Rose was a loveless girl her mother Louisa was no more and her stepmother maltreats her.
it all started when her mother got pregnant with her younger brother when she started having complications months into the pregnancy.
when she went to the doctor, she was asked to go for check up after which it was found out that she had fibroid which has to removed as it could endanger the life of both mother and Unborn baby but before that the baby had to be Aborted.
when Louisa heard this she broke down in tears which took a while before she calmed down.
" What if I decide to keep them s child Doctor? " she asked the doctor.

Few months later
After Three hours of Hard labor, Baby Joshua was born.
Due to complications Louisa was very weak and could hardly move, she stared blankly at the wall in front of her as tears filled her eyes.

A month Later
Rose noticed that her father had changed a lot especially After her mother's burial.
Her father who who was a very Responsible and loving father became an Alcohol addict, he began smoking and drinking thereby Neglecting his responsibilities as he comes home drunk everyday.
Rose with the Aid of her Granny took care of Little Joshua
Unfortunately her Granny Passed away Three years later.
Months after her Granny's Passing, Rose was at home Babysitting Joshua when she heard a knock at the door.

Perhaps due to the noise Three years old woke up and came to the sitting room.
