Tiara was the last to clock home. She had to stay in for a while to complete the documentation that would be needed for a presentation. Usually, nobody waits for her but she was surprised to walk in on her mother returning from the kitchen. She looked so busy for such an hour.
"Hey," Eugenia smiled on seeing her daughter.
"Mum~, what are you up to at this hour?" Tiara's brows furrowed as she glanced at her wristwatch –not sure what was keeping her mother up at such an odd hour.
She was usually the early bird among the four; first to sleep and first to wake up. But checking the time, it was already past 11 pm.
"I got my first order in a long time, Ti." Eugenia's smile broadened as the words escaped her lips.
Tiara couldn't help but share her mother's joy. Though her baking skills were top-notch, she had been out of the market for a decade which ended her with the laundry business. They weren't even sure if anybody remembers LATIN BAKERY.
