Stanley patted Kinsey's shoulder to persuade him to straighten up again.
"You underestimated me, Kinsey. If I wanted to kill Katalina, I wouldn't have told you to come back and wait for her to come. I would have killed her secretly without your knowledge. But now it's different."
Right, it's different now. If only Stanley had not fallen for Meisya, he could have killed Katie without hesitation once she returned. But now he has to think about his wife's feelings if he has to take her twin sister's life. Not to mention if one-day Meisya found out that Katie's killer is Stanley, he will not be able to face the hatred from his wife.
"Because of Meisya?" guessed Kinsey hopefully.
"Because of her," replied Stanley convincingly. "If this is your decision, I will not interfere. But you have to think about the feelings of the second miss. What would she experience if she saw her older brother die suddenly before her eyes?"
