Beyond a doubt, Haniel was panic-stricken the moment that she saw the crack on top of the barrier that she created. The female knight was down to half of her mana reserve, making it more difficult for her to maintain the spell. She couldn't possibly repair any damages that would be inflicted on her barrier immediately, considering that she was assisting her two companions by providing them with oxygen.
If they were in their world, they could replenish their mana reserve in an instant. This cycle would enable them to activate spell after spell without worry.
In the demon realm, not only were they in an environment that wasn't human friendly, but there was also a phenomenon that's preventing them from gathering mana. Nothing was in their favour in this world. Furthermore, they were on alert for any incoming attacks from any enemy that they didn't even have a way of knowing when it would arrive.
