"It's about her studying overseas."
"Yeah, what about it?" she questioned, gazing more attentively.
"Well, she prefers having her further studies here than moving overseas for it."
"Why...?" questioned his mother, puzzled.
"I guess she have her own reasons mum...why don't you let her make her own decisions."
Mrs. Erica tilted her head thoughtful for a while and patted Andy softly on the laps.
"Let's talk about it tomorrow. You need some sleep yourself." she replied as she rose up from her seat.
"Okay mum.." he mumbled and helped his mother to her room.
"Goodnight mum.." he uttered, peeking his mother on the cheeks.
"Goodnight son.." she answered as she strolled into her room.
Andy took a deep sigh and sauntered up to his room.

Tyra was fast asleep when she heard weird sounds. She slowly opened her eyes as she turned to see Tiara still up behind her laptop, slightly hitting the keypads.
"You're still up?" she mumbled dully.
"Yes Tyra, I need to get this assignments done for Delphine and Nora. I need the money for my extra classes but this laptop isn't just wor...king.." she replied, still hitting the laptop.
"Aww? I thought Papa had Mr. Nathaniel checked it for you the other time."
"Yes, he did Tyra but I don't know why it's behaving like this again."
"Maybe you're overworking it. Why don't you have some rest yourself and let the laptop cool down for a while. It might work properly afterwards."
"Okay, okay, go back to sleep. I will wrap up soon and head to bed."
"Okay, just don't stress yourself too much. Goodnight." she responded as she turned back to sleep.
"Goodnight Tyra..." replied Tiara but Tyra had already drifted back to sleep since she was an easy sleeper.
"Oh Tyra, you can be really weird at times." she added as she slowly closed her laptop and strolled to her bed.
She took a deep sigh, slightly stretching as she slammed herself on the bed.
"How I wish things could be this easy." she muttered as she gazed at the fake illuminating stars sticked on the roof. She kept gazing thoughtfully for a while and drifted off to sleep.
It was a bright and beautiful Tuesday morning with the aura of the fields filling the whole atmosphere, giving out it sweet breeze. Andrew was already up and pestering his mother around.
"Knock it off already Andrew. You should be getting ready for school now not here in this kitchen." uttered Mrs. Eugenia on noticing Andrew playing with the sink.
"But mum..."
"No buts Andrew, get to the washroom now else you'll be late for school."
Andrew and her mother were still not agreeing with each other when Tiara walked in.
"Causing trouble again Andrew?" she queried as she strolled over to the fridge for water.
"Good morning mum.." she hastily added.
"Good morning dear." replied Mrs. Eugenia, slightly glancing at Tiara then back to Andrew.
"Not that one young man." she hastily added as she noticed Andrew heading to the dough she was missing for cookies.
Tiara looked on and chuckled slightly as she slowly opened the fridge.
"Now out of here young man..." uttered Mrs. Eugenia, heading Andrew out of the kitchen.
"Okay mum..." he mumbled and rushed off.
Mrs. Eugenia slightly shook her head as she strolled back into the kitchen.
"He can be a handful, you know." she mumbled to Tiara who was by now, gulping down a glass of water.
"He sure is." she replied.
"And you, you're up so early. What's going on?" she queried as she glanced a surprised look at her.
"Well, I have planned on helping Papa out on the fields today. So...., I woke up early." she replied, wittily.
"No school...?"
"Yeah..." she answered gleefully with a grin and dashed out of the kitchen.
"You kids can really be troublesome you know?" she shouted after her as she went back to what she was doing.
Tiara was half way through the corner to her room when she heard Tyra shouting on top of her voice.
"I guess it's Andrew again." she mumbled, rushing to the room. She slammed the door opened and was stunned to see Andrew all over Tyra on her bed.
"Andrew...." she exclaimed as she rushed to the bed.
"Get him off Tiara." shouted Tyra.
"Enough young man..." exclaimed Tiara as she carried him off the bed.
"I thought Mama asked you to go for your bath?" she questioned as she gaze at him.
Tyra sat upright on the bed glaring at him.
"Well.., it was already getting late so I thought of waking her up."
"And is that how to wake someone up?" queried Tiara as she threw a questionable gaze at him.
"Off to the washroom now." she added, guiding him to the door. Tiara closed the door behind her with a sigh as she glanced at sulking Tyra.
Tyra sighed, looking pissed and glided off her bed.
"Don't mind him Tyra, you know I naughty he can be." mumbled Tiara as she slammed herself on her bed.
"I know.." she replied as she took out her towel.
"And what about you Tiara? You usually don't wake up this early. What's going on?"
"Hmm..., I plan on helping Papa in the fields today."
"Oh ok, that's understandable." replied Tyra as she walked out of the room to the washroom.
After about 20mins, Tyra returned to the room, hastily got dressed in her school uniform, took her bag and rushed out of the room whiles Tiara still sat on her bed, reading a book.
"Where is Tiara?" inquired Mrs. Eugenia as Tyra took her seat beside Andrew at the table.
"She is in the room mum..." she replied as she snuffed her mouth with some cookies.
"Careful Tyra..." commented Mrs. Eugenia.
"Okay..." she nodded.
Tiara was in her room when her mother's voice came echoing in.
"Aren't you joining us...?" she queried.
"I'll eat later mum..." she shouted.
"Okay dear." Mrs. Eugenia replied and there was dead silence has the rest of the family had their breakfast. They were still enjoying their meals when they heard a knock at the door.
"Let me get that." uttered Mrs. Eugenia as she headed to the door. She slowly pulled it opened and saw Fabulous at the entrance with a broad smile on her face.
"Good morning Auntie..."
"Good morning Fabulous. How are you dear.?" she questioned with a smile.
"I'm fine."
"Oh come in.." she hastily muttered, gesturing her in.
"Is Tiara still asleep?" she inquired as she glided into the house.
"No dear." answered Mrs. Eugenia as she slowly closed the door behind her.
"She is in her room. She refuses to go to school today with the excuse that she wants to help her dad in the fields."
"But she can't Mrs. Eugenia, I will get her out soon."
"Okay dear, go ahead." replied Mrs. Eugenia as she took her seat behind the table.
Fabulous nodded with a smile and headed to Tiara's room.
Tiara was still reading when she heard a knock at the door.
"Come in..., the door is not locked." she responded, her face still buried in the book. Fabulous pushed the door opened and sauntered into the room.
"Why are you still there superstar?" she mumbled.
"Fabulous..?" muttered Tiara as she lifted her eyes from the book.
"Yes it's me Tiara, why are you still on bed. Have you forgotten we have a text this morning with Mr. Louise?"
"Oh shit, Fabulous. I almost forgot." she mumbled as she jolted up from her bed and rushed to the washroom.
"Oh Tiara, you're really something." muttered Fabulous as she sat on the bed in wait for her. After a long while of waiting, they both glided out of the room with Tiara all dressed up for school.
They strolled out to the dinning hall to meet Andrew and Tyra already gone.
"We're leaving mum..." uttered Tiara as they met Mrs. Eugenia clearing the dinner table.
"Okay dear but what about breakfast?"
"I will have mine at school, we're running late." she answered.
"Okay dear, have a good day."
"Okay mum....,you too." she replied as she dragged Fabulous by the hand out of the house, slamming the door behind them.
***********
They continued their walk to the bus stand laughing and giggling. Just as they were about to take their seat at the waiting point of the bus stop, Tiara noticed Andy talking to someone at a distance.
"What is he doing here again? Or does he live somewhere around here?" she mumbled thoughtfully to herself as she gaze at him from a distance.
"Hey..., are you okay?" questioned Fabulous on noticing her.
"Yes I am." she replied with a smile.
"So..., what are you looking at?" she questioned.
"Nothing..." she answered.
They sat in wait for a while as Tiara kept glancing at Andy from a far.
"I need to find out what he is doing here." mumbled Tiara to herself as she stood up from her seat.
"Where are you going?" inquired Fabulous.
"I'm coming Fabulous..." she muttered and sped off.
"Hey... Tiara?" exclaimed Fabulous but she had already left.
