Kinsey recognized the footsteps and was about to walk away from the person who was disturbing his peace. Right now, he didn't want to talk to this person.
"Are you going to avoid me?" this person asked as she realized Kinsey was about to leave.
"I don't want to see you," came the cold answer from Kinsey with no intention to hide his dislike toward the old woman.
"We have to talk."
"There's nothing to talk about."
"It's about this afternoon. I'm really sorry. I won't do it again."
"..." For a moment, both Kinsey and Ode fell silent. "Why did you do it? No. I'm more curious about what you did. How can you make the red wolf pained like that?"
"I stuck this on its head." Ode shows a white stone emitting cold steam. One glance at Kinsey knew instantly that it was no ordinary rock.
"Should I know what it is?"
