Tanya awoke not long after while groaning and holding her head. She remembered that she had been shot, and Katie healed her. Tanya promptly opened her bloody shirt looking at the skin of her shoulders. It was smooth, dirtless, and she couldn't find any flaw on her skin.
"Hey, are you awake?" asked Joan, who was still driving. "I thought I was going to lose you," stated he weakly while still focusing on the road.
"I'm not in the mood for jokes, Joan," responded Tanya before looking back to see the two sisters who had similar faces were sleeping soundly.
"I'm not joking," muttered Joan quietly, unsure whether Tanya heard it or not.
"Poor them. It looks like they're exhausted," asked Tanya, concerned as if she didn't hear Joan's murmuring at all.
